---Will Power: 10 Sai let his eyes rest on the boy for a moment, a look of amusement passing over his features. "That worm of a man-child? Most definitely." The man barked a laugh, his lips spreading to a wolfish grin as he regarded Haikyo. "Oh yeah, that man has plagued me since he was a child." The tone of Sai's voice betrayed a sense of fondness, his focus wavering for the first time as he allowed himself to enjoy his memories.
"It's a faint memory, that young boy. This was long before my name was something that brought fear... no, this was way back when people were actually to see me. I had been roaming the deserts of the Land of Sand with my nephew when I ran into them for the first time.. This strange little trio. A retired shinobi who was fostering these two orphans... The man noticed me in passing, if I remember correctly he blamed me for the death of someone and swore revenge." The man shook his head, his tongue clicking audibly as he tapped a finger against his temple. "Back than, my Sharingan had been fully activated. It was a short moment that left the man dead before those orphans.. the oldest one attacked me and I gutted him from shoulder to hip, the younger one watched. Some how they both survived... The eldest tracked me down only to be killed by my nephew instead, I believe his name was Novvus.. The younger one however pledged himself to me as a student.
It had been years and the boy had grown up, I didn't recognize him. I accepted him in. He... he poisoned my nephew, poisoned his mind. It was a slow thing and I never learned how he managed to do it. The boy fled from me after learning what I was willing to teach him and stole a large sum of money and rare artifacts I had been collecting. I found him a week later and took his arm as payment but left him to live...
The boy new my style and mannerisms. He disguised himself as me and laid waste to many territories. My brother found him and took one of his eyes as punishment, though to tell you the truth, my brother's goal was that eye not to avenge my name. Either way... he was always some where in the world, either tracking me trying to undermine my plans or else where trying to defile my name." The man took a deep breath, a muscle had begin to bulge from his jaw during his monologue. After a moment he recovered his composure, "It had been some time since I had last found him, I had been traveling alone for many years and I was tired... Very tired. Orasakai age very well, however when certain things happen, we can age very rapidly as well. Believe it or not but I'm well into my fifties.
Regardless, I had returned to my home to rest. To my family home, where my parents were laid to rest... He found me there, somehow. I suppose I wasn't as careful as I should have been." The memory of his assailant, ice encasing his vision, the bite of steal... and a face that was familiar but not right all flickered before his mind's eye.
Sai sighed yet again. Rising to his feet he extended his arms to either side. Soft pops could be heard from his joints, clicking as he stretched his tight muscles. "My son? If I knew where he was, perhaps. And perhaps it is one of the other two, but if it was my son that your father got it from, I will be needing to visit him for a personal talk."
It was in that moment that Sai's head snapped upwards to face the oncoming assault, "s**t.." The word hung in the air as the scene played out. A man had came crashing down from the canopy, his blades poised to decapitate Sai. Sai himself raising his arms in defense, both hands blaring in inglehanded hand seals blaring as he did.
As the man made contact, an expulsion of chakra radiated from Sai causing dust, leaves and other debris to rise into the air and mask the two combatants. He'd given almost everything he had into that attack, and now he had to fight two shinobi when his stamina reserves were less than half of his capacity. "Orasakai Sai. You are wanted for the mass murder of hundreds. And the death of my parents." the man said, slicing his sword through the air before taking a stance, the sword aimed ahead of him and pointed at Sai in a traditional kendo stance.
"Today, I'm taking your head to avenge my family." He prepared himself for another strike.
'Not good...' the man thought, his breathing somewhat labored. 'I need to rest a minute... why didn't he just die?!'

How could he have these strange feelings when their souls interacted--how could he feel so familiar to the man, if he was Sai Orasakai? When Sai stated that he was well into his fifties, Haikyo nodded, not really surprised by it. "Well, that would only make sense, if you are Sai Orasakai. Given the time-line of the tales attributed to your name." He stated, surprised with himself at how much he was just falling into the acceptance of who Sai was...and had no issue sitting beside him, just talking. It was actually quite pleasant. At the end of the talk that they had, however, Haikyo was presented with the answer to everything--though it was something he hoped it would not have come to...he wasn't ready to go back to see his father...but his father was the only one who could truly unveil this mystery. The only one who could honestly say where he had gotten the blade from.
At this moment, Sai's head snapped upward toward the canopy that he had been eyeing earlier, and Haikyo's eyes followed suit. As the man dropped from the trees, he dodged backwards, diving back and rolling as the man fell toward Sai. The attack that was unleashed by the man was fast and precise--his blade was similar to that of the blades that would be used by the samurai of the Iron. As he landed, the exchanged was so fast that Haikyo barely even saw it happening. Sai created an explosion of leaves and dust that was attempting to cover his escape. However, when the dust settled, the man was covered in cuts and bleeding through his clothing. Haikyo was already in a combat stance, but upon seeing the injuries of his friend, his body went rigid. This was serious. However, when Sai made a jest of it--mocking the man and talking about it being an ex-lover, Haikyo had to suppress a bout of laughter.
"No. I like my women with more meat on their bones, and less meat between their legs." Haikyo chided back, though his body was anything buy relaxed--betraying that he was not as held together as he wanted to appear. The man began to speak--a spiel about his vengeance. Seemed like Sai was likely to have quite a few enemies. Especially if someone were to mask themselves as Sai and then commit heinous crimes in his name. Lots of people would be out for his blood, if they didn't know the truth. Haikyo looked over to the ninja that stood there and he took a deep breath. "Any chance that you could just...take your leave? It was a great attempt, but you're outnumbered, and I really don't feel like getting stabbed again today." He stated, heaving a sigh. This was about to get ugly.

---Will Power: 10 Sai nodded his head slowly as the man spoke, his bright blue eyes focusing on him intently. Sai let his arms hang limply before him, the streams of blood coming from alarming but he didn't have time to give them the proper attention. For the time being he would simply need to limit the amount of movements he took so he could prevent further bleeding.
This was all his fault for not taking the danger more seriously. His mind was still sharp but his body was unfortunately not able to keep up like it used. A sigh passed through his lips as another person arrived. This one seemingly brain dead but loyal to a fault. Moving slowly, he reached with both hands behind his body. One hand returned to place something small in his hand before going limp again.
"Sorry to say but I have no intention of paying for any of my sins today. But... I will be needing that dagger back, Haikyo."
Taking a step forward, Sai dashed towards Raijin. He closed the distance within moments.
Throwing himself into his momentum, he threw his right elbow towards the man's solar plexus, his right hand gripping tight the handle of his own dagger. Poising his left hand to reach towards Raijin's Katana, he quickly made to slash at the hand that held the weapon.

The man was dashing towards him with a dagger pulled. Raijin raised his sword to intercept the blade, but was struck in the chest with a hard elbow. The blow disoriented him and he lost concentration. 'Oh no! I let my guard down!' Raijin thought, watching as the blade of the enemy made a slash for his hand. He took a couple of steps back and held his hand, staring straight ahead at Sai. “Terra! You've got this!” he called, and leaped into the trees. He only traveled a few trunks in before he tried to duck into a particularly bushy set of leaves on a series of branches. In doing so, the branches shook and he grimaced. 'Dammit! ---Will Power: 10 Sai let his eyes fall to the weapon in his hand. Turning the blade over he examined it's edge and judged it's weight. Returning the dagger to it's sheath, he pulled off the bloodied remains of his shirt. Placing the blade of the katana through the neck of his shirt, he wrapped the cloth tight around the metal before tying the arms together as a sling to slip his head through, making himself a quick makeshift sheath for the blade.
"Dagger. Now." The tone was cold as ice as he turned his attention to Haikyo, there was little in his demeanor that suggested this was up for discussion. With a few steps he strode towards Haikyo and the girl. "I'll handle her. He's over there in the bushes playing with himself, go entertain him.." With a nod, he gestured towards where Raijin was hiding, it would only take a casual look to find the assassin now that his location had been revealed.
Sai's eyes fell upon the girl standing in a boxing stance before him, a brow raising. "I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have no idea what you're involving yourself in." His eyes dropped the ground, measuring the distance between them. He took a casual step back and to the right. "No idea who you're dealing with either, hm..." He took another step to the right, his eyes focused on the ground. "Perhaps you should before you leap..." He hoped to one leg a little further to the right, making sure to keep the girl in front of him as he did. "My suggestion to you is to drop all your weapons, money and food... and leave to mourn the death of your friend." One last hop to the right and Sai brought his foot back down, his head lifting to give the girl a wolfish grin. "Or stay and you can be reunited in the next life. But I've been there, gotta say it's not the most pleasant place for the weak."

As the woman landed and said her piece, Sai mentioned that he would not be paying for his past transgressions, and he asked for Haikyo to relinquish the dagger to him. But, before Haikyo had time, Sai made his move, and the man darted forward with his own dagger, slashing it down at the man's wrist, cutting him deeply and causing him to drop the weapon he had been holding. The man immediately took a few steps back and looked at the woman who had come to help him, telling her that she had it and running away. He withdrew into the foliage of the forest, and Haikyo strained to find where he had gone, but right away, Sai spoke up, pointing exactly where the man had decided to hide. At this point he also commanded that Haikyo hand the dagger over immediately. Haikyo took a few quick steps toward him and placed the dagger down in his hand. "For now, Sai. But, until proven yours, it is still my property." He stated with a sharp nod.
At that point Haikyo took a couple steps back away from Sai and toward the man in the bushes, though staying within their little clearing area. He took a deep breath, his hands collapsing into multiple hand seals before closing on the final one. Soul Energy began to drift off of his body like smoke, a light veil of the soul energy mist. This mist then began to circle around his limbs, instead of drifting up and away, turning faster and faster until the pale green energy was ripping around Haikyo's arms and legs like a whirlwind. He had only just learned how to control and summon his soul's energy, while he had been training with Juugou. This was a skill he had only hoped could work with what little he knew about his own combat abilities. So far...it seemed like it just might.
With the ravaging winds around his limbs, he dashed forward, directly for the location in which the injured man, Raijin was hiding. As soon as he was within range of the man, he prepared himself even further, landing a few feet away from him and suddenly pushing an extra surge of chakra to mix with his soul energy. The whirlwind around his arms and legs grew in brightness and ferocity, and as soon as he felt like the energies had charged, he pushed forward, launching a strike at the man's collar bone, followed by a flurry of blows towards his chest and injured arm's shoulder. The strikes were aimed to push the soul energy from the Storm of Souls into the man's body, overloading the muscle capacity and causing the muscles to burst from their own increased energy levels.
