Ra'Sha returned to his room as soon as he heard Daru tell him there was something waiting for him in his room. "I'll never get to finish that book at this rate.", he thought as he opened the door. He looked around the room and saw a bottle sitting on the desk with a black card attached. He walked in and closed the door, walking over to his desk. The card had "For Ran'Ke" written on it in white ink and beautiful calligraphy. Also next to the bottle was a small, clear crystal disk. When he reached out to grab it, it began to glow. Shortly after, an image of a lithe young woman stands above the disk. She wears a flowing white gown, has long black hair that fades to blonde at the tips, a white silk blindfold covers her eyes as a sweet smile graces her face. She speaks in a soft melodic tone, "Hello Ran'Ke. I recently received a letter from Noxx'Zus back in Bel'tha'go. It's so great to hear my older brother has fulfilled his birthright, though I will mourn Ran'Ku's death as with any other family member. There is something I never told you, when we were very young and mother had arranged for me to go to school in Ba'Hai'Ir, she told me that before I returned, her and father would no longer be there. I didn't understand until I heard what you had done, I was distraught to hear that my own brother could do such a thing but mother later came to me in a vision. She said not to be upset and that it was destiny, and then when I heard that Ran'Ku had set out to conquer the surrounding kingdoms, I finally understood. I have sent you a gift, a bottle of Ba'Hai'Ir Frostberry wine, think of it as a offering of good tiding to the new king of Bel'tha'go. I hope to see you back home soon, brother." Her image smiled before dispersing back into the disk. He looked at the bottle of wine, "Rian'Ka still thinks of me as her brother, after all this time...", he said aloud, his heart choking up at her gift. He sat and opened the bottle, the scent of sweet berries filling the room instantly. Taking a sip, the berry wine cools his throat as he swallows it. "Mmm, I haven't had frostberry wine since the court dinners back when we were children.", he said aloud, getting lost in his memories.

Ra'Sha opened the door to his room, allowing Vas'Kaa to enter first. He followed and closed the door. "Please, have a seat.", Ra'Sha said, gesturing to the chair by his desk. Vas'Kaa shook his head, "I'd prefer to stand, my lord.", Vas'Kaa said, his voice deep. Ra'Sha rolled his eyes and sat in the chair himself, staring at Vas'Kaa, "So. What have you come here to see? To make sure I'm not wreaking havoc like my brother?", he said, sarcasm tinting his words. Vas'Kaa nodded, "Precisely, my lord. You have had a very dark past and we had to be sure that the prophecy born was not another falsehood, like your brother.", he said, standing at attention in the center of the room, "But, judging by your defensive tone you took when I spoke to that girl, I can see that something has indeed changed you.", Vas'Kaa said, his tone lightening. Ra'Sha nodded, "Something has, these people. These people and this school have shown me my true destiny, and has revealed more to me about Ran'Ku and my fate than we ever knew.", Ra'Sha said, pouring a glass of frostberry wine.

Vas'Kaa cleared his throat and looked to Ra'Sha, "So, my lord, when can we expect your return to Bel'tha'go? The people will be thrilled to have a king much like your father, Ran'Nik, again.", he said, placing his right fist over his heart in a salute. Ra'Sha shook his head, "I'm afraid I just can't leave here yet. There is still much I hope to gain here, and these people have grown on me, you see.", Ra'Sha said, sipping his wine. "I will need to have you and Noxx'Zus look over things while I am away. As you did when Ran'Ku was still too young to rule. When the time comes, you can be assured that I will return to rule my people and usher them to the light.", Ra'Sha said. Vas'Kaa closed his eyes and nodded, "As you wish, Lightbringer, my lord.", Vas'Kaa said with a bow, "And apologies for the way I acted upon my arrival, after the way Ran'Ku had changed, I had to be sure.", he said. Ra'Sha stood and walked to the door, "Don't mention it, just apologize to Helen yourself and then all will be forgiven.", he said, opening the door as both of them exited and started down the hall.

”so Helen did go back, and let Tesla out.” Kasumi said and then looked at the guard. ” and you let him out, she was doing better!” Kasumi practically yelled.

Kasumi nodded and followed Ra'Sha.

Vas'Kaa opened the door, carefully helping Ra'Sha to his bed. Two Templars closed the door from out in the hall and stood next to it, one flanking each side of the door. Vas'Kaa laid Ra'Sha on the bed and pulled up the chair from the desk, sitting by the bedside. "My lord? Can you hear me?", he said, placing a hand on Ra'Sha's forehead. Ra'Sha opened his eyes halfway, seeing a blurry image of the guard captain. "I can...", he said raggedly, "I'm...sorry..." Vas'Kaa interrupted with a shake of his head, "There's no reason to be sorry, my lord. There was no predicting that Ran'Ku was still alive. You need not apologize.", Vas'Kaa said.

Ra'Sha coughed, clutching his chest where the scar rests. "We will...speak about this...when I can stand...", Ra'Sha said before passing out from the blinding pain. Vas'Kaa stood and saluted the unconscious Ra'Sha, "Yes, my lord.", he said, his voice filled with sadness. Vas'Kaa walked to the door and shut off the light, exiting after. He gestured to the guards to follow as he started down the hall, guards following close by.
