Tried something a little different with my colouring. This was an experiment. So I drew a character I have on an iPhone app I use sometimes.

Every time you add more, I just cannot help but think. She is amazing! A very talented artist. That you are, do you do art as a profession? heart

Razer Every time you add more, I just cannot help but think. She is amazing! A very talented artist. That you are, do you do art as a profession? heart Aw, thank you. I used to profit off of my artwork a few years back. I made a decent amount but the economy is bad and people don't seem to be terribly interested in paying for art right now. I used to sell to galleries and auctions. But I haven't made anything off of drawing for years. Maybe one day I'll be able to sell art again. *Smile*

My family discouraged me from furthering my skills. They wanted me to have a better future. However it seemed to be the only thing I could do with my talents. I would like to know any tips you may have in improving art?
I know this economy is very bad.. I did some charity work with art. However mine is not the least bit professional. More than half went to a charity of your choice..
Plus what was earned for yourself covered your supplies mainly. I mainly did for the children's hospital since I spent a lot of time there.

Is there a place where I can see a collection of your works? I thought you may have had an art dump here but I didn't see it when I checked. Over all something anyone can do is just keep drawing. Like everything, the more you do it, the better you get at doing it. Also, never feel like "you're really good" because there is 'always' room for improvement. If you start thinking you're already great you'll improve slower. Always be your harshest critic. Also, don't get discouraged. Keep trying hard to improve. I find that one thing that helps me to improve is to never say "no". If I take a commission and they ask me if I can draw something... If I feel like I can't draw that, I wont say no. I'll say "Yes, I can do that"... Then I 'have to'. I have found that I can draw so many things I never thought I could because I wont say 'no'. I used to make 15-200 USD per piece. I sold traditional and digital. After the frames and supplies I still made a pretty good profit.

I used to make 15-200 USD per piece. I sold traditional and digital. After the frames and supplies I still made a pretty good profit. I was God of Spatulas when I started in the guild. I am nowhere as good as I used to be and my old work is too big to scan. It wasn't on a level near yours but it was to help people not make a real profit. I just used what went to me to purchase my supplies.
I want to improve and draw because I love it. I do freebies at times for a random person or friends for improvement purposes. I am not the best but certainly not the worst.
I have to dedicate more time in my art. Improving is what I draw for or for the fun. I thought you probably would have done good back then. I don't know if I could do art professionally but I find it fun and enjoyable.
I know at times we all get an artist block. Like writer's block. Sometimes doing other things you normally wouldn't does help.
Also I got the account I used the most back in August. It was banned for over 5 years because I was hacked/banned. Due to clicking on a phishing link.
