She looked him over slowly not having expected him to be the one singing but she shrugged. "Yes...I'm the one playing the violin...and I was going to walk into the room to practice since sectionals is in a week. I heard singing so I stopped to listen to who it was...it was good. Do you have a problem with me doing that like everyone else in this school?" she asked crossing her arms. She looked up at him as her ears pinned back a little. She watched him with her blue eyes and her tail flicked behind her as she started to evaluate everything that was going on. Was this really who was singing? She wasn't all that sure for the simple fact that when he spoke he had no emotions or backing for his voice. The voice she heard singing was filled with emotion and was very different.

Ryuunosuke Suzuki ♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪ Ryuunosuke looked the girl over slowly, wondering for a moment if he could unlock his expressions, trust her because she wasn't human. But he had to be sure first. He couldn't trust anyone, not right now, and not until they proved themselves to him. "Good? My voice... You're joking... But I don't have a problem with you. Why should I? You're good at what you do. They only think that someone not being human is enough cause for them to pick on people." Now was the test. Her answer to that question would mean the entrance to his feelings. But for now, his expression remained dark and unreadable. Just because he could sing with emotion, because of what happened to him, doesn't mean that he had to show that emotion all the time, to everyone that crossed his path. He looked her over once more, trying to get a feel for her personality.

She thought as she stood her ears up slowly. Her tail moved back and forth, "I thought it was excellent. You are beautiful pitch as well as a wonderful talent. I can follow along with you very well when I play. As for having a problem...because of me being so young...and have talent beyond my age. Everyone that I have come across in this school doesn't seem to really LIKE the fact that I can look at any sheet music and just play it from memory," she sighed a little. She ran her hand through her hair slowly as she ran her hand over her case for a moment. She started to remember that she needed to fix her bow. She then let her eyes travel up to the male waiting for him to speak or send her on her way.

He looked the girl over once more, noticing that she did look a little bit too young to be in this school, but it wasn't like that mattered to him at all. It was too humanly to be jealous of others because of their talents. "Really? Well then... thank you for the complement I guess. I wouldn't take those humans too seriously... You say they only look down on you becuase of your age and ability, but I think it goes beyond that. You're young and talented, there's nothing wrong with that." Ryuunosuke just stared at the girl for a few moments before letting out a long sigh. No choice now... Ryuunosuke ended the sigh with a loving smile, filled with encouragement and hope for the other girl, but as quickly as the smile came, it was gone. As if he never smiled in the first place.

She gave a very small smile also having his words slowly sink him. "If a lot more people thought like you then I would be a lot better off...also...you speak as if you are not human and by the way it seems you hide that side of yourself. I wish that I could hide my ears and tail at times...but other times I'm glad that I have them. You are also very talented and hope that we can play together one day," she said as she gave him a very small bow. She rose slowly as she looked towards the window then back up at the boy as she walked past him. Her tail brushed over his hand very slowly as she held her case to her. "For now...we will meet again..." she called back as she started to hum a little walking towards the exit to go to her dorm room.

He glanced over to the girl quickly. "People like you and me shouldn't have to hide, you know. That's what I believe, anyway. I guess we can play together again, if I feel like it. " At the touch of the girl's tail he paused and looked up, facing her as she clutched her violin case to her. His eyes narrowed a bit, but only a bit, when she spoke. "You're leaving already?" He said in a low voice, that was practically a whisper as he watched her walk to the exit.

"Unless you wish to join me for a meal or wanting to play with me that I would need to return to my dorm soon. My bow needs to be fixed up a little...it's starting to break. WOULD you like to join me?" she asked tilting her head slowly to one side. There was something about this boy that she wanted to know a little more about him. She stepped back for a moment from the door as she watched him for a moment as she tired to think of what he was. She could tell he was different but she couldn't place it. Her tail swayed a little more as she watched and waited for an answer.

"I guess I'll join you... as long as we can get out of here fast. It's starting to get crowded... I don't really do well in big crowds." Ryuunosuke sighed, taking a few steps forward as he spoke. It always gets so crowded with humans after clubs end... I hope we can get out of here soon... Ryuunosuke glanced around again, seeing a few of his classmates that claimed to be his 'friends'. He almost let out a groan. Please... Let's get out of here before they see me... But of course, he wouldn't say that out loud.

She reached back a little grabbed the hem of Ryuunosuke's shirt as she kept moving. "I am willing to make a meal when we get back to my dorm. I have enough food and room...I don't have a room mate," she stated as she walked out of the building. She looked around slowly as she let go of the hem flicking her tail slowly behind her. Her ears smoothed back slightly as she walked towards the buildings pulling at something around her neck to get her key.

He thought to himself, quite sarcastically. He began to walk past the girl at a fast pace, trying to get out of the now crowded halls before he burned someone. "Sounds fine to me... I can stay as long as you need me to as well... I don't have a roommate either." Of course that's because I requested that I wouldn't be paired with any human and ended up with no one... Not that I care He glanced back and the girl and shook his head slightly. I don't get her at all

She then looked back at the boy, "You seem to not really speak much. And I don't know if I told you but my name is Monica," she said as she got to her dorm building. She walked in then unlocked her door and looked around slowly walking forward into the living room area with the kitchen. She put her bag and case onto the couch as she let out a long deep breath. "Let's see....what could I make..." she said as she opened up her cabinet to reveal a large amount of food and her tail wagged back and forth.

He shrugged and looked around, since he hadn't really been paying attention to where he had been going. "Ryuunosuke. It's nice to meet you." He said a bit flatly as he followed her to her room. Usually he just used Suzuki to introduce himself, since Ryuunosuke had the Japanese word for dragon in it and he figured it was a little bit too obvious. But he wasn't thinking. "You don't have to make me anything. I don't eat much." Or he could say he doesn't eat human food, since he isn't even remotely human, but he couldn't say anything like that just yet.

She looked down at the box then back at the boy, "I don't mind...I have a lot of food..." she said. She then started to prepare and cook as she started to think for a moment. "That's a really cool name by the way...having the name with 'dragon' in it. My middle name is a character from a video game my foster mom really liked playing when she was younger," she said as she started to think. She looked back as she stirred slowly as her tail flicked back at forth as if she was playing her violin with her tail now.

He looked out the window and crossed his arms, leaning on the wall. "Fine, do whatever you want. But human food doesn't appeal to me so you're wasting your time." But she was already busily cooking away, and Ryuunosuke wasn't going to stop her. "Having the name 'dragon' is a painfully obvious curse. Maybe, if there were other circumstances it would be cool. I'd much rather be named after a character in a video game." He didn't want to be such a downer, but if he put more emotion in his voice instead of being monotone, it wouldn't sound so depressing.

Is there something you do eat? I mean if you are hungry...." she said quietly. She then let out a small sigh as she started to think a little about the way he spoke. Her tail fell behind her as she finished up her food. She grabbed a bowel as she put some into it. She then grabbed the bottle of ranch out of the fridge putting a little onto the mac&cheese before putting the bottle away. "I have to ask...or rather say...you don't have to be down and grumpy all the time Ryuu. If something really sad did happen to you....it's over now...." she sighed. She then shook her head knowing that he would just gut upset again. She was trying to be nice to the guy but all she keeps getting out of him is what seems to be anger and sadness from him.
