"Sorry, I gotta go look for somepony. Go with Spike and Darkfreeze near the palace. I'm sure they're going to go do the same thing. Before Spirit Dew flew away, he turned to Dr. Paw. "I'm sorry sir, I don't think we've met. My name's Spirit Dew. Pleased to meet you!" He said happily as he rose his hoof for a hoofshake.

DarkFreeze was just flying over the city when someone had almost hit him! He looked down and noticed it was Pennington who just missed him. "I gotcha!" he said, diving down to use his magic. His magic had farther range, so he didnt have to dive down deep. Using his magic, he picked up Pennington, whiped in in the direction closest to the castle and sofened the impact by10-fold. By the time Darkfreeze and Spike got to him, he was almost unconcious. opening his bag, he found some smelling salts he used for emergencies. Pennington woke up, he was greeted with the smiles of DarkFreeze and Spike. "Ever been to the Castle before? If not, then welcome."

In a large temple, a golden pegasus with a gray and black mane held a pouch of gold at her side. She looked up and noticed she had triggered a trap! Up above her, she was expecting boulders to fall from the ceiling. However, a door opened on the ceiling and pillows came falling down on her. "Well, that was unexpected..." Daring Do said as she got out of the pile. She looked into her pouch of gold to realize all the treasure was silver. "What the buck?" she said she looked around the temple she was in. The large temple was now a large spinning fun house playing quirky music. So confused, she flew away from the temple, as smiley faces popped out of the walls. "Well, that was the weirdest trap I've ever seen."

"Ok, well I'm going off to get somepony." Spirit Dew as he flew away.

As Daring was flying back to Ponyville, she noticed a blue-purple blur in the distance. She decided to fly straight for it, in hopes this was Spirit Dew. As the 2 came closer to each other, they slammed into each other and pummeled to the ground. "Oww..." mumbled Daring Do, rubbing her head.

"Oops, sorry sweetie," Spirit Dew said getting up off the ground. "I guess 2nd place in the young flier's competition is pretty fast."

"So, Discord's back huh?" asked Daring Do as she stood up. "Who would've let him out?"

Spirit Dew put a hoof to his chin and thought for a bit. "I think I know... I just hope I'm wrong..."

Meanwhile, in Las Pegasus, 2 pon- err, 1 pony and 1 draconequus, stood on a cotton candy cloud with a motor attached to it. "Oh, this is just too rich." the Draconequus, Discord said wiping a tear from his eye. "We should do this more often buddy." He said to the pony next to him. With the snap of his claws, the sidewalks lifted off the ground and hovered in the air. Discord pointed down at his victims "You should see the looks on your faces!" As he laughed, he made 2 upside-down ice cream cones for him and his companion. "Oh come now, we'll take control of Equestria soon enough, but why not have a little fun at first?"

The pony with Discord, was a blue and white pegasus, who wore a black cape and cloak, covering most of him. "Well, I understand your power, which is why I bought you back. Who am I to judge what you do? I am simply to offer a helping hoof for our goal of Equestria. Celestia and Luna will regret the day they buck with us."

((Oh, I hope things work out alright! crying I know family problems can really mess things up. Good job keeping your priorities straight, man. Family always comes first!))

Pennington really didn't feel like going anywhere at the moment, but seeing how seriously Dark Freeze was taking things helped him swallow his pride. You never know, the royal guards might need some help... But I'm not going to be allowed anywhere near the castle like this... You go on ahead, Spike! I know just the pony to help! Pennington ran in the opposite direction. When he was sure that he wasn't being followed, he ran to the place where he knew he could make a metaphorical transformation: the local hairdresser's. As he walked in, he was shocked to see that appliances had turned on their masters, and bottles of every kind of product were squirting without any kind of aim. Pennington immediately freed the workers, dodging flying cords and blasting hairdriers. As each pony ran, he finally freed his normal hairdresser. Lily, I need your help. I'm afraid I can't be myself right now, can you give me a quick fix?

The dark pink pony gave him a curt nod. She was one of few ponies who knew that Pennington was actually the famous author, Scorching Quill. Using her horn, she grabbed a couple of the wayward bottles of dye and fixed Pennington's coat a bright yellow and his mane a fierce orange. Alright, I can see you don't have time to let it set, so it's going to wash out more easily than usual. Just be careful, and you'll be fine.

Pennington, who now looked completely different, gave her a nod. Thanks a ton, Lily. I swear, you have stronger nerves than I do to do this among all of this chaos... I'm gonna leave you an extra big tip later, but this is gonna have to go on my tab... Your register seems to have run off.. He pointed to the now-empty counter, and with a with a quick hug from his trusted friend, set off running towards the castle.

"I hate Celestiadamn running so far." Paw said as he walked up to the large doors of Canterlot. "I hope it isn't crazy as everything else." Of course something was wrong he knew it. The most unnerving part was the doors were opening and instead of the inside of Canterlot, it was a mouth. "I hate Discord so much."

When Spirit Dew landed in Canterlot, he noticed all the things Discord has done, as he held back laughter. The streetlights were flashing rainbow colors, the roads were quilts, doors were opening and closing all on their own, and the castle looked like some sort of monster's head. Well this is... odd. He said as he flew up to the castle entrance. I hope everypony's ok. He thought to himself as he flew up to one of the windows and flew in.
