Sparky1800 Heroic Pat Sparky1800 I Like Glitter Sparky1800 I Like Glitter He was abusive but she was quiet and didn't want to get him in trouble but he crossed the line .-. oh he's lucky she stayed with him that long Yeah he raised me since I was 2 years old so I always thought of him as my dad, and my mom and him never fought when we were around so after summer break we found out everything and it was like....a slap to the face ._. yeah that sucks well atleast there are some perks with having divorced parents...unless he isn't your real dad...is he your real dad? I wouldn't really say having divorced parents has its perks entirely. I mean sure there's the possibility of getting more gifts and stuff....But, coming from experience It's stressful. But things happen for a reason and the best that can be done is stay positive. Yeah....that's still a perk and thinking "hey I might actually get something out of this" is being positive. But not entirely..I mean, I'd rather a full family..because I can't have a family dinner on christmas, I can't have the same experiences with my family like the lucky kid with both parents...and it's kind of selfish to see it that way. with "yay more presents" don't you think?

There is nothing lucky about having both parents unless you love to hear them argue...Having a full family is impossible nowadays..and a bit overrated...Too many people in one home is just chaotic.....Thinking positive and pretending everything is alright is ridiculous then. You should just be lucky you have atleast one parent who loves you. So many kids don't have parents or relatives at all who care about them.

I sleep at my friend's a lot and I mean A LOT! and they get along so well, that's the point of marriage is for two people who love each other to be together, if the family argues too much it obvious they aren't supposed to be married. Yes I feel very lucky to have at least one. But, I still wish I had a fully family. to be close to both my parents. It's a lot more stressful when parents are divorced going back and forth and not having a mom or dad around. Im not saying its the worse. But, it's not something to favor.

Not true, I do things for a lot of people. Keeping sanity is done by finding a way to cope with life, for example I help people, it helps me realize I have a purpose, You can't isolate yourself, finding people to bond with also helps with sanity.

So do I but you do realize that what you just said is selfish " I help people, it helps me realize I have a purpose" Even when you help others it is a bit selfish....it's not bad but that is the truth. You help them because you want to help them If you can't deal with others it is good for you to isolate yourself. You can't force yourself to deal with people. Bonding with people is not always good...the world has changed...the way people think is completely twisted.....you will never know a person.

And it isn't selfish, because I expect nothing in return, because I do it for the fact of knowing i helped someone, which results in proving my purpose. it's selfless act unless i desire a reward. And also, being alone is something that should be avoided because that puts you in the spot where if you need help and have no chance of doing it alone you have no one to back you up, and theres always one person in the world that you can put up with if you let yourself be open. Everything is done by your own will. You can overcome obstacles such as not dealing with people. For example I have 10 friends where I live that I know I can trust and rely on. and they don't ever get on my nerves. and bonding is one of the best things you can do. It loosens burdens and gives you a friend that you know you can have faith in. Because I use to isolate myself, believe all the things you say. But I opened my eyes once i found out that there are people who care about me, but i just never let myself believe it. and I can go on and on about how and why people are needed in our lives and why isolation can result in your demise

Families have this way of putting up a good front...Even if it is good at the moment they will have some bad times but they will get over it then it will be good again and then bad it's like a rollercoaster. There is no such thing as a family that doesn't argue. It is in our nature to argue with our siblings and to often disagree and sometimes agree with our family and parents. Everyone argues there is no way to stop it.

There is no such thing as a family that doesn't argue. It is in our nature to argue with our siblings and to often disagree and sometimes agree with our family and parents. Everyone argues there is no way to stop it. Well for one, they aren't pretending. I know better, also, I realize that parents fight, and argue, but not how you imagine it. Life itself has good and bad times, but that doesn't mean its not good. In fact, it's good to argue sometimes, vent the anger out. But, just because of this doesn't mean in anyway it's bad to have a full family, infact I long for a full family when I am grown. The only thing that makes anything bad is negativity, bad things happen, so what. If you truly fight, and look for the good instead of the bad you'll have a much happier life. But, if you see simple arguments between a man and woman as bad than you need to check yourself because it's not as bad as presumed. We as humans can't live a perfect life, but that doesn't mean we have to live a bad one. Just remember that.

Never said it was bad I'm just letting you know that there is no family that doesn't argue...so even if your parents were together they would still argue whether it be good or bad. My life is good ^_^ but in another month or so it may be bad...then it will be good again. It just works like that. That's life. It's so exciting smile I enjoyed this little debate it was fun.

Well, despite this has ended, I'd like to end with this I am familiar with hardships, despite the fact I'm still in high school I am not naive to the troubles to come and the difficulties of life. Don't let the fact that I'm still in high school make you assume I don't know. (that refers to other debate)
