I like Gir but not so i dont pay attention to the other charecters. What i really cant stand is when people say they dont like the show but they love Gir rolleyes

ZimmyDoom Yes, GIR seems to be the most-loved character on the show. Sure, he's funny, as well as entertaining and adorable. But what about the other characters? Some of the characters with the best lines are totally forgotten, pushed aside by all of the GIR fans! Whenever anyone brings up characters now, someone says something like, "Oh ya i liek Grrr. He's beter then zim. he roxx." (Misspellings were intentional right there.) And then, everyone starts to agree, and it all turns into one huge... GIR-worshipping... thing! This happens so often that, as much as I hate to say it, I've started to detest it when people talk about how great GIR is when Invader Zim is mentioned. Maybe even detest GIR. But I really do love GIR! Please don't make me detest him!!! crying Many other characters deserve more fans, too! Like Zim, Dib, Tallest Red, Tallest Purple, Tak, Skoodge, Gaz, Professor Membrane... heck, the list goes on! Just needed to get that out; I'm sorry if I have bothered anyone... sweatdrop

HEY! I like more than just GIR. I happen to like many of the other characters. Especially the skoolkids and their bizarre names. It's my theory that every show, movie or book ever made has something or someone to suck you in and make you obssess over it. The Invader Zim series happens to have GIR. For most people just discovering the show (and yes, dear readers, there are still many of those people out there!), GIR acts as the first taste of the doominess to come (you know, the first taste's free...)
Just a theory me and a fellow Irken obsessor happen to share in our daily contemplation of the topography of our navels.

TheSlayer4387 I agree all the way. I do myself obsess over Gir, but I do obsess over most of the other characters as well. I love the whole show period. I dislike those people who only like Gir, they really ruin it. stare I wish they would come with some more things with Gaz, the Tallest, and the sort. I love their lines from the show. heart yeah, I feel the same.

Phantom_Dark_Theif hey, america LOVES gir and Hates dib! I am going to hate you now. stare And how do you know America hates Dib? I think he's one of the best characters on the show. Yes Gir is funny for his comic relief, but I think the spotlight can be stolen. I am glad that Gaz was able to get her own solo episode, and Zim too. I'll admit, I have plenty Gir pictures, but thats because it's almost all you can find. I can hardly ever find pictures of anyone else unless I really try. Please people, give Gir a rest.

I have seen way to many gir fans. I'm more of a Zim and Dib fan. Gir puts most of the humor but it's the whole conflict of Zim and Dib that really makes me watch it.

Actually, now that I think about it, I am starting to hate Girjust a little bit. He is obnoxious, and annoying. I feel bad for Zim. In fact, I should write a fic where Gir is destroyed forever, just to piss people off.

i love gir but i hate gir groupys. the only reason they like the show is gir and they keep raving on about him.
those stupid gir groupys made me go from liking to hating the doom song. stressed evil

So we all seem to have as many points as the Spike of Judgment. But I have a different question for you all. If America loves GIR and hates Dib, but there are many Dib fans out there...
...whose fans would you be afraid of?
The GIR fans are numerous and many of them act like the deranged 'droid. But the Dib fans are vicious and will kill you if you show disrespect to the most intelligent skoolkid in the Invader ZIM universe (I would say human, but Membrane has this distinction). No matter how you look at it, GIR is what people remember most about Zim, and Dib is one smart ******** kid for his age. How many kids know how to hack in general, let alone hack alien technology? And how many robots can speak of having electric dreams?
It's my conviction that GIR and Dib are the two best characters from the entire series. GIR represents the fun loving nature of mankind, while Dib represents the intelligence of mankind. I think that GIR and Dib are the two sides of a great coin that describes mankind in full detail...
...but then, I'm getting philosophical and punch-drunk...
