Tracking the Beast from Afar; A Tale of the Chalineage. By Corn
Ah, a visitor! Visitors are so rare these days. Do come in, have a seat by the fire - I'm sure it must be cold as death out there. You're welcome to rest and relax here... so long as you don't mind listening to the ramblings of a lonely old crone, aheh, heh. I don't get much chance to talk, so you'll have to forgive me if I ramble...
Oh, no, I really wouldn't recommend going out there again. Do stay - it's for your health. There is something abroad tonight that... well, you'd regret running into, in the time you had left to feel things such as regret. Sit down, dear - I'll tell you about that beast that haunts the night, to keep you here and guard you against its terror.

You see, it all began with a semicustom Dickens. An unsuspecting customer asked a colorist to make them an edited semicustom; they provided three images to start, of rave lights, exotic flowers, and a strange dress being modeled on a runway. If only the customer had known what horrors their request would unlock from that colorist's mind, we might now be free of the terror that resulted from that fateful deal...
THE CHA-CHA-CHA.

Yet even a beast such as this seems to have its wiles and charms. Another dickens was somehow lured near enough to the beast for him to ensnare her, and for them to copulate. I do not know how or why the girl suffered the attentions of the monster, for I was not present at the event. If she went willingly, what drew her to choose the beast? If she did not go willingly, what compelled her cooperation from conception to birth? These questions are deeply troubling to a sound mind. I dwell not on them.
The girl the beast seduced was named Horns. God have mercy on her soul.

The progeny of that union were strange, vile things, that caused the midwife to weep in fear and disgust...

And that is why you must stay indoors this night. The beast abroad is not one to trifle with, nor is his clan and their thralls. It is entirely preferable to stay inside on a night like this.
What's that? What of the colorist who birthed this beast? Why, my dear...
The colorist was me...

Now it is time to give credit where credit is due!
To begin with, you will notice that I linked only to certs in this account of horror beyond human understanding. That is because all of these pets have owners, as strange and repulsive as that may seem! From what I hear, They are generally adored and fawned over, which suggests some form of mind control, perhaps. So, you can imagine that the thralls would be quite upset if you were to, say, attempt to wrest their masters from them...
As well, I must admit that I colored the majority of the beasts you have seen in this tale. It is a shame that I, had I not a duty to warn you all, would take with me to my grave, and be glad of it. However, two others so far have also been called in to perpetuate this terror, and I must tell you that they are called Bombazine and Three Tailed Fox! Bombazine was responsible for both the horror of the first breeding, and for the blessed end of Cha-Cha-Cha's reproductive ability. Without her timely actions, who knows what horrors now would be?
