The Odyssey? Hmm....I remember talking about it in class a long, long time ago. I don't remember reading it. Maybe we were supposed to and I didn't. Who knows....

When you say The Odyssey, do you mean the poem by Homer? Or a book? I'm not good with my literature. I looked up a dictionary definition of 'aegis' and it turned up with things along the lines of 'protection, guardian' and that sort of stuff. I like the word 'aegis'. It sounds cool.

The Odyssey is a poem by Homer. The story takes place about 700 B.C. and is a very famous piece of literature. There are many different translations from it's original language, which I believe was Latin. I'm not 100% sure.
There is not a play... but there is a movie. Maybe that is where you came up with the play idea...

Hmmm...I don't know. Maybe it's because everytime we study about Greek literature it always have something to do with a play. I really can't remember anything except for The Tempest. I guess I just didn't bother reading the The Odyssey 'cuz I don't even know what's it about.

^^ and i think LOGOS translate to logic or something like that right? that's why after LOGOS was gone, so was the complete logic of the story....

Maybe it is Greek. It did take place in Ithaka, Sparta, and Crete. It probably was Greek.
