Xero blushed more at Prisca's words. Since realizing how he felt of Prisca that night was not as embarrassing to think about, but still hard to think of how careless his actions had been. The mewtwo had yet to touch another alcoholic beverage.

"I..." He resisted the urge to look away despite the obvious embarrassment painted on his face. "...Would not wish to loose control of my actions again."

Xero cleared his throat and looked over in the direction of the forest bordering the city. Thankfully Prisca provided a way of escape to the last statement. "There is a tranquil path through the woods. The snow makes the land quite beautiful... if you do not mind the cold." Xero smiled and looked back at Prisca. "Though, I will do my best to keep you warm regardless."

A chuckle quickly escaped her purple lips at the blush. Over a year of watching him do that and it still brought her amusement to see. With her other hand, she reached up to caress his cheek a few seconds.

"Xero, love, I'm only joking," she reassured, patting his cheek gently. As tempting as the notion of giving him more wine was, she didn't think he would want to repeat the experience. She was sure she would have to dig around his memories once more to help him discover what had happened the night before. "Though you'd be with me. You've already tried to strangle, drown, and blow me up. What worse could you do? You acted on what you felt. Unless you mean Edward." Her smile dropped at that and she twitched her nose at the memory, like it put a bad smell in her face. "He doesn't count."

"But I'm sorry to bring such incidents up. A walk sounds lovely. Only if you agree to return to my house after ward."

Who would have known that Xero could come to adore such a word, especially from her lips. "Love". He would never grow tired of hearing it from her. However, the warm feeling was short lived as past mistakes were brought up. His tail lowered in sync with his ears. He had pushed those memories far to the back of his mind.

The blush faded from his face. "The boy had what was coming to him, I do not regret any action I took on him." In fact he rather enjoyed the fact he had. "However, you were my concern... I would not wish to loose control with you again." Xero did a poor job trying to hide his regret for the actions. It was a wonder why she didn't consider him a monster. For her sake he tried not to consider himself one either, though that proved quite difficult.

In an attempt to hide his regret he begun to lead her down the sidewalk toward the forest.
"I will take you anywhere you wish to go." He added again attempting a more upbeat tone.

"He did. And you shouldn't be letting those actions decide for you how you see yourself." The smile was gone from her face and she spoke softly, very seriously. She knew him well enough to know her blurted words had brought back emotions he didn't want to feel. She had become bolder with her words since that first night he had let go his hidden feelings. No matter what she said, she had no more fear of him disappearing on her. Unless he decided to take another fit where he believed so strongly he deserved nothing more than to be alone for the rest of his days.

Standing on her tiptoes, Prisca gave his cheek a peck, still holding tight to his hand. Keeping her face close to his, she whispered, "I love you, no matter what you may think about yourself. You need to stop being so stubborn and see the man I see. The one I fell in love with almost a year ago." Settling back on her heels, the woman fell into step beside him, removing only one hand from his, curling the fingers of the other through his own.

Everyone had a good side and a bad side. No one deserved a life of solitude and Xero's good side greatly outweighed the other, in her mind.

A sly smile came across her purple lips as she glanced back up at the man. "Anywhere? And how do you wish to warm me if I'm cold?"

It was hard, very hard, to remain in any sour mood when Prisca was so affectionate. Regret soon fled to the back of his mind and the blush was able to return vibrantly to his cheeks. Though now he was more aware of its presence. He would still have to replace that locket...

His soft tail flicked. "Only you My Prisca make me see otherwise." He returned her kiss with that of his own on her forehead. "I admire your persistence."

The advice from his vendor friend suddenly popped into his mind, 'be sure to tell her -all- the time how you feel. Woman like that'. Honestly, he wasn't sure where this man gets his wisdom, or why he listens to him. The man was friendly enough...

"...And you have my love as well." He added with a warm smile before pecking her on the forehead again.

Xero looked up at the white covered forest and thought a moment. "Well, this body of mine is warm.... I could hold you in an embrace? Or perhaps I could loan you my tail." For whatever reason was covered in fur she seemed to adore when her's was not.

Prisca made another far-too-girlie giggle at the blush that returned so quickly to his cheeks. It seemed no matter how affectionate she was over the past few months of their being together, he could never get past that one quirk of his to go red at even the smallest touch of her. Though now it was no longer a hand on his shoulder from time to time.

Letting go of his hand, she coiled her arm around his, instead, keeping a little distance between his arm and her body. No need to overwhelm the poor man.

"I've told you before. The past doesn't matter if you are no longer as you once were. People and Pokemon alike can change." Purple orbs were watching their path, flicking from left and right to watch the humans go past. "Even if some people are stubborn about not letting go. You hold yourself in check well enough. No one can blame you for being defensive for a reason."

At his peck on her forehead, her cheeks grew warm and she gave another small laugh. His neck words served to do more than that. Prisca almost stopped in her tracks at the boldness coming from him, the redness spreading to the rest of her face.

"You....Don't really have to wait until I'm cold for such a thing."

Xero smiled warmly in response to Prisca's girly giggles. He was still a little unused to the affectionate behavior from her, and he never imagined being fully used to it.

He continued down the sidewalk with Prisca attached to his arm and himself as close as possible (allowing for an easy walk). His tail remained in the classical mewtwo form, curled and slightly raised.

"Yes, I come to realize this daily. I just fear loosing control. My actions in the past were with intent to destroy, revenge and prove I was under no one's control. Currently only few of the actions I regret... but I had control of every action. "

A flock of birds flew overhead catching Xero's attention for a moment. He watched as they flew back over the city. Notably they were one of the few that did not migrate in the winter.

"I will keep that in mind." Xero spoke softly as he smiled. Not while she was expecting it at least.

Something Xero said made the woman laugh, again. To try and stifle it, she raised the hand attached to the dress to her mouth, trying to keep the sound from passing her purple lips. At least this time it wasn't a girlie giggle, of that she was thankful, but he could take offense to her laughing at him when he was being serious. It just gave her too much amusement. It wasn't hard for her to start noticing the affect she had over him. How he always seemed to listen to her like a well trained puppy.

So much for proving no one could control him.

"Good. It's the fault of the individual if they can't forgive." Prisca pulled the thick shawl closer across her chest. It was big, ending well below her hips, and a deep burgundy in color, almost a purple. It was held together at one of her elbows by a little clasp in the shape of a red and white rose. Had she focused much on the language of flowers, she would have found the choice of this very fitting. In the words of flowers, a red and white rose meant 'united.'

If the woman felt any disappointment in not being cuddled at her suggestion. she didn't show it. Instead, she kept her usual soft smile on her full lips, the sun glistening off the shiny gloss of the bottom as she turned her head to give him her purple gaze. "I have been wondering. It's been a while, now. Why haven't you tried to kiss me on your own?"

Xero's brow quirked at Prisca's laugh. He gave her a side-glance but inquired no further into the subject. No doubt there was something he still did not understand about the human ways. As long as she was amused, though it would have been nice to know why she was. The sound of her laughter was enough to overshadow the curiosity or any hard feelings for the action.

They were now past the larger buildings and into the residential houses, before the forest completely took over. It was still covered in snow. The snow was thicker on the roads and sidewalks showing little sign of traffic.

Xero extended his free arm, a light blue aura covered his fingers as some of the snow was forced aside, creating a path that could be easily tread in.

His brow quirked again at her inquiry. The difference between a peck and a kiss was not obvious for him.

"Have I not given you a kiss?"

In response to the demostration of his powers, Prisca raised her other hand to grip Xero in the crook of his elbow, keeping the back of her long skirts off the ground. To the people passing them and in the houses, they must have looked very regal, like they just stepped from a historical romance novel. The ones where the women always walked somewhere on the arm of a gentleman. It made her wonder if anyone would ever use the increasing number of Pokehuman for their own novels and movies. It would be interesting if anyone who saw the two Mewtwo together decided to make a softer adaptation of the story. If she was any good at writing, she would do it herself. As it was, she was only good at doing articles for her magazine. Maybe Xero wouldn't mind being the subject for one of those, some time. It was high time people stopped looking at her species like they expected her to blow up the city.

Prisca gaze the tall man an amused smile in return to the raised eyebrow. She was so used to being around humans, she often forgot how much he didn't yet know.

"In a sense, but not what I mean," she responded, shaking her head so the silver curls bounced. A soft flush was creeping up to her cheeks at the subject change, as her mind wandered to the few times she had kissed him before she could stop herself. Granted, the first time hadn't been very...Magical. If he even remembered. The feel of his full beard on her face hadn't been very pleasant. The way it was now still scratched her, but at least it was a pleasurable experience. "The way I said it means on the lips." Prisca turned her head, feeling a little silly for asking in the first place. She was a full grown woman, but Xero had a way of easily making her feel like a teenager. It annoyed her. But it was hard to stop.

Xero blinked than looked up to the sky. A kiss on the lips? A soft chuckle left his lips as the answer immediately became present in the foreground of his mind.

"Ah, My Prisca, it would not be respectful of me to do such a thing without your permission." Xero's attention returned to Prisca as he spoke.

One of the funner memories from when he was still in the test tube was that of a young man whom had tried to kiss a woman on the lips. He was slapped and never looked at the same afterward. When he had asked Trinity what had happened she explained to him that the young man was nothing but a 'houndoom'. An expression she claimed was not very fitting for a gentleman.

Though times had obviously changed, Xero did not wish to disgrace himself nor his woman in such a way. Some of the new rules of the current times were still quite alien to him.

Prisca made a tutting sound with her tongue, her gaze still on the path in front of them. She had expected as much for an answer from the man. It was easy to forget the times in which he had interacted first with humans. The times had changed so much since then, though she herself kept to the older ways of etiquette herself. She even had her utensils organized, depending on the meal she was having.

"Which is why I love you. Even if your ideals are very different from the way things are done now." Patting his arm, she gave him a smile to show it wasn't bothering her. "Not that I mind. It's refreshing." A sly smile replaced her current one and she looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "So you claim me and assert your claim by using "My", but won't kiss your trophy? You are a strange one, Xero. I'm not going to bite you if I see you lean down."

Prisca's smile was very assuring, enough to where he did not worry that he had said something wrong. There were so many things he did not understand about this time. It was quite different in style, attitude, and values. Not that it was all bad, just odd.

The pat on his arm earned a warm smile. He shook his head slowly to her words.

"I do claim you as mine, My Prisca, but you are no mere possession. You have my utmost respect and I wish to show you that. A trophy indeed, and one I could not be more proud of." He explained as he looked down at his love. "A precious being, a woman, and I still hold to the tradition that you should be treated with care, as you are the most important being in my strange life."

He looked back to the woods ahead of them and watched as a couple of pidgies flew overhead. The canopy of trees above followed the pathway deeper into the woods giving them a slight view of what lay ahead. Even the endless white of the snow could not hide that pat.

"If you should so wish a kiss, I would gladly oblige your desire."

He had always been told the first kiss was the special one, one to remember, and he wanted it to be as such. Only with her permission.

It was Prisca's turn to go beet red. While the man continued on with his speech, she shyly looked away, fluffing up her curls on one side to fall into her face in a vain attempt to hide. Though it was nice, she wasn't used to such attention. She leaned a bit away from him, trying to keep her rapidly beating heart hidden from his knowledge.

"Regardless that I was teasing," Prisca began, turning her gaze back on him, the red on her face still gone beyond her cheeks in her embarrassment and pleasure. "Thank you. I am not no mere woman and wouldn't allow myself to be possessed like an object. Never crossed my mind you would, Xero love." She patted his arm once more, unable to release his arm with both of hers. "You are strange. But I prefer your strangeness. I'm not exactly like the women of today. You fit me perfectly. More men should be half the gentleman you are."

"And I am proud of you, too. Very. For living your life the way you want and not letting your past control you anymore."
Leaning up, she kissed him on the cheek, resting her free hand on his shoulder while the other still circled his arm. Whispering softly, she added," I always wish it. You do not need permission prior to the action. Ever. I may be a lady, but why would I object to my handsome man stealing a kiss?"

Prisca's actions did not go unnoticed in thought or sight. Xero looked at her as she looked and even pulled away from him to fidget with her hair to hide her gorgeous face. The action earned a soft hum of a chuckle, the sound could almost be compared to a purr. Though he could not help but be slightly disappointed she had pulled away. Her heart beat was not bothersome in the least. If fact he rather enjoyed it.

"And I would have you to-" His words were suddenly lost at the peck he received on his cheek. Though it was not the first time he still was rendered speechless for that moment. His cheeks were already a different hue and burning, now they were even more so. A shiver ran up his spine as he turned to Prisca fully.

"As you wish than, my Prisca." He spoke softly as he lightly caressed her cheek with his free hand. Strange how this seemed so much more different than a simple peck. His heart raced even more so as he leaned to give Prisca a very passionate kiss on the lips.
