"I wake up and think that dreams are real...
Ami trailed off once Ezio said "dragon tongue". She was speechless. All of her stories; real. Fairy tales were real!
".... Did... Did you just say-- dragons?"
Not believing her ears, all of Ami's attention and focus was pinned onto Ezio. She was so determined to find out. After all, this could mean more journal entries for Ami.

"Only in my d-dreams."
Ami was surprised. She had suddenly warmed up, throwing off her turtle's shell. For the most part. No matter what, Ami knew she was going to remain shy, but to Ezio, she had already declared him a friend. She bounced her feet up and down a bit, hands down on the bed, by her sides.

Ami nodded slowly, briefly pinching her wrist. Nope, not a dream. Curious to browse the academy, she hopped off the bed.
"Have you seen the rest of the academy?"
Ami asked, ready to dart out the door and look around to her heart's content. All she had seen was her dorm and the cafeteria.

"Well,"
Ami paused, taking a quick thought.
Maybe I shouldn't.
She didn't want to go about the campus alone, and therefore asked Ezio to come along. Ami was nervous. New faces, people, places and things. Her goal was to overachieve her shy-ness and make as many friends as possible.
"I'm gonna go look around. W.. Wanna tag along?"

Ami nodded, looking up at Ezio. She felt a bit nervous to explore, but she knew she would have to face her fears about that one day or another.

Ami slipped off of the bed, putting a slight skip into her step as she made her way over to the door. Her hand wrapped around it, twisting the knob open and turning her head to look at Ezio.
"I- I heard there was ice cream somewhere in town. If you don't have any classes starting today, would you like to walk to the i-ice cream parlor?"

Ami agreed, her hands fumbling around in her tote bag. She pulled out two dollar bills, crisp and new. She opened the door carefully, walking out and holding the door for him as well. A weak smile laid across her face, Ami's hand clinging onto the money as if she had the claws of a crab, making her way out of the dormitory and proceeding to the ice cream parlor.
