And they were painthing them there..

I do not have the mind span to paint the..I tried to help them out and failed lol

Ah, thank you. I've only painted for about a year now. Pfft, neither do I and that's my biggest problem overall. I'm almost done with one project though. I got another vehicle and only a few more things to do until I can take a picture and show everyone! surprised

Hey Ruca! Welcome back, how many pts of Chaos did you say you have?
I'll post a few pics of my new 'Nid army once I get them put together and go buy a digital camera. I've got a 'Fex and 8 Hormagaunts done... I still have a Hive Tyrant, 24 Termagaunts and 16 Hormagaunts to put together, gonna take awhile... sweatdrop

I've never had a chance to count them up. And half the time I use different marks of chaos on people as I change it up. I guess I could count it up sometime over the summer when i'm not lazy. xd I know now that I have atleast 500 points with my defiler and Land raider.

500? My 'Fex was 85 pts base and then I added 162 pts of biomorphs to bring him up to 247 pts total, and I plan on adding another two at about that cost, along with three that are under 115 pts and use them as Elites, mmm... Wanton destruction... ^_^

Pfft, Yeah... Land raiders are 250 base and defilers are too. Can't you only have one unless it's a 2000 point game? I thought I read that somewhere in the nid codex... Then again I could just have suicidal marines take out all 3 of your Carnifexes... Hopfully. Plauge banners are lovely things you know...
6" radius and you roll a D6 and the creature takes that many wounds no saves at all. LOL. I've done that... So... Very special when I take out something big with a lot of wounds.

Oooh, defilers are only 150 points... But! The funny thing is I got 10 termies, 1 force commander, 1 librarian, 5 shooty termies, 5 Close combat termies, and one chaplin in termie armor... for 20 bucks roughly with shipping and handling. ^^; I like that deal. Then I'm looking at a dark eldar army... It's going for cheap and has 4 raiders 2 talos and some other vehicle and about 3 squads of warriors, 1 squad of mandrakes, a special character as a HQ and a retutine with a bunch more thingies... going right now for 30-40 bucks with SnH. Lol

Sure you've got ways of insta-killing him, but I'm not going to just haphazardly thorm him at anything, no he'll move behind a wall of gaunts and rippers. Then once he's close enough, he pounces... Well, more of a lumbering trot really. ^^; No, you can have three as they each take up a HS slot. But you can turn them into Elites as long as they are 115 pts or under, and the game is 1500 pts or greater. Good stuff.
Anyway, enough boasting, I got some pics:

The first one below is a pic of my Hormagaunts (8x in front), and Termagaunts (5x in back). The second is a slightly closer shot of my Hormagaunts, while the third is one of my Termagaunts. I don't plan on painting them until I get the Army completed or I get bored of putting them together (yeah, like that's ever going to happen ^_^ ).

Plauge banners... xd I LURVE THEM for any anti-hq I just drop them right down infront of the target and then use banner and... Half the time if the squad SOMEHOW manages to survive I charge with power weapons. My friend gave me kharn the betrayer, and i'm gettting him that Dark eldar army. I hope he likes it, cause... BY HELL NOW HE HAS TO PLAY WH40K. xd I'm trying to find a decent amount of Warhammer bitz for different races or even different games. I need them to convert my men so they look more like my rogue chapter will look like. ^^;
And no need to throw them at me, dame, all my friends tell me I play too defenseively. Unless I use swarm tactics with my marines... But i'm not that stupid to charge into 'nids unless they don't come back... Cause I hate that rule. Especially when me and my friends play, we use the length side of the table and I gave him 1000 extra points as someone let me use their looted basilisk and another defiler... Do you have any thought as to HOW MANY DAMN GAUNTS HE LOST AS A RESULT? I finally did destroy ALL his damn synapse creatures but... My god, that annoys me to no end.

I actually haven't played against Chaos that much, most people prefer 'normal' Marines back home.
Yup, annoyed the hell outa me too when I used to play against them oh so very long ago... It really has been too long since I've sat down (or stood really) and enjoyed a good game of 40k, and Dawn of War doesn't count... ^^;

There was a mod that made it just like the tabletop game, I can't seem to remember it but it was alright... Sometimes a bit too much over powered for the vanilla... CSM HAVE TERMIES TOO crying It's no fair that the CSM termies can't use the hammer though. v.v
Yeah... 32 fricken goyles in a fricken squad... I've seen all of them drop at once... And let me tell you, it'd scare the bejeebus out of me if someone had 3 or so full squads of nothing but that... 32 x 3 + reroll to wound at a 50% chance of hitting... Not to mention them charging afterwards... X.X; that'd really be 'death from above.' LOL.
