Professor Browles recieved Amy's homework. She raised an eyebrow. A few minute s later, she frowned. By that time, she was tapping her phoenix feather grading quill on her desk. Well, she was half absolutely correct and the other half utterly wrong. She got out her maroon ink and wrote a large "50%" on the parchment, and went to find Amy and talk to her about how she might be endangering her quarterly grade.

1. Who was Gaea?
Mother Earth she created the Universe and gave birth to both the first race of gods (the Titans) and the first humans

2. What was Chaos?
the dark, silent abyss from which all things came into existence

3. What were the two versions?
-The begining there was only chaos. Then out of the void appeared Erebus, the unknowable place where death dwells, and Night. All else was empty, silent, endless, darkness. Then somehow Love was born bringing a start of order. From Love came Light and Day. Once there was Light and Day, Gaea, the earth appeared. Then Erebus slept with Night, who gave birth to Ether, the heavenly light, and to Day the earthly light. Then Night alone produced Doom, Fate, Death, Sleep, Dreams, Nemesis, and others that come to man out of darkness. Meanwhile Gaea alone gave birth to Uranus, the heavens. Uranus became Gaea's mate covering her on all sides. Together they produced the three Cyclopes, the three Hecatoncheires, and twelve Titans.

-Chaos gave birth to Erebos and Night while Ouranos and Okeanos sprang from Gaia. Each child had a specific role, and Ouranos's duty was to protect Gaia. Later on, the two became a couple and
were the first Gods to rule the world. They had twelve children who where known as the Titans. Three others known as the Cyclopes, and the three hundred handed Giants.

4. What is your belief on the matter?
I don't believe that this creation story is accurate but it is interesting to read about.

((Eleven days later))

Lilly saw Carmen taking a seat and waved sligtly to her as she sat down next to her. "Hey, So this is my first Mythology class ever. We didn't have Mythology at my old school. Is it interesting?"

"Cool, I can't wait to learn about Mythology than. I think I'll seat closer to you." Lilly said as she picked up her back of books and sat back down next to Carmen.

"Me either but I think I get it from my mom. She's always been fascianted with it herself." Lilly said smiling back at Carmen. She was begining to warm up to Carmen, she hadn't done that in a long time. Friends were not something she found easily after her best friend had betrayed her trust.

"Physics, wow. I know nothing about physics. What is that anyway?" Lilly asked feeling a little stupid.

"Yes, I sure think so. What's gravity going to help if someone is trying to curse me. Hey, not to change the subject but have you ever been to Hogsmeade?" Lilly asked wondering when the next Hogsmeade trip would be.
