Personality: Kale is very silent, but he seems happy all the time. You'd be very shocked to know that his home life isn't so great. He smiles to anyone who talks to him, but otherwise is mute. He hasn't found the right person to talk to is all. He's very smart and does love his books. He also loves candy and music and art. He absolutely hates his father, mother, and spiders. Spiders are the worst. He jumps at loud noises or anything that comes at him too quickly. He's very, very shy and timid to new faces.
Birthday: October 13th
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, actually. But he tends to lean more to the guys because of his home life.
Biography: Kale was born into quite the chaotic little family. Neither of his parents really wanted him, but they were strictly against abortion, and there were no orphanages around them. When he turned four, his mother really grew distant from the two males of the family (her husband and son), and his father got rather affectionate with his son. He didn't do anything that would physically harm Kale, and when you're that young, your body doesn't really react, so no trauma was happening. As Kale grew older though, he knew something was wrong with what his dad was doing. He was never hit. He never had a single bruise (except for ones on his hips), but the emotional trauma was taking it's toll on the boy who was now about ten years old. When he hit the age of thirteen, his mother was doing drugs and drinking, and Kale was resisting against his father. He was threatened by the classic "If you tell, you die" line, and just stopped speaking all together. Neither of his parents really minded this. After Kale went mute, his father got more physical and started to really assault his son. Instead of Kale fearing males, like most would, he found himself attracted to boys his age. However, grown men frighten him quite a bit. His dream always was to get out as soon as he turned eighteen, but that dream was crushed when his father refused to let him. So now he just goes about his days acting like the shy guy at school.
Extra: Kale does wear jackets a lot, but that's because he's more self-conscious than anything. Very often, when he's scared or stress he'll hum or sing to calm himself. His art is always private because it's how he gets his emotions out.
--This is for a "Abused Boy / Helper boy" Kind of role play. It's specific because this is a very sentimental role play based off the story of someone I know. Their life is completely better now, though, and I do have permission to make this. > u<

Age: 16
Features: He's about 5'10"; brown hair; gray-blue eyes; moderately tan; pretty small structured. He's thin but it works for him.

Personality: Derek's quite the rebel out in public. You would never guess he's just looking for some attention. He's the middle child among five other brothers and sisters. You know how that goes. On the inside, he's one big teddy bear. The attention he gets isn't positive, but he doesn't care. He's actually proud that people glare at him instead of just ignoring him. He's at the point where he does ANYTHING for attention. Music is what he really likes, well, that and writing and drawing. He craves privacy and yet... he also craves friends. He has a really short temper, and when it comes to showing emotions, he gets shy and actually acts like a guy his size. He's actually a rather optimistic guy when he's in his happy moods. When he's tired, he can be kind of rude, though.
Birthday: March eleventh
Sexual Orientation: he actually hasn't thought much of it, so it's unknown. If he falls in love with a guy, then he'll be fine with it. He just doesn't have much time for finding out stuff like that, though.
Biography: Derek is sixteen and has three younger siblings that are nine, six, and eleven. He also has three older siblings--two of which are out to go to college. His older sister stays and helps him look after the little kids while their parents go to work. Well, he looks after them very well, actually. He's a great big brother for being in the pressure he is. His older siblings are great. They're every parents dream. He's been living in their shadow since he was born. He has to play babysitter to his younger siblings, and if something happens, the blame is pinned on him. With a short temper, this doesn't work out for long. When he goes to school, though, it all changes. He started to do marijuana when he was thirteen to see if they would notice-- they really didn't because his brother was going to college. He started to get in big trouble at school, and they still didn't act like they cared, so Derek went on to bigger things. He bugged the kids at school just to hear some one talking directly to him. It might seem very mature to others, but others don't get it.
Extra: He has a really bad peanut allergy, and he gets cold really easily, so he likes to keep his jeans and jackets on. He's also allergic to bees and ants.
So yeah.
