I pre-ordered The Miracle Mile so I would have it in time before I left for vacation, but they shipped it late and needless to say, I didn't get it in time.

I love it!!! That album has a nice, mellow mood to it, that makes it a good album to listen to any time. My favorite song would have to be Southbound.

Is it just me or does Kevin Hearn seem to have on obsession with trains?

-Here Come The Chimebell Trains
-Southbound -about waiting for a train.
-"riding the train back into town" (from: Spider Arm - H-Wing)
-suggested the line "I watched you from the train" (from: Peterborough and the Kwarthas - BLAM)

Getting pre-ordered stuff late SUCKS. mad It's happened to me before. I hope it doesn't happen for BLAM. gonk

I don't think it's just you. I noticed the train thing, too (even though I didn't catch all the references, mainly because I don't have H-Wing yet and haven't heard Peterborough and the Kawarthas yet).

Here Come The Chimebell Trains rocks. cool

I haven't heard Peterborough and the Kawarthas yet either, I just read the lyrics on rockitoldschool.com (my favorite BnL website). They have up the lyrics for all of the new songs (some with guitar chords!!!). It said that Kevin suggested the line on BnL's myspace page.

I love rockitoldschool.com, but I figure out the chords myself, now, because it's a lot more fun. I haven't read the lyrics for any of the songs that I haven't heard yet, because I usually don't pay attention to the lyrics anyway. 3nodding

I got Mothball Mint for Christmas!!! It is great!!! It reminds me of Night Light a little bit (I love the busy drums! mrgreen ) This album can only found at kevinhearn.com (I had been searching eBay far a copy for a long time before I discovered this fact xd ). The only song that I occasionally skip is Run Down Shack. Maybe it's just me, but I find it odd to hear Keving Hearn practically screaming a song...

Yes, actually it is a "voun" or a "nerb" it is up to you however you want to say it.

I only have those by KH&TB, I don't have anything by The brothers Creegan, The Vanity Project, or Don't Talk, Dance! I'd like to get TVP sometime.

Great. That's another CD I need to add to my list of CDs I want. xd Busy drums are awesome... except if you're trying to figure out the drum part to a song. I tried to figure out Born Human and gave up after maybe two bars of drums.

I can't imagine Kevin screaming. It just doesn't work.

By the way, Keving definitely needs a definition. Any suggestions?

I'm too tired to figure that out now, but I'll help later...it's definitely a nerb...is it the act perhaps of being quiet and Kevin-like? I so need to find a way to get you to listen to a part of a concert that I went to last year...where they're making fun of Kevin...it's really funny...and once we have the definition...we'll definitely need a banner... 3nodding

Why were they making fun of poor Kevin?

I always thought that Keving meant to play two keyboards at once. whee

At my first BnL concert, Ed made fun of Kevin's hat, and then when people threw underwear onstage, he put it on Kevin's head during the guitar solo. And at the latest BnL concert I went to, Steve was saying that Kevin should join Guster, because "to join Guster, you need a beard" and therefore Kevin would be perfect. xd

Don't Talk, Dance! was a side project that Tyler Stewart did a number of years ago. I don't really know much about it, as it seems to be pretty rare.

Ahhh...okay...

So, they were making fun of Kevin because:

They (well, Ed basically) were talking about how you could download the concert when you got home and then "wait a minute-you sir, yell your name right now. No, yell it. Wait, wait, everyone be quiet. That's not yelling sir. No, don't yell it for him, he's got to hear. Wait, shh. Really yell it. If you were in trouble, like say you got you know, you fell, or-
Steve: I'd like to introduce you to my main man Kevin Hearn.
Ed: Yeah, Kevin is that kinda guy like when he needs your attention he talks quieter. He can be really loud at times, but-
Steve: It's like this: 'hey guys I'm drowning, help'
Ed: blah, blah...I was giving you the opportunity to yell your name and then you could go download the concert and hear you yelling your name...
Kevin: Don't let them bug you, okay? You and me man can take these guys..."

Yes, I did just transcribe that almost exactly because I'm bored...and a dork...but you know, I'm okay with that... mrgreen
