Well, Judgment is kinda like Double Dragon or Streets of Rage. There's no turn button this time. Special moves have merely been simplified so that there is no longer a need for a turn button. There aren't interactive environments to speak of (no weapons to pick up). There are plenty of levels, usually of decent length. Bosses are interesting, although the last two are insanely cheap. Enemy types are somewhat limited. You'll see a new enemy every two levels or so, but then that's pretty much the only type you'll fight for a while. Still, it's a better throwback to brawlers than the recent console games like the new final fight or that one crappy game where you recruit random gangsters in street brawls or something stupid like that. I wouldn't say it's worth 40 bucks on its own, but the addition of GGXX #Reload makes it easy. Unfortunately, this version lacks the story and mission modes, but you gotta sacrifice something, I guess

I have to admit, I was disappointed when I realized how repetitive the story mode was, but Judgement's still a great way to waste your down time.
I think what surprised me the most was that some of the characters were given new sprites for when they ride that mecha dino in world 3. For instance, say you make the dino do that mouth laser attack. If Faust is the one riding the dino, he'll don sunglasses during the attack! XD
I seriously lost it once I saw the sunglasses. rofl
You know what else made me laugh? Chippy Chipster and Pumpkin Pumpster. I'll leave it at that. blaugh

Also, the import version of Judgment has Slash instead of #RELOAD. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
