Dia De Los Muertos (Day of th e Dead) !!!
(( Those who don't know what or celebrate dia de los muertos,it is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration takes place on November 1 and 2, in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts.)) Sharing a little history of my culture with you biggrin

OMG Announcement
First off I would like to apologize for skipping around in my activity. There is sooooooooo much going on its not even funny. And also to our dear captain for not calling like I said I was going to. As posted there's a lot happening. Good and bad alike.
Secondly, and I feel more importantly, one of the reasons I have been away as of late is that in October I finally was able to be reunited with my high school sweetheart, Jon. We have had, to put it mildly, a roller coaster relationship. He has also been the reason that none of my previous relationships have worked out and major secret factor (shhh) as to why I called off my wedding. Ready to hear the exciting news? Yeah? Yeah? You ready?
WE GOT ENGAGED!
He is currently serving a nine month tour in Afghanistan as he is in the army. But when he gets back in the summer we will be getting married and I will be leaving my warm sunny state if California for the cold snows of New York. I've been wanting share this exciting news with you all for a bit now so here we are. heart
If any of you have any suggestions on how to pass by the time these next months I'm all ears. Planning a wedding is a piece of cake for me. But any ideas for that are welcome as it is a summer wedding. I haven't planned a summer wedding before. Just the other three seasons. mrgreen

My dearest friend Holly. Honestly where do I begin. . . CONGRAT'S HOLLY on your engagement with Jon!!
Please, don't apologize for not calling that evening/night. You know I am very understanding of life's unpredictable changes and situations suddenly thrown in our direction both good and bad. This past year and especially these past couple months has been great getting to know you better. You have been through so much and deserve all this happiness that has now fallen into your lap. I am overwhelmingly excited for you and speechless too. Wow, I can't believe your engaged!!! Yay, Holly! *hugs tight and passes drinks around in celebration to you* We need to meet before you move away to New York but a reason to go out to NY to see you! *hugs* Thank you so much for sharing this exciting new with us. I feel honored. I'm sure those of us who know you are honored!

Talking with Luna the other night she asked me to inform you all that she and her sister, TeenTitans, will be away until after Thanksgiving. So any issues, concerns, or ideas will be managed through the Vice Captain, Lady_Conspiracy, and the crew. Have a great time everyone.

A Black Friday for
Sandy Hook Elementary School ~A very unfortunate event took place in Conneticut, Sandy Hook Elementary School. When a 20yr gunman shot his mother than headed over to the school shooting and murdering 20 children and six adults. ~ I wish to keep the families of the murdered victims in our thoughts and prayers. Especially since this horrific event took place so close to the holidays. A terrible event that should never have took place. School is suppose to be the next safest place to our very own homes. ~Luna (( I apologize if I don't capture all tragic events but I do my best to do so.))

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!!
~ My fellow Lunarians. . .my friends. I am very grateful to have such an awesome crew and rpers in this guild. I am absolutely grateful to those of who have managed to continue to rp with us despite your busy lives. You are the ones WHO keep this guild alive. Those of you who have been absent or away. You are missed and the New Year is the best time for a fresh start to rejoin the fun! So, jump back in the storyline and rp with us again! You are always welcomed back!
~ I am also grateful of getting to know many of you better. I also hope to get to know those of you I have not had the privledge of getting to know yet.

History is Made
Announced today was the first step in the military that I personally have been waiting for for years now! Women FINALLY being able to be in combat. There is still much to be done to get this going and it will not happen over night, but it is getting the ball rolling. I am so happy to this but cautious as well. If you interested in more information about this historic event I will include the link to CNN's page that has the information. Or if you dont want to read all of it you can PM me. Im a big military buff.

St. Patrick's Day Guild Event

St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. Therefore on behalf of the crew and myself. We are hosting a mrgreen St. Patrick's Day Guild Event! mrgreen I shall be posting a fun St. Paddy's Day questionaire after following this one . Of coarse I encourage EVERYONE to participate in our St. Patrick's Day Event fun. Those who ATTEMPT to answer ALL the questions AUTOMATICALLY have a chance to win a prize. Lunarians/friends,
I honestly don't know where to begin. There is something I wish to share with everyone both guild members and friends alike. An unfortunate event is happening to me and my family. It's one of those situations you often hear happening around you. Until the very unlucky ill fated situation comes chasing after you. The very situation you dreaded and prayed your family or friends would never experience.
My family and I are losing our house. My family and I have been living in this house since 1998. This would include my sister and crew Teentitans. Since we're being pushed out of our home. Everything has to be put into storage. Unfortunately we have yet to find a place to live. Luckily we do have family who are willing to welcome us into their homes. Yes, homes. We are splitting due to convience until my parents are able to find a roof for us all to belong under again. This includes our pets (doggies & kitty). My family and I could really use some change in luck and events. So, please send some thoughts and prayers our way. I can't even begin to explain how stressful this situation has been on my family especially my father. Who is very embarressed. I'm scared this situation may strain my family and split us entirely. We are strong but I hope strong enough to with stand this unfortuate event. Therefore I must excuse Teentitans and myself. We will be absent as long as we can stand it. We will find a way online especially to keep ourselves busy and whole in some way through all this craziness. Thank you so much for your attention. Please, mind the crew! Again we will be back asap!
