Personality: Miki is an adventurous type of girl. She enjoys the outdoors and getting a little dirty. She would be the one who would make traps in the forest to catch food. She has a generally short temper, but as the older twin, she feels responsible for taking care of Hana more often than not.

Background: Miki is more of a fan of the “human” version of Kurama, so she had developed fanatical aspirations as soon as she saw him. She loved how he seemed so innocent, yet strong at the same time. He just wanted to tease him all day. Out of the two twins, she is more of the leader and Kurama tracker.

Personality: Hana is a bubbly, if not ditzy girl. She generally goes along with whatever her sister wants to do. One of her top pet peeves is when someone gets her hair dirty, at which point she becomes fairly violent.
Background: Hana is a Youko Kurama fan. She and her sister were normal girls until they saw a video tape of Kurama fighting. Unlike her sister, Hana wasn’t particularly interested in the kitsune until he was forced to change forms. He was so dangerous looking and wild. She instantly began to adore him and fell into a self-destructive bout of unnecessary idol worship.

Personality: Ame is a strategist. She can think of a way out of almost any situation, and devise plans that sound like they would be in a movie. She is a serious type and has this “world domination” feel to her. She is often seen with a poker face type smile so no one knows what she’s thinking. She is also the motherly type out of the triplets.
Background: Ame, like Hana and Miki, found herself in possession of the dark tournament footage. Hana and Miki wanted them to experience “the miracle that is Kurama”. However, she found herself drawn to the adorable friend in black with age defying hair. She didn’t know why, but she just wanted to cuddle him like a plush toy.

Personality: Moko is the most seductive of the trio. Her talents include being sexy and being able to impersonate anyone in terms of their appearance given the proper amount of time and resources. She is able to disguise herself as pretty much anything and can even change her own face with the power of make up. She is usually used as the distraction in Ame’s “operations”.
Background: Ame couldn’t help but zone out every time Hiei popped up on screen without a shirt on. He was so adorably hot that what she wished to do with him could never EVER be said out loud.

Her forte is mainly with computers. She can hack into damn near any kind of program and is able to research and find results on certain topics within minutes.
Background: She is more interested in Hiei because of the Dragon of the Darkness Flame and the Jagan. Granted, she finds his appearance easy on the eyes, but she more or less wants to use him as an observation subject.

Personality: Reserved and quiet, Kame prefers to be alone then with other people. She can have a temper, lashing out when angered and she is often thought to be a hot head. When she cares about someone, she has a hard time expressing it and would rather just let her actions speak for her, since she is terrible with words. She is fiercely loyal when she makes friends, having no problem dying to protect them.
Background: Kame was taken from her family and her clan when she was an infant by a powerful demon who wanted to harness the unique power of her people to become more powerful and to increase his wealth. When she was old enough, Kame discovered that her life was a lie and ran away from the man who had raised her, searching for her people while fighting the demons that he sent after her. Eventually she heard of the tournament and joined in hopes that one of her kin might be there and she can finally go home.

Character's Name: Daniel Cross

Age: 21

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Personality: Daniel generally comes across as harsh, sardonic, and confident in his skills, almost to the point of brash arrogance to most people, however if time and effort is put in to gaining his friendship and trust, He opens up, becoming a bit more laid back, and not as cold, though the arrogance stays, but he's more light hearted with it, often joking about how outstanding his skills are, rather than the usual prideful boasting.

Background: Daniel spent a great deal of his life living in the western U.S.A living a normal life up until the age of 16, when he encountered a strange person, and since that encounter, he'd been noticing changes in the world, people with odd colored eyes, or transparent appendages, tails, horns, fangs, but the strange thing was, only he could see them, none of his friends could, not even the police or his parents. It freaked him out at first, but as another few months passed, he eventually grew used to it, and after a few chance encounters, he learned that these 'people' were actually demons living amongst humans, even some of his friends from school. Nearly a year had passed since he'd come to terms with the fact that he could see demons and apparitions, and Daniel had gone back to his normal life. But, upon coming to his 18th birthday, Daniel was approached by one of his friends, a demon girl that he'd bonded with, she was beaten bloody, and sobbing uncontrollably. When she told him of the humans and the attrocious acts they'd committed, his ever growing power erupted, manifesting itself physically. He spent the next few years training under several powerful psychics and martial arts masters, vowing to get revenge on the ones who'd assaulted her.

Other: Daniel is a tactical fighter, he takes the time to analyze his opponents, and uses his quick working mind to his advantage. His prefered method of attack is manifesting his spirit energy into various weapons, the most common of which are a chain like whip of spirit energy for medium to long range engagement, and a pair of corporeal tonfa for close combat.

Race: Shinigami
Gender: Male
Personality: Typically quite distant and calm, Kiri is often described as being the word 'Mysterious' personified. The irony is that his distant nature stems more from a fear of getting close to people rather than any desire to be alone. This is due to his nature as a shinigami, as he's seen so much death and even people he's cared about die before him. However, at heart, he is a genuinely kind person who wants someone to care about him.
Background: Kiri's past is a bit vague, at best, but he's claimed to have been human before being a shinigami, which may explain his more human appearance. It is implied that he was made into a shinigami after dying, as his soul was not ready to move on for some reason. He has never stated this explicitly, but it can be inferred from what he has told others. It is also clear that he's well trained in the art of combat, specifically ninja-like fighting styles and techniques. How he got tied into the Makai tournament is unclear, but he doesn't seem to object to being here.
Other: As a shinigami, Kiri possesses unique traits to aid him in his duty of taking souls, as well as defending himself from violent souls and beings. Among these abilities is a very distinct offensive attack that manifests as shadowy, indigo scythe blades. These blades form along the edge of his arms and hands in most cases, but can also form along his legs and feet if needed. The blades appear and vanish rather quickly, but make up for it by forming in succession, such as one right behind the other during a slashing move. The most powerful manifestation of this ability takes form as a large scythe with a violet-tinted blade, but to use it, he cannot form the smaller blades as long as he has it formed. He is also far lighter in weight than he appears, even capable of walking on air for a few moments, but is also physically stronger than he looks to make up for his light weight. Shinigami are also typically capable of turning intangible, but he's chosen to abstain from this ability during the tournament as it would be an unfair advantage.

Character's: Name Miyu Kaitero

Race: Cat Demoness
Gender: Female
Personality: Normally friendly, can be shy at times but when she's mad, she either vents to someone or bursts into tears, so she doesn't hurt anyone or break anything,

Background: Miyu was seprated from her parents at birth and raised by a human swordsman and a cat demoness, hence her acting more cat-like then fox-like, with purring meowing, hissing and having the fur on her ears and tail stand up when angered. She's more of a healer but when it comes to protecting her freinds and family, she will fight by using mostly her fangs and claws.

Other: She attacks other, mainly by the usual, punching, kicking, biting, scratching, anything she can think of. She does have a healing method, a blue flame she can summon that somewhat wounds and fractures, although the body will still need some time to heal, it cannot revive the dead, however. She can conjure a read flame that she can use to attack but she doesn't use it as much.

Appearance: Miyu does not look her age. For being 23 she stands at 4' 11'' She has brown eyes and hair about down to the middle of her back sometimes it's put up in a ponytail or cut to shoulder length (See avii. the avii is pretty much how she looks but with the colors in their places.) She has cream colored cat ears with brown as is with her tail. She doesn't dress into anything fancy, just an orange t-shirt, jeans, white socks and shoes.

Race: Human but with powers of a spirit; inugami-mochi
Gender: Female, Inugami spirit is male
Personality: both are polar opposites. Sabine is caring, not one for fighting, and thinks about other teammates. Randi is very calculating, cunning, vicious for fights and sarcastic sometimes.
Background: For thousands of years, the Lavelark family has worshiped the Inugamis like gods and every 5 generations, an Inugami will descend and its spirit will attach to a child in the family's current generation to protect them for their whole life until they die. Because the Inugami-mochi are shunned, Sabine doesn't have very many friends and doesn't see having any for some time. She sometimes talks to Randi in her head and sometimes sees his spirit follow her but others who cannot see him think she is crazy. Her parents died when she was 9 and she lives with her grandparents, whom train her to harness her abilities as an Inugami-mochi.
Other: Her abilities as an Inugami-mochi come mostly from legend but have also been altered due to her training. As a person, her strength is enhanced slightly but her speed and flexibility are even more incredible. As a person, she can summon the spirit to become whole and fight alongside her. And IF the Inugami gets very angry, it can possess Sabine completely and turn her into a large dog that looks like Randi (kinda like a werewolf but no weakness to silver.)

Character's Name: Redacted (Known primarily as Shadow, or Chrome as a running joke)
Age: Unknown, at least 192
Race: Shapeshifter (hides this, see background, masquerades as a generic race of demon)
Gender: N/A, generally tells people he’s male for simplicity’s sake
Personality: Shadow is, under normal circumstances, very skittish. He gets very anxious around large groups of people, and would rather sit on the sidelines and take notes. He is very loyal and will, however, do pretty much whatever Mukuro tells him to do, even if it makes him uncomfortable. He tries to avoid conflict if possible, but will fight when he has to (or if he gets angry, which has been known to happen, relatively a lot. See other for more detail). If he ever encounters another Shapeshifter, he’s very likely to attack them unprovoked (see background). He’s very aware of the cliché parts of his past, and frequently laments over them.
Background: Shadow was born in a village of Shapeshifters. They did many horrible things to him that he doesn’t remember except for brief flashes in his nightmares, and raised him to be a weapon of mass destruction. When word got out about what his clan planned on doing with him, a rival clan came and wiped out the entire village, save for Shadow, who watched the whole thing before fleeing in fear. The rival clan all died in the battle as well, save a single boy around his age. Because of these incidents, Shadow developed an intense hatred for those of the Shapeshifter race. Some time after he ran away, he stumbled (literally) across a section of Mukuro's army that was off on a mission. Mukuro, who was with them at the time, decided to take him in instead of killing him, since she was in one of her rare good moods that day. He quickly rose through the ranks and, because of his abilities, established himself as the head of the Recon squad, and Mukuro’s top spy, and has held that spot for nearly 200 years. He has to be careful, however; Shapeshifters are a highly distrusted race, and the other 76 elite would plausibly turn on him if they found out what he really was.
Other: While he is capable of shapeshifting, he almost never uses that ability, and if he does only in dire circumstances where he has no other option. He tries to distance himself from his Shapeshifter heritage and the things they wanted him to do as much as possible. Because of things in his past, he has a dark side that sometimes comes out when he "snaps". In dark mode, he will try and legitimately kill his opponent, but is generally stopped by something or someone. He's rumored to have a curse on him, but only he and Mukuro know if he actually does. His battle style is heavily music-based.

Appearance: Most times, Shadow will be seen wearing a green double-breasted jacket with dark blue trim and a high collar, a matching skirt (which he is teased endlessly about), and green capri pants under said skirt. He wears short black boots and an eyepatch with a skull over his right eye (which is entirely for decoration, he can see perfectly well with that eye, but he’d feel inaccurate not wearing it). When not actively carrying around his trident, he carries around a large book, if only because he’s uncomfortable not having something he can hide behind.

Background: Kino is an A ranked demon and a wanted criminal. As a change from the normal activites in his life he decided to join this tournament. He is well known for his speed and his ablility to steal just about anything from just about anyone.
Other: Normally Kino is not one for long drawn out battle, he would rather avoid all fighting and just kill the person from behind. Durning a battle he normally charges straight in not careing about what might happen to him.

Background: Katrina was once a simple house wife without any cares in the world. Actually that was all just a cover, in reality Katrina is a world known bounty hunter ready to kill any demon who get in her way. She has join this tournament to find any easy way to get money while she waits to find another bounty.
Other: This woman is the defenition of greed, if it has value she wants it and nobody else can have it. During a battle Katrina like to fool around with her oppenents, she like to see people squirm.

Character's Name: Kiyoshi(Quiet)

Race- water dragon

Gender- male

Personality- He's kind and gentle, always one to help others out any way he can. Even if he's sad, you'll always see a smile on his face, just so he can brighten someone else's day a smidgen brighter. He's usually very reluctant to hurt people, more prone to heal another than be the cause of a wound.

Background- His nest was a happy one, with his mother and father and elder sister. When he was hatched, his family was shocked and worried when he didn't cry out, didn't make a sound, just looked around with curious eyes. They later learned that he was born without the ability to speak, he was a mute. They didn't begrudge him because of it, in fact they adored him even more because of his calm and placid nature. Besides, he managed to get his point across even without the ability to speak, learning how to defend himself and heal. So it went for two hundred years, even after he left the nest, always close by just in case he was needed. Recently, he heard of the tournament starting up again on King Enki's orders, so he decided to see if he was able to help. There would be plenty of people there after all that might have need of a healer.

Other- The tattoos were there since he was born, another oddity within the tribe of water dragons. The colors change with his mood to various colors. Also, since only his family is fluent in his methods of self-expression, he's brought a dry erase board for he can write what he wants to say

Character Name: Tatsuya 龍也(dragon, to be; parents being accidentally ironic)(Better known as the Fox of Flames/Honoo no Kitsune )

Age: 100 years old

Race- Fox/dragon hybrid

Gender- Male

Personality- like all fox demons(even if it's only from his dad), he's pretty vain so it's easy to stroke his ego when it comes to looks. Also, he loves to grab attention, either through flashy entrances(which he has down to an art), stealing your valuables(getting recognition through his trademark), pranks, and just plain out annoying people. Despite that, if he has to be, he can be calm and very civil with those he deals with. Though most of the time he kinda appears to be a complete spaz.

Background- Born of the union of a dragon demon and a fox demon, to say his birth was unconventional would be the understatement of the century. Despite being born from an egg, he appears to be all fox(other than the flames he controls with ease). He was raised harshly, but he didn't mind all that much, found it fun actually. Then, when he turned 20, he set out on his own to make a name for himself. He'd grown up on the legends of the great thief Youko Kurama, so he decided to gain his ticket to fame in the same manner. There was a lot of trial and error, not to mention quite a few close calls, but he gained his fame. Though he isn't as feared as the heartless youko since he didn't callously toss men away like pawns(not that he had any) and isn't nearly as bloody. The first time the tournament came around, he was licking some wounds gained from a heist gone wrong so he couldn't enter. This time though, he vowed he wouldn't miss it, if for anything so he could further tout his name throughout Makai as the new king of thieves!

Other- when on heists he wears a fox mask to protect his face from attacks and gas-based defenses for the(now) few and far between instances he triggers security systems.

Appearance-

humanesque: He's about 6'1", inherited the height from his dragon parent. And, despite the picture having him with silver hair and fur, it's actually jet black.Also, his tail does show despite it not doing so in this picture.


demonesque- He's about the size of a large wolf in this form. Also, he's not constantly on fire, that only happens when he's pissed or using his flames to fight.
