Chiyo calmed.
"I suppose my fate is unavoidable. I am a l'Cie because I was branded by Anima. I was given a focus to take my best friend's life. After I fufilled that, I was granted immortality. A lot of the things I wanted to do I cannot do anymore. That's my reason for a lot of things...because I had to take a life, I have terrible speech. I wear all black most of the time. I had nothing else to do but come here to learn. I only wish others wouldn't suffer what I had to. That's my story. I also know you can read minds...otherwise you wouldn't have known this...unless you saw my brand."
Chiyo lifted up her right sleeve to reveal a scorched brand.
"It's scorched because of my completion. A cie'th would have been a better fate than this...but it's too late. My problems have already been made and gotten over with."
Chiyo smiled in what seemed centuries.
"Of course, I don't always think about those things. I'm not as strong as I should be. That's why I came to this class. I figure everything has a reason. What's your story...if you don't mind me asking."

i was the grim reaper. truth is the grim reaper is female, not male. i'm sure why people think that, but whatever i served kyo from the beginning. kyo wasn't to be evil. it was my job to kill everyone good, bad, and in between. then one day he changed and became good. when he started this school i became a teacher and guard. my children became reapers, powerful assassins gifted with power over elements.

kaoru 94 sensei i was the grim reaper. truth is the grim reaper is female, not male. i'm sure why people think that, but whatever i served kyo from the beginning. kyo wasn't to be evil. it was my job to kill everyone good, bad, and in between. then one day he changed and became good. when he started this school i became a teacher and guard. my children became reapers, powerful assassins gifted with power over elements. "That's incredible!" Chiyo looked at the floor. "My friend's name was..." Chiyo paused. "My friend's name was Xavier. Xavier had a mysterious illness since a small child. Everyone avoided him, just like everyone avoided me, even before I was a l'Cie. Back then, I use to wear bright colors...even pink. Anyway, Xavier was the only one who really accepted me. I accepted him too - he couldn't control his illness the way I could control my personality...so it wasn't long before we were best friends. Xavier treated me like a princess." Chiyo's eyes became teary. "But then...then he yelled at me. It wasn't anyone's fault - it was the medication he took that made him angry. He told me I should've done something to help him. We didn't talk for two weeks. After those two weeks, I grew curious about the Fal'Cie...the mysterious, almost god-like beings who were beyond human comprehension. Anyway, I got very curious, and was branded the day I went to see Anima. I was given a focus - given to me in vision form. I saw the vision clearly, which was rare for a l'Cie. Then I knew what I had to do." Chiyo looked up at Luce, then looked down again. "I...I had to...take...his life. And...I really...really...didn't want to...but when I told........Xavier....my focus, he didn't care. He told me: 'I'm asking you...as a friend...put...an end to me.' I was crying the whole time I did that. Then I immediately turn to crystal. My parents are long gone, and so is the rest of my family. I'm basically an orphan." Chiyo wiped her eyes. "Here's a picture of him."  "This was taken with my old camera, that's why it's black and white..." Chiyo sighed. "And me...back when I was happy."  "If you're wondering why my eyes were blue, it's because my eye color changed when I was branded. I don't know why." Chiyo smiled. "But you didn't need to know that, domo."

when people talk about the grim reaper no one ever talks about my power to live life to the dead or my power to turn non human into humans. meaning i can bring him back to life and if you want me to, even turn you human.

"I would love for him to be alive. And...I would love to be human. But I'm almost certain Lady Luck wouldn't be on my side. That's alright. Just to have Xavier is a blessing." Chiyo sighed.

"How did you do that...? Resurrect him?" Chiyo smiled slightly. Sure, being human had it's difficulties, but it was better than being l'Cie any day. And anyway, she could change the timeline partially, so it wasn't like she would ever really be normal. "Xavier's alive...do you know where he is?" (How many characters can we have? I can roleplay Xavier).
