 "king Aeriolous" Amity said looking up and smiling at him. But soon that smile faded as she saw how he looked. He did not look will and something said bad about his eyes. She did not know if she could handle more bad new as she watched Malag appear from the shadows and stand by her king in small cat form with her head hanged down. "all right" she said softly as she led off to one of the side rooms which was used to bath pactinces. "What is it you want to talk about?" she asked looking up at him

Aeriolous took a steadying breath as it was still hard to say...still hard to accept....
He looked at Amity and began to speak.
The words rolled out plain and simple.
Truth always cut like a knife and even though he said it gently as he could...he could see it slicing into the woman before him.
"It is with deep sorrow and regret Miss Amity....that I must inform you of my brothers....Carroe's death....."

Amity's Eyes went wide and she stabled back into one of the bath tubs before sitting on the rim of it. "hi...his died.." she said letting it hit her. She could not believe it, for a few days ago had been when she last saw him and talked to him too. The man who had saved her and her mother from a curse, who she fell in love with and was going to marry...was gone forever. The tears started streaming out of her eyes as she dropped the book and key. "no no no" she said shaking her head sobbing in to her hands.

Aeriolous saw her stumble backwards and reached for her, but she held onto the rim of the bath tub as she sat.
The color drained from her face and he felt ashamed that there was nothing he could do for her nor was there anything he could have done to stop his brothers demise.
As she dropped her things he picked them up and placed them on the counter nearby. He kneeled in front of her and took her hands in his.
"I....I am truly very sorry. I know you two were close and he had spoken to me about your marriage....I know......I know that nothing I can say will heal the damage I have caused you, but I hope you will allow me to help you through this difficult period."

Amity's eyes where blurred with tears as she tired to look at him and nodded. "I very much would like that, he talked about you often" she said crying, "Can I please be there for the funeral?" She still could not believe he was gone and she never got to say I love you one last time. The hair clip the two made slipped from her hair but Malag caught it in her mouth and looked up at the two. "At lest I still have a piece of him with me" Amity said looking at the hair clip Malag caught.

He took the hair piece from Malag's mouth and handed it up to Amity.
"Yes, my lady, you are more than welcome to return with me to our home where he will be buried. The funeral will be held here, but we will take his body back to the demon realm."
He smiled some
"And when I could catch time with him, he spoke very highly of you too my lady. He was very much in love with you."
He got up and sat beside her and wrapped an arm around her tentatively as he wasn't sure if she would receive the comfort of his hug or not.

"Thank you" Amity said as she rubbed her thumb over the hair clip. It still had the shine that Carroe gave it for her. Two funerals to go to but one would be a lot harder for her to take. She lend in to him as her tears kept coming down. "I still can not believe he is gone" she said rubbing her eyes wit her hands. she knew she would have to cry when she could alone so she could focuses on helping find Wrens attacker. "again thank you" she said

He held her close and watched as she looked over the small hair clip. It held his brothers magic and he understood why it was important. Such a simple gift and it was enough for them both, he thought.
He hugged her as she cried and handed her a clean tissue.
"You are welcome my lady. If there is anything you need of me, ask and I shall serve."

Amity took the tissue and started to wipe her eyes and blow her nose. "you are doing lots all ready and I thank you for it" she said giving a weak smile, "Right now I just want to cry and cry. I need a friend more then anything since mother, aunt and clay are busy." She took a deep, shaky breath as she tried to stop crying. It was so hard right now. "I am sorry if I am taking up your time" she said. Many people where busy right now with deaths and attacks happening.

"Do not worry yourself about my time. I am at your disposal. I'm not quite readyto be out with others right now. BBesides you need me more than anyone else here for the gathering. "

Amity gave another weak smile and nodded. "Thank you so much" she said as she finished cleaning her face. It was going to be hard to work after this but she would push on. 'I will miss you and love you always Carroe' she thought before putting the hair clip back in her hair. "Have you told the king yet?" she asked

His dark headed nodded somberly
"The king was informed by a note I had penned, because at the time I couldn't....I couldn't bring myself to speak my brothers name. I guess.....I wasn't ready to accept his fate.
As if I hadn't said his name....it wouldn't be true."
He smiled sadly
"But since I have told you, I have come to accept his death.....in a way."

"thats est for his probably morning his mothers loss" amity said as she picked up Malag to cuddled her. she liked the feel of the cats soft silk like fur. Hearing Malag purried made her smile more. "I know I kept wishing the morning I woke and he was not here he would show up hug me, kiss me and tell me everything his been doing" she said, "but that will never be and I will never get to finish my drow studies with him."

"He may not be there to do all of that stuff physically, but I am sure the memory of his spirit will always be there should you need it.
As for your drow studies, I can help you, but which aspect of the culture were you looking to study in? Also, if you come back with me, you could probably speak to a few of the elders and learn more about practically anything I am sure. Our elders do have much to teach."

"Really thank you" amity said smiling, "He was teaching me langue, history and culture. I wanted to learn so must for your people our are brothers and sister but we know every little about you all." She would take up his offer and go with him back and stay to learn all she could there before coming home to start her training for a priestess hood. "I will go with you but will I be risk in you home land?" she asked
