I finished it for two three things, so I could become a Werewolf, so I could finish all the faction quest lines, and so I could marry Vilkas. In my new play through however I'm not doing the Companions quest line. I miss the Fighters Guild and was sad when I found out it wasn't in Skyrim. Just like I was sad that there isn't really a Mages Guild either.
]The only surpising thing that happened was Skjor's death in my opinion. Everything else was weak. The silver hand eradication was unnecessary as well. It was very boring.
I suppose what bothered me is that it was nothing like the "fighters guild" is supposed to be. Even though it isn't the fighters guild, I expected there to be some elements of fighters guild quests in it (the main questline, not the repeatable quests).
It's also extremely unrealistic. Why would they suddenly start fighting a whole organization because a single new recruit appeared in their midst? I don't get it. That's not what it should be about, that's not Elder Scrolls standards at all.
What are your thoughts?
if they put more plot in it then it would've been better yeah and i just did it cause they made it sound cool

I just wanted Ginger to marry Vilkas. But then I discovered that I liked being a Werewolf, too. The story could've used a bit more excitement, though.
Also, after learning about Skyrim lore, I found out that Werebears are supposed to be the most prevalent Lycanthropes in the land of Skyrim. So...why aren't there any in the game? I would love to have the option to be one of the other Lycanthropes of Elder Scrolls lore, such as the Wereshark.
I enjoyed the storyline but I guess it is personal opinion. I suppose it could have been a little more.... unique but I also did it to marry Aela now I am the happiest nord in Skyrim.
