Ah, okay...
Phasist or Physics Calculator or Whatever the Heck We Figure Out to Call It Coming soon to a forum thread near you.
Adventures: Most stressed s are constantly seeking some way to challenge their minds, something which doesn't occur in boring, everyday life. Out in the vast world, they seek things they have never seen - or better yet, never thought of - before. Better still is if they can find someone who is their intellectual match, and they have been known to spend long stretches of time settled down with dragons, often to their mutual benefit.
stressed 's have also been known to join up with parties of adventurers just to be led wherever the group wishes to go, hoping that it will be somewhere that had not occured to him.
Characteristics: A stressed 's strength is his IQ. Everything in the world can be calculated, be it your own bodily functions, everyone else's actions, or the tendancies of the world itself. A stressed seeks to master these calculations.
It is said that a single butterfly flapping its wings in China can cause a hurricane in the Atlantic. A stressed who has truely mastered his science would be able to write a ten-page formula for exactly how it happened, and then as evidence, repeat the effect with a flick of his hand. There is no energy involved, no mana, no psi, no ki. In a sense, sweatdrop is not a power at all. The stressed simply knows how to trigger chain reactions for things that could happen anyway by random, if highly unlikely, chance.
Alignment: Usually, to even begin to grasp the intricate calculations of nature and physics, one would have to be very dedicated to study and personal inhancement, and thus, most are lawful. However, people with the necissary high IQ are often insane, so choatic stressed 's are not unheard of. stressed s show no real tendancy for good or evil.
Religion: Few stressed 's worship any form of deity, seeing it as illogical. After all, are these beings really so much greater than we are, just because they create creatures and worlds? Powerful wizards and psions can do that too. A stressed 's respect for gods continues to decline as he becomes smarter and more powerful, especially if he becomes (or at least percieves himself as) smarter than those gods others worship.
Background: stressed s are often drawn to sweatdrop because they are deficient in some other way. Some have mental disorders that cause the portion of their brain focused on calculations and perceptions dominate other portions. Many are physically weak or scrawny, and as such needed to rely on their brain for everything. Some, however, simply discovered the advantages of higher intelligence and ran with it. Almost all have some sort of magical enhancement to their intelligence, or several different magical enhancements.
They are always seeking ways to continue improving their IQ (through better items, higher levels, or any other source available) because they know that is their greatest asset.
Race: Of all the races, the one most likely to produce a stressed is humans, since they are so naturally diverse in personalities they are most likely to produce such an oddball. After that, a gnome's natural curiosity and a dragon's inherent superior brainpower make them good candidates. However, a member of any race can feasably rise above the others intellectually and follow this path.
Other Classes: stressed s get along best with wizards, psions, and rogues, and in fact most stressed s were wizards, psions, or rogues before becoming stressed s. This is because these classes all focus on using one's brain, and stressed s find them much easier to have conversations with. It is also notable that in all these classes, it helps to be quick, coordinated, and precise, which is almost as necissary a part of being a stressed as the high IQ. As for other classes, stressed s admire monks for their dedication, but often frown on clerics and monks for theirs, feeling that in following a god unquestioningly, these people are not thinking for themselves enough. They get along with bards because they're the next best thing to a wizard, sorceror, or rogue. Most other classes they can abide by easily, as most can respect others' choices and understand their value, or at the very least would rather have one to take all the hits. The unthinking tendancies of barbarians simply irritate stressed s, as does the carelessness of wilders.
If a stressed and a personist were to ever meet (an unlikely occurance, since both are rather uncommon) they would likely be intense rivals, the personist being the master of the right brain, feeling, imagination, and art, and the stressed being the master of the left brain, IQ, calculations, and science.
Role: In an adventuring party, a stressed often fills a purpose similar to the rogue: having many different skills that others don't have the skill points for, and having decent capacity to fight. At higher levels, a stressed may assume the role of a mage, as his extensive knowledge of the laws of physics allow him to cause dramatic effects with carefully planned twitches.
Game Rule Information:
Abilities: Intelligence is obviously the most important, with Dexterity a close second. Wisdom is useful to guide what may otherwise become an insane or undirected mind, and Charisma is useful to not become the ultimate nerd, but ultimately, these aren't particularly necissary. Strength and Constitution are the least useful to a stressed .

There was no point in stating that.
You just wanted to play with the thought bubble, didn't you? wink

So you need a name for your character? I think I could have a go at that.
How about using these words as prefixes suffixes etc.
Aqil: means intelligent, wise Fahim: Means intelligent, scholar Hui: Means intelligent Vinh: Means bright, intelligent in Najin: Means noble, intelligent in Tuan: Means bright, intelligent in Zeki: Means Intelligent
Aziz: Means Powerful, or to be cherished
Dai: Means Large, great
Maybe Dai,Hui,Aqil for: Great intelligence, to be cherished
