Cottage by the water, not much to brag about.

One-room cottage. Outside is long, green grass, piles of cut logs, a stump, a wood-cutters axe, a pathway to the door and down the slight hill the house sits on, fishing poles, a few trees, a blue food dish that reads "LALI" in white letters, a wooden chair, a workbench, and the water's nearby.

Inside the cottage is a bed, a rug for Lali on the floor by the bed, a window, a small desk and chair by the window, a tackle box and several fishing poles, a fireplace, a small dining table and chair, a water dish by the table, and a couple of lanterns attached to the wall. The entire cottage seems to be coated in a light layer of dust...

history

Lali doesn't remember anything about her parents or family, or how she came to be with her master. She just knows that she's always been with him and that he takes care of her, so she does her best to take care of him and scrape up the best pearls she can dive for.

Her puppyhood was a hyper one, and she's only just recently reached adulthood, but she's calmed down a lot since then.

history

When he was much younger, before he was married, he used to fight Mokai for a living. He fought them up until he was married. Feeling slightly more obligated to make more money, Jet got into illegal fighting. One of the fights his Mokai was in went bad and he almost lost his eye as a result. His prized fighter also died. He stopped fighting after that, and took up other trades to raise money. His jobs didn't pay as much as the fights, but he could earn a modest living for himself and his wife. She was never fully happy, though.

They had one daughter together. Things didn't work out with his wife (happened a long time ago). His daughter stayed with him for much of her life, but died of an illness in her late teens. Several years later, Jet found a Pearl Diver puppy and took her in. He planned to sell her once he helped get her strength back, but ended up keeping her. She's helped soften him up a bit and break down some barriers he built up a long time ago.
