 Raven's heart stopped when Rin walked right past him. His expression grew dark and twisted. I really made him mad this time.. He shook his head and headed to the library to continue working on his manuscript until he was kicked out of school and was forced to head home. He stopped when he got to Rin's house, looking up to the window to look inside. Maybe tomorrow I should... He looked away. No... that would make it too obvious... The next day, Raven got up early, even before the time school even started. Well, it was way before that. He was actually on time, and there was a reason for t. He grabbed his backpack, which he hadn't brought to school since the second day of school. He then began to walk, stopping only when he got to Rin's house. Then, he just waited, hoping Rin was still inside.

Rin woke up at his usual time as every morning. He walked down stairs for breakfast finding him mother passed at the table from drinking and his father sleeping on the couch. Shaking his head Rin went on ahead and got himself a bowl of cereal then showered up for school. After going through a checklist , Rin got his backpack, phone and headed outside. "What you doing here? Shouldn't you still be sleeping at this time of day?" he asked. Rin was still alittle upset with him.

Raven shrugged. "I decided to get there early today." Raven moved closer to Rin, rubbing the back of his head nervously. Don't let him know anything Raven.. you know that... So make sure... "Look I'm sorry about yesterday... I know you're still mad at me..." He couldn't look Rin in the eyes for some reason, which pissed him off even more. Man up! Or he;'s never going to forgive you! Raven continued to scold himself mentally, and it scared him to know that all of that probably showed on his face.

"Lets go to class Raven, no skipping today." He patted Raven's back then started off for school. The anger had passed. "and I mean it no skipping today. You have appear in class atleast, even if you just sleep." They walked to school and Rin pulled him into the main office. Since they got to school so early he decided to put Raven to work and had him help out with putting filers up. Lucky they got done just the students and buses started to come. "I'll see you come English and P.E. no skipping and I will check records to make sure you don't. Have a nice day." Rin walked and disappeared down the hall to his class.

Raven sighed. Why does he worry about me so much anyway? Does he have any idea... "Ok... no skipping..." He said after Rin had left, but his voice sounded weird and dreamlike. He shook it off and headed to class. When he walked into the classroom, he almost couldn't find his seat. Silently, he cursed to himself, and sat down. Rin's right.. I skip too much... He sighed and leaned back in his chair as the teacher took roll. The teacher's voice was gruff. "Raven." The man said, looking around, but he wasn't looking hard, like he expected Raven to be absent. Raven frowned. "Over here." He said, waving his arm. The teacher looked surprised, almost taken aback, and wrote down in his little book frantically before moving on. WHy am I here again? He frowned and concentrated. For Rin... For Rin...

Rin sat in his first couple of classes happy and cheerfull as everyday but alittle more than usual. Maybe it was because he knew Raven was going to classes for once. 'His grades need to come up.' he thought to himself. ' he had to gratuate with me.' Rin and Raven meet in preschool, Raven had saved him from a bully and since they had been together. But as they hit junior high and high school something seem come between them. What he didn't know.
The bell rang for English and Rin waited by the door for Raven. "I hope you did you english homework." Lucky they sat beside each other in this class. Rin smiled at him. "Thanks for coming to class Rin. Nice to see you in a desk for once."

Raven set with his legs crossed on top of his desk as he slouched in his chair. "As much as I hate to admit it I did do my homework, and I completed it." Without changing his position, he leaned over to his backpack and pulled it out, letting all of his other completed assignments show for only a moment. He placed the papers on his desk. "Told you so." He smirked. He had known Rin for a long time, but ever since middle school Raven changed. He had realized... many things when it came to their friendship and he began to distance himself from Rin. Part of him regretted it, but he couldn't go back now. He only wanted to do what was right, even if it meant drifting away from one of his best friends... He can't find out... That thought never left Raven's mind.

Rin just smiled and started on his work for the day. Everyone was shocked to see Raven in class however it didn't bother Rin. He was happy to atleast have one day where Raven was actully sitting beside him. Class went on as usual then it was time for P.E. "Rin..will you stay? I need to talk to you." Rin nodded at the teacher. "I'll catch up with you in P.E. Raven. Just tell them I might late."

Raven frowned. Rin was never held after class, unless the teacher needed help. But even then, that was usually after school, not right before class. And beyond that, Rin was never late, for anything. Raven was worried, but he couldn't say anything, even if the old him would of. Instead he got up and began to leave. "Alright..." Was all he said before leaving the room to go get ready for P.E. He got in the locker room and changed, but Rin still wasn't there. He grew even more worried. they won't even notice if I'm gone He thought as he went back to fine Rin, hiding behind a wall so that he wouldn't be seen once Raven found Rin and the teacher.

Rin say nothing wrong with the teacher asking him to stay. Nothing else really crossed his mind about it. He fingured it had something to do with Raven being in class, after all everyone knew they were friends. "Something wrong sir? If it is about Raven I can make sure he comess to class more often and he does turn in homework everyday." The teacher chuckled and took off the thick glasses he wore. "no no its not that though it is great you look out for your friend. I just have some papers I want you to look over for a minute." He pointed to serveral papers on his desk. Rin not thinking anything wrong again, went over to the desk, alittle bent over as he looked at them. Then it happened. The teacher had him pinned down to the desk and his pants down around his ankles. "don't make any noise." Fear filled Rin's eyes, he wasn't even close to strong enough to fight the teacher off. Defected his eyes closed in tears as he let the teacher do as he pleased.

Rage filled Raven's eyes when he saw what the teacher was doing. "OI!" He shouted, causing the teacher to look at him before he planted a firm punch, right on the teacher's face. He spit on the teacher, actually spit on him, before he hissed out his words. "How disgusting!" He tried to hold back but it was to late. He punched the teacher again. "I'm reporting you! Say goodbye to your whole career you sick rapist!" Raven was still engraged as he stood in front of RIn. How dare he... How dare he touch my RIn! Raven snapped back to his senses and turned back to Rin. "Rin... Are you... Are you alright?' He managed to get out, although all the could think was please... don't let Rin find out... He can't know... And by that point, the teacher was trying to scramble away.

Rin was still in shock. Lucky the noise got the attention of other students and teachers. Rin was taken to the nurse's office to be checked up and the teacher who had raped him, arrested at once. God knows what else may have happened if Raven didn't show up. "Stay here we need to call your parents Rin," the nurse said. He shook his head. "Don't bother I'll be fine. Can I get an note? I am late for class." Classes should have been the last thing on his mind. The nurse made him stay in the room while she went to get ahold of his parents.

((Sorry about all the weird typos in my last post... my brother was annoying me and I was typing too fast redface )) After all the commotion had finally passes, Raven made his way to the nurses office. He poked his head in to see Rin. "A-Are you alright...?" He called out, coming in to sit down in the chair next to where Rin was sitting. "Can you believe, I actually got praised for what I did back there? Me, getting praised, weird right?" Raven put on a week smile. He was trying to lighten the mood, but he was failing miserably. He was worried... worried about Rin and only about Rin and it made him so mad. He can't find out... There was that thought again... The one that always haunted him. Maybe he should just suck it up and tell Rin everything. But he couldn't. He could only keep running away. "Thank goodness that lech was arrested, right? To think such a pervert was walking around the school this whole time and we didn't even know it? Makes me shiver..."

"I'm ok Raven. Thanks for coming back for me, he might have done worst to me if you didn't show up." He smiled, Rin hadn't shed or let one tear from his eyes. "My hero again." Rin got out his chair as the nurse came back. Of course she didn't get ahold to his parents and he already knew she wouldn't. "Go home Rin, sorry but we can have you stay after something after this. Your teachers will be told and you will be excused from everything." He sighed. There went today's schedule down the drain. "I best head home Raven. Go to class for me." Rin gave Raven's hand a sqeeze then let go and headed home.

Raven got up and followed Rin out into the hall. "Wait!" He said, his voice yearning, but he caught himself and looked away to hide a blush. "Let me walk you home." Be careful how you word this... "J-Just in case... I don't want to be worried for the rest of the day..." His voice dropped down to a whisper. "At least let me be assures that you got home safely..." He glanced back at Rin for a moment, hoping that the things he was saying didn't seem weird.
