The Pseudo dragon keep up with her. For something that was suppose to be known for ferocity and strength, he was quite agile and small. He ducked in and out of branches and then trotted beside her when there was a tiny clearing. "It's not like you aren't the first friend he's tried to make. Although, going better than it usually does." He kept close to her, being his only protection.

Alex Scriber avoided a rather dangerous plant he had remembered from the old hunter trail. Though he recalled that it was rather delicious when handled carefully. He only eyed it though, he didn't know that kind of detail and he only know how to avoid it. Not to cook it safely. Once he passed the dangerous plant he continued, keeping a disintegrate spell on the tip of his tongue.

"Hmm." Was all she said as she moved her arm so that her feathers don't get entangled in a rather thorny looking bush, she didn't much like the things that grew in this forest, but she kept her silence on the matter and put up with it. She looked over at the Pseudo dragon. "I always like to make new friends and get along with most anybody. But it can be a difficult thing to do if they are doing something they shouldn't be doing." She paused a moment not quite sure how to word her next thought, "But... In this situation, since its magic related its not my field nor business so.." She shook her head, "I'm not sure how to put it, and as far as I can tell he's a nice guy that wouldn't do anything destructive on purpose so if he wants to practice something he shouldn't be doing then I don't see why he can't." She paused and looked at the dragon, "Did that make any sense? Cause I think I somewhat just confused myself."

"Trust me lady, when I am done with him... Destruction won't even be the term used to describe what he is doing." He kept his distance from her now, hiding in some thick thorns so that she couldn't reach him. Using his wings to help him dig into it without scratching himself. Turning to face her once more. "One thing I learned from working with this guy is that he hates something out of order... and in this place, nothing is as it seems." He chuckled menacingly as he crawled backwards into the vines. "Don't lose him now! It might just set him off." He laughed even harder as he had gone through the thickest parts of the forest.

Alex Scriber was wondering the woods. It felt like he was being watched. It felt like he had walked a lot faster than he usually did when exploring. He turned and looked around. Not seeing anyone in sight. He was getting a little frightened now. "Familiar?" He whispered "Azura?" He looked around for them. Standing on what looked like a trail. "Anyone?" He was anxious and waiting for help.

Azura looked at the familiar and felt her feathers stand on end as he spoke then back away eventually disappearing. She shook her feathers to put them back into place and moved forward to look for Alex having lost sight of him. There was something about the Pseudo dragon, and she didn't like it, and it was then she wondered if he should be trusted or not. She moved to the place she saw Alex last and looked around, then hesitantly moved forward shouting, "Alex!" She moved around a large looking tree, "Alex where are you?"

He could hear a voice in the distance. "I...Is that Azura!?" He jumped into action as he jumped over a branch and started looking in all directions trying to find her. Spiders fell around him. He easily determined at that size and amount, he would be a goner if he couldn't react. He started to panic. "Flash Freeze!" He shouted as the area around him quickly cooled. In a flash of blue light all the spiders were shattered in ice. Though nothing in the environment really changed. He started taking deep breaths as he continued running. Thoughts running through his mind. 'where am I? Where is Azura, My Familiar.' He stopped to take a breather. "AZURA!" He shouted as he turned back to see the Mother of Spiders behind him.

his eyes flashed yellow and he waved his hand at Mother of Spiders. "Hurricane Rush!" The tornado lifted the Giant Spider into the air. Though not enough to bring it above the tree's then in a bright flash of light a lightning bolt struck it on the way down. Once he stopped covering his eyes all he could see was spider guts sprayed against the forest. He slid against a tree onto the forest floor in a ball. "Where is everyone?"

Worried twice in one day. That's a new record for me. She thought as she looked around, then at a distance she thought she heard her name and some comotion, then.. Was that a flash of light? She didn't stop to think about it but started running off in that direction hoping to find her friend, as she ran she it didn't occur to her that her feathered arms would get caught on some of the plants or some of the scratches she had received.

Izzy sensed the panic from all the way up in the air and she tilted changing her direction, she had not flown off that far. She surveyed the canopy of the trees from the air, she too noticed the odd light that peeked through the trees and a sudden movement of air and she circled high above the area unsure if that was her companions down below or not. Suddenly she let out a shrill cry that could be heard through the canopy of trees to whoever was on the ground, then let out another cry then circled above to keep watch.

Azura heard a familiar cry and she calmed herself a little bit and turned in the direction of the cry which had come from somewhere close up above. "Alex!?"

He looked up in front of him. He had thought he heard something. His eyes slowly faded into a lava red. Standing up he looked around. He wondered to himself. 'what is happening to me?' he could feel his aura changing... like something was entering inside him. His eyes flashed yellow again...

He was again watching himself. He remembered doing this. The first seal of dragons. He walked over in between himself and his familiar. They were both talking with each other in a wide open clearing near some moss covered runes. It's like he wasn't even with them. Then he saw himself perform that elaborate ritual...

Alex looked down to his familiar. "Did it work?" The Pseudo Dragon nodded. "Just as intended, any moment now you should see the spirit of your dragon guardian." Alex looked up in front of him seeing nothing. "You sure this wasn't some sort of strange attempt to make you supper again? I don't feel any different." The Pseudo dragon laughed. "Of course not, he won't come to you unless you really call upon his power in time of need..."

Although he couldn't see The Guardian Dragon Spirit then... he could see the gargantuan creature now. He could only see the head of him... he was just massive...

He snapped back to where he was, his eyes fully turned. He could see the guardian spirit now. It was as if he just met him for the first time, but in reality he knew that the dragon spirit had been watching the whole time. Alex stared into the dragons eyes. His eyes the same color as his. "So... my familiar..."

"Just a fool dragon with beliefs that you will grant him power enough to become a full dragon! A fool and a liar! He lured you out of the safety of your castle and academy to get you to do this. He believes that you can resurrect our race. A dream that even I can't expect you to do. However I am your Guardian and I have watched over you the day you summoned me. I didn't reveal myself so I couldn't gratify that tiny dragons colossal ego. I am here to protect you, but my spirit cannot help you without your magic. So when you are in the thickest of danger, remember my name Ixen Shochraos and we will unite to become a force to be reckoned with. "

Alex Scriber was just so confused and lost. "What about now? What do I do now?" "Wisdom is what you seek? I can deliver..." Ixen Shochraos looked to his right. "Your friend comes for you, but her life is in greater danger than yours, She does not know of the plant that you avoided to come here. She will brush that plant. You know very well that this poison is swift. Allowing the plant to devour her. You must stop that from happening, or it will be you who pays the price again."

Alex eyes lost it's lava red color and turned yellow. It showed him the trail he took in a long yellow line. "So my familiar? I can't trust him?"

"Yes, I would say kill him, but he didn't lie about one thing, he does know a lot about the long lost dragons. He could tell you more, but enough about me! We can talk any time, save your friend! Before it is to late!

Alex Scriber nodded as he followed the yellow line back. A new vigor in his eyes. He could only think about how it was time to repay her for all her help. He would save her this time... he had too. A tear ran down his cheek. He didn't think he could lose another friend... not like this.

Azura had to stop feeling a little winded from running, ducking, and almost tripping over a few roots. She stood leaning against a tree and looked around wondering if she had gone very far at all or if she had somehow gone in a circle, everything looked the same! "Ugh. This place needs signs or something." She stood up feeling a tad bit dizzy, "Hmm I can't be that out of shape." She started walking again, "Alex?"

Alex came across the plant that he had crossed a while ago. He was looking around quickly. Everything looked similar, maybe she was lost also? "AZURA!" He yelled out. Hoping she would answer him back. "ANSWER ME!" He looked at some tracks with her foot prints in them. "This is a big help... I can use Prestidigitation to color her tracks, then I can find her." He snapped his fingers and the her tracks lit up like a faint blue aura. He was relieved that the actual Idea had worked. He started following her, dodging anything he knew that could hurt him in a poisonous fashion. "Azura!" He called again. "Just hang in there!"

(The plant is about a size of a human and is like a common fly trap. It it will eat you and chew you up, in case you decide we encounter it)

Azura stood there for a moment, she heard someone should her name but she couldn't see him anywhere, "ALEX!?" She heard movement and turned around but didn't see anything, then turned and backtracked the way she had come, then stopped when something moved again, "Alex?" She turned towards the sound and found the plants moving, she watched a little bit longer and she backed up and slowly unsheathed her sword. "This can Not be good." She watched as the giant plant opened what looked like a maw she prepared to fight then took a deep breath in and yelled, "ALEX! HELP!" This was something she had never fought before.

((Eh why not razz ))

He heard her voice. He was on her trail. when he finally had site of her and his enemies. He braced himself. Lifting both hands up in the air from his waist. This spell was hastily done, and probably won't do good for his magical reservoir. "Golem!" He slammed both of his hands on the ground. The energy pulsed into the ground. In front of both Azura and The Plants a large earthen golem stood in front of them. It was massive compared to them. It grumbled as it looked at his enemies. Alex simply pointed at them. "Crush those plants." The Golem looked down at the plants. Pushing them together and squishing them. After he mushed the plants in his hands. He then crumbled to rocks on top of them, assuring there demise.

Alex Scriber fell on his a** in exhaustion. Under normal circumstances this spell wouldn't have drained him. However this isn't normal... and he has drain a lot of his energy. Alex Scriber was breathing heavily from his hasty cast.

Azura stumbled backwards when the giant earth creature appeared between her and the plant, she was a bit dazed but instinct had taken over and she stood ready to fight should anything come at her. She continued standing in place for several moments after the earth creature had crushed the plants then tumbled on top of them. The tip of her sword touched the ground as she forced herself to relax, then sheathed the blade and looked over at Alex who clearly looked exhausted and turned to make her way over to him and sat down next to him, "I think," She paused to shake the dizziness out of her head, "That we should do everything from being separated again."

After several moments of rest, "Thank you, and...I'm sorry if I had offended you earlier. I just.. didn't know what to say." She gave a tired smile and looked at him, "Are you ok?"

He had been sweating most of his break. Although it was easy for a warrior to recover easily in a short time. It takes nearly 8 hours for a wizard to recover fully. Casting a few high level spells can be draining. He shook his head and wiped it one more time. Trying to gather as much Arcane Energy as possible. "I agree, separating is a dangerous idea." He didn't try to defend himself. He was just being a coward, and selfish. How was she to know he lived a very solitary life style. Even with him trying to socialize. He could barely think about what was happening. His most trusted ally is a stranger he met a week ago. His familiar his only a power hungry spineless dragon... His life had definitely flipped. "I am sorry that I put us in danger like that... I shouldn't have run off like that." he just stared at the crumbled pile of dirt in front of him. Wondering if his life had been better off if he had joined the guards instead of becoming a prodigy.

The Sound of Teeth Clattering together could be heard not very far from here.
Suddenly, the sound would get Louder, as if approaching.

Izzy looked about hearing the strange noise off in the distance, she looked for the place where she could sense Azura's mind strongest and alighted herself on the tree. She could not get to her friends in this place since there was no place to land. She cried out once, then cried out louder this time as a warning that something was coming. She sent images to Azura of a clearing she had found earlier and made sure her emotions were clear that they should move on soon.

Azura looked over at him and gave a small smile, "Well the most important thing is that we are both are alive." From a belt she removed a small canteen that she always carried with her and handed it to him. "It's just water with a few herbs mixed inside the kind to help you relax. Drink as much as you like." She flinched when the trees above moved and she looked up, then relaxed when she heard the familiar cry of Izzy, then through her emotions focused on the noise she had somehow managed to miss earlier. "Do you hear that?" She stood up and looked around, "Izzy is above us, she doesn't like that noise, nor does she like being seperated where she cannot help if needed." She stood protectively next to Alex, "She showed me of a clearing some ways to the east just big enough for her to land in." A pause as she moved her hand to her sword, "I will not rush you because you need your rest." As the sound seemed to get nearer she could feel her feathers stand on end.
