Tobi is mandara they had an episode where he almost took off his mask, but sasuke's (amatatsuru) how ever you spell it , almost killed him. If this has something to do with the manga then thats one hell of a twist to change who they already said it was.

I think its just a strand of the real madara's chakra...well thats my theory XD

Perhaps.....Shisui? I mean it's possible. Him or Obito... Or someone different altogether.

Okay, it's Obito. I just had a conversation with my sister that confirmed it.

Reason:
- No one every went back to confirm that Obito had actually died. They just assumed. Also, no one proved his right eye was crushed.
- He could have easily gotten the Mangekyo by seeing Rin die. (if she did die by the second Kyubi attack)
- Kakashi's Mangekyo, gotten from Obito, had the unique ability to create a vortex that sucks anything into an alternate dimension. No one knows where it's sent.
- Tobi has a similar ability in which he pulls them into his mind. (to which Kakashi's MS isn't connected)
- It's logical to assume: Same Sharingan, Same MS, Same unique ability
- He could have lied about actually being able to see.

Therefore. *drumroll*

Obito Uchiha is Tobi!

The motive? That he feels he's been wronged by the world/fate, perhaps?

Or he's trying to create peace so no one has to go through what he did (ie, losing a teacher, friend, and eye because of war).

I know, right?

Izuna. It was implied that he is an Uchiha (even showed of his sharingan) and helped out with the massacre. After the massacre, Itachi told Sasuke that if he is able to get the mangekyo, that would make three members.

It was made to seem like he was Madara (which explains why Tobi was a bit shocked about that last coffin, being the real Madara), but it ended up being a surprise twist.

We found out that the real Madara is dead and has been revived and Tobi is a known liar who mixes some truth as well and why bring up Izuna at all if he isn't really important to story development? So what if Madara had his brother? The only reason would be to say that taking Izuna's eyes was what gave him the eternal mangekyo and that was it unless there was an actual reason to bring him twice then never again. All the other Uchiha is dead and what little glimpse we saw of Tobi's face, he looked pretty old so it would fit.

So far it makes the most sense to me.

Obito is dead. He was crushed and Kakashi said early on that everyone that he cared about is dead, plus he would be around Kakashi's age, about 27 to 30, Tobi seems to be extremely old yet knowledgeable about war, different people from other countries that are either old as well or long dead, etc....I don't think Obito would be quite as knowledge and experienced, plus it doesn't make sense. Why would he randomly start a war? In the flash backs he seemed happen and was willing to risk his life to save others and offered Kakashi his good eye for nothing in exchange. I don't see Tobi being like that.

How would Obito survived being crushed completely on one side? We all saw that happen. Impossible to live.

Tobi isn't really interested in peace, he even admitted to Naruto when they met during the Kage summit arc. Naruto said that though Pain/Nagato went about it the wrong way, he really wanted peace but that Tobi was different didn't really want that and Tobi said that Naruto was right. He even sees Naruto more as a pawn. Tobi seems to be after control more than anything. Izuna lived during the time of war and when it was said that the Uchiha were always fighting.

Can't be Shisui, he wasn't that old and I believe he was confirmed dead though said he was willing to make a sacrifice. The crow that Itachi gave Naruto had one of his eyes.

Also he was in the Mist for awhile for some unknown reason and was the one controlling Yagura. I feel there is a lot more to Izuna, Madara as well as told, what Tobi or "Madara" was doing in the Mist in the first place, the Uchiha massacre, etc....slowly we are learning more until the end.
