[= _=;; Dipping. Not dropping. Off by two letters.]
He laughed and pulled her back up before letting go. Damn he had been so close. So very clo--
The sun had finally set and he doubled over in pain. "********." He growled out. He had officially ruined his chance with this lovely lady. And he had no time to get away and hide.
"See? That is why you should have been keeping an eye on the sky instead of those eyes of hers." Said a soft voice from the other side of the fence.
"Shut your mother ******** face a** licker." He screamed at the unknown voice as he slowly turned back into the monster he was cursed to be.

Nadya stared curiously at the transformation and the man before her before pulling out a sheet of paper. Sure enough, the creature was one of the imps. She had been flirting with the graveyard imp. The sudden realizatiOn hit her, that if she had said yes, she would have been attached to him forever. Even if she hadn't meant it, she would have been attached. Her red eyes crawled up from Doru and towards where the voice had come from. The church...? But that meant....
"Come out," she demanded, eyes narrowing to pick out a figure.

A man with pure white wings and hair equally as white, and blue eyes came into view as he leaned up against the picket fence. He sighed as he saw the anger in her eyes. "I guess i should apologize for him. He is a bit of a dim wit. "

The first thought that came to her mind was that she was staring at an angel. And it was that sheer astonishment that melted the anger off her face instantly. How beautiful, such a lovely face, and a voice just as melodic as a harp. Nadya could not help but tape for a second until his voice replayed in her head and his words cut through her haze. She shook her head and smiled back at Doru.
"On the contrary, I find him quite intriguing," she looked back to the angel and smiled, "Mught you be his brother? The village talks adamantly about two imps that live in this area, as different as day and night, but both empty from a love long lost."

"Actually we were cursed. We tried to bring her back. It failed and a beast came along and cursed us this way till we could find another and move on with our lives. But we can not tell a person this. Even if they do fall in love it is null and void because they know. A sob story can sway the human mind and heart." The angel like man sighed whisfully.
The demon like one on the other hand snorted. "Yeah well you forgot to ******** mention that only one of us can be released. The other get's damned to rot in this place."
"Yes. Well with an attitude like yours I think it seems well deserved don't you think?"

Nadya's eyebrows knit together from sympathy and confusion. The two were cursed humans? That's it? There was no way you could kill them for the reward now, not when she knew they were like this due to love and the pain of loss. It would be unlike her, very against her morals. She smiled sadly at how lucky the woman had been to have two men love her so much, sincerely, she was almost jealous.
"Good sir, you have just told me, does that not mean I am now exempt from helping either of you?"

"It depends. You yourself can not release us from our bonds." He said sadly. "Such a shame too. You are quite charming."
"Back off a*****e she WAS mine."
"Key term there: Was."
"And whose ******** fault do you think that is?"

Nadya frowned, red lips pressed in a tight line at the thought of being unable to help them. Either of them. She glanced at Doru and frowned even deeper. Such a delightful person forever doomed. Her eyes flashed to the angelic one and sighed as well. Two delightful people doomed forever. She leaned against the fence, crossing her legs so the slits in her skirt exposed up to her thighs.
"Quite the conundrum. Truly I wish I could help."

Doru looked down at himself. The beast lady had said that their apperences reflected their personality. He he really been this ugly on the inside? That was probably why his brother had been picked. He sulked off to go hide in the Mausoleum he had made his home. His brother got to sleep in a nice little church...life sucked.
Alin watched his brother go. "The only way you could help us is by getting the beast that did this to us to let go of the curse...or at least some of it. What i wouldn't give to go see the world again."

Nadya watched the figure skulk off, staring thoughtfully before looking back around. To be confined to one area for so long, the must be restless and near desperate. If she had simply said yes to Doru, would the man have been freed from his curse? Her heart sank lower and lower with each thought. Finally, she looked to the angel, determination set in her fiery red eyes.
"Where is it? I'll find the beast."

"No clue. She left after she cursed us to our respective spots. I think she lives up in those mountains over there though. Seems like where she was headed. And what better place to hide than in the mountains?"

She nodded slowly, looking up to the sky wistfully. It looked like rain again. Pity, she probably wouldn't make it back to the town before it started pouring. Nadya ran her hands through the long red locks, thinking quietly. No leads sans the mountains. And they were so vast. It would take days to search just one, maybe months for all if them. No way she had enouh money to pay for months of supplies.
"My, that is quite unlucky. How do I go about this?" she mused, looking at the clouds.

"You stay out of this awful weather and come inside the church before you catch a cold. I will not hurt you. I promise." He opened a tiny gate and stepped aside to allow her through. "I'm sure you wouldn't want to sleep in a grave yard tonight."

She stared at him for awhile, contemplating whether shed rather sleep in a warm church with someone she did not know, or attempt to find Doru whom she knew already, and sleep in a cold graveyard. Comfort or company? The angel did not seem bad, and he might be just as kind, but she felt as though it would insult the other guardian. Well, no matter who she chose, she was going to offend someone.....Nadya rubbed her face and nodded, walking through the gate. She'd make it up to Doru, she promised ad Thr first drop hit her shoulder, she would definitely make it up.
"Thank you, sir." she muttered.
