Also I almost always get inspired and start writing a poem in my notepad halfway through hearing someone else reading their poem at the open mics so I end up not hearing the ending lol. lol

lait_renverse Evil Twin: I fine it dreadfull that a mother would throw out something her child made. Art is something made that expresses a person. And it shouldn't be judged like that. Keep pushing. You'll get there
Everyone keeps talking about Poe but, I find him rather obscene. Of corse writing isn't really my strong suit anyways- how people can come up with imagry always eludes me
Anyways- what inspires me for my art is the world. I draw from music, my friends, or the homeless lady on the corner. Artistist that have inspired me are Degas, my grandfather, luciole, and noami. My 'rents tend to be rather encouraging as well (even if they do complain about the cose of my art supplies), and my mother even says that it would be okay for me to go to art school <3 It's great you have that support system! Poe was the first person I read that didn't have poems filled with flowery words and made it okay to not have a happy ending. When all the world wants to do is see happy things instead of actually having to look at themselves, they get kind of mad. Art school is a great medium to teach you other techniques which is always great. That's why I love this guild because you get to see others interpertation of everyday life.

dramaartwriting I guess most of my inspiration comes from music. Def Leppard, The Police, Sting, U2, The Cure, etc. Awesome bands! Nightwish is a great inspiratiional band, even though the singer got fired here recently. I wish I had an angel is probably one you heard or Nemo. they are from finland and remind me of a better version of evanescene. The lead singer has an operatic voice nad uses it very well!

I thought I was the only one who liked Nightwish! WOw it's a small world afterall!sorry....I just like it when I find similarites between others intrests and my own.I like the Rasmus too((Kind of off subject, apologies ^^ wink ), I connect their music with Fall, my favourite and most (personally) inspiring seaon. I think it's because I was introduced to them in Fall of my sophemore year....

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the direction I'm heading with my art
Poe is kind of....creepy. The whole murderous monkey through me off but then again...I don't tend to have respect for people that are so aclaimed. Like Shakespear...meh he's okay but not my favorite- I don't see all the fuss. But I havn't read enough Poe to critisize- besides like I said. Poetry is not my foretee.
I really want to go to art school but I'm afraid that if I do then I won't be able to get a good job when I graduate
agreed!

WHo inspires me? I'd say my three music teachers: My Choir Conductor, My Orchestra Conductor, and my private teacher. Out of those I think my private cello/bass teacher inspires me the most because we're so close and we relate well, not to mention her ability to play so many instruments. If we're talking about famous people I'd have to say Yoyoma he plays so beautifully and he keeps calssical music alive not to omit the range of the types of pieces he preforms.

I'd say God inspires me. I strive to write about Him and glorify Him as often as possible. I know not all of you will share my beliefs. I don't expect you to. So let's not get into religion. If you feel so inclined as to do so, take it to PMs.

about acclaimed writers, I only like about four of them. Emily Bronte, Emily Dickenson, Larry Niven (sci-fi), and Shakespeare (though I just sort of love Shakespeare's hitting on philosophical outlooks of a diverse and epic scale

the inspiration to start writing stories came from myself. one day i was very very depressed and i couldnt concentrate on anything. so out of pure boredom i took my dungons and dragons character and wrote a few sentances, before i knew it my first (though its only about a paragraph long) fic had been written. as time went on i wrote more pleased with my work at the time. i would show my mom my fictions and she would give me strange looks as to the content but would tell me she liked it and that my detail was good. over time i began to do text based rp's where the cora from the original fic was the main character and soon her past present and future were developed and that is where i find my inspiration to write my stories
also i read alot and watch a lot of anime, so there comes an occasional fan fic from thoes and well there is the book i have been trying to write for three years now. that i dont accually know where the inspiration came from that, i just kinda started writing it one day and havent stopped yet.
beyond my writing anime in general inspired my drawing and my passion for computers inspired me to take a path that would lead me to my current mentor and computer science teacher. through him i am learning to be a programmer and alot about general computer sience. he is the one who implanted the idea in my head of some day becoming a computer science teacher my self yes the pay is poor but it combines a few of my passions ^^

My inspirations are everything. lol. Life is a major inspiration for me, my friends and their experiences, hearache, Otep (an orator for the band Otep and an AMAZING poet! ((Otep is an anagram of Poet)) ), Amy Lee, my good friend Erin, my memories and past experiences, and of course, my goddesses. Diana, Aradia, and Isis.
Ugh! I hate Nitewish! Tarja was just....*shudders* I'm sorry, but she reminded me of Gollum (LoTR) on crack!!! Evanescence (Amy Lee) is SO much better in my eyes. But, that's just my opinion hence why I made this so small. XP

hm... I have alot of muse's ... my friends, music, reading manga, the occassional movie, etc...
though ALOT of the reason I wanted to try to be a manga artist/writter would be because of the artist/writter Togashi Yoshihiro (Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, Level E, etc) he has alot of really AMAZING (and VERY unique) stories while keeping his stories likable to the public view, and his style ranges from ubber cartoony, to realistic, to "anime"[/rant]
