sky_rider19 currently...nothing. I got snowed in and couldn't make the only prerelease that I could go to.
Bummer, I couldn't go for... 3 reasons;
1.) B-day BBQ that day;
2.) Pokemon Pre-Release same day (I'm a competitive pokemanz player & a casual MTG player)
3.) Need to save money for my trip.
But it's been a while since i was actually interested in going to one of these things, as I still swear by the adage of buy singles not packs. ~

wasn't planning on going but i ended up doing it and glade i did.
got 1 sorin and a foil sorin. thats about it. I then proceeded to sell the two cards before someone was willing to give me two FoW and two lilliana's. I am pretty sure I came out on top of that.
as for the deck i built, I was lucky enough to get invisible stalker with buchers cleaver, 2 gather the townfolk, splashed 1 black for the sorin. took first and cracked the foil sorin.
and then ran some skabs and other bleh cards.
I think innistrads just my lucky block. I havn't gotten so many money cards in any block for a super long time

2 Sorin's is worth well more than 2 Liliana's.
Selling 2 Sorin's is EASILY $100.
Though I don't know what FoW is, so I can't say whether that's really worth it.... but idk.

sorin's value will plummet, I highly doubt it will become a jace rare.
Force of will is a 50-60$ish card. and a legacy staple, and wont be reprinted ever.
and as always, trading standard for legacy cards is always a better deal because legacy cards retain value.
sorin = 50, foil = 120 at the time. total value = 170-ish
2 FoW = 100-120, 2 Liliana = 60. ill value low FoW so 160 total.
I lose out on 10$ but in theory, I gained a more stable investment. Sorin himself has no real purpose besides standard, there are too many other cards that do what sorin does better.
we did this trade knowinly that I came out on top long term. but he is gambling that sorin will become a Jace rare which is plausible.
I would have done this trade for just two FoW but he insisted on making it "even"
.
as far as card utility, I belive lilliana is more valuable then the new sorin.

well, got my box today. I would say I did fairly well with it. Pulled mikeaus 2.0, an additional Gravecrawler, and a geralf Messenger for my zombie deck. Also got Havengul Lich and vornapede. And a couple of the blue zombie related cards. Finally, I was able to pull three tragic slips.Overall I'm fairly happy.

I think your box is pretty good. On the higher end of most boxes I think. I would get ride of voralpede ASAP. I don't think it's value will hold until after rotation. Pick up some legacy staples I think the mono black zombies will be a huge thing. Even just blue black zombies. The bu scars lands got hecka higher. Hope you have them sky XD

unfortunately, I never was able to get those. I will be trying though. And I will be posting my deck soon. (I can't wait to get a grimgrin +gravecrawler combo going!)
Also, gather the townfolks and champion of the parish is AMAZING together. Definitely working on getting it a bit more consistent. That list will probably pop up today or tomorrow.

I don't know...Just because Ayacyn is restored...I still am not sure that everything will be all good for the humans...This is a horror style block and the "savior" actually not doing much saving seems like a twist that would fit this block...

I do believe that humans (which will probubly be white) will be getting a huge boost, I still think that the Gardian of Ayacyn will be an angel planewalker. kinda like Karn in a sense, because sorin gave a "piece of himself to his creation" in that plane to guard it.
mono white is pretty good, it just can't keep up against wolfrun. They deff pushed for token decks to be good though. Maybe a bunch of Angels will pop out and make angels into a deck? Or the savior just got corrupted and sorin needed to fix it.
all speculation though

I doubt Guardian of Avacyn will be a Planeswalker, entirely because the guardian of Avacyn IS Sorin. I also doubt Avacyn will be a planeswalker, but she'll probably be a legendary creature. Maybe a W/B creature. That would be interesting. There was good reason for Karn to be a planeswalker, and that's because he already was in the MTG storyline well before Mirrodin Besieged. Karn was actually one of Urza's creations, and Urza ended up giving his own Planeswalking abilities to Karn. I can't remember why. But, then Karn went to Mirrodin to destroy Memnarch. I can't remember anything else off the top of my head, other than that the Mirari is what created Mirrodin and Memnarch, and that Karn brought it there. Memnarch was Karn's creation to protect the plane. Or something. But yes, he had good reason to become a planeswalker.
There's no story outside of Innistrad to make another "Karn" type planeswalker.
