I just don't care for Edain McCoy. I've never been able to get through one of her books. I think it was this one that really did me in.

The only book of McCoy's I have is "Advanced Witchcraft". Not advanced. Not even all that much witchcraft. Essentially ENP-101.
I was at a point where I was desperate for a "next step" in ENP, to take it further, and so I was really pissed off. stare

I just got done reading her information on Oshun. stressed I don't even know where to begin- apparently beauty for Oshun is characterized by hairstyles common to young white Victorian girls.
She forgot to mention that there are different Ezurlie's- and that the ones most responsible for love at the end of their ritual scream, and cry and other things.
WTF.

Morgandria Scathach wasn't a goddess. She was a warrior woman of great skill, from the Isle of Skye. Why am I not surprised that Scathach wasn't a goddess? I really hate the book's definition of a goddess. I feel like we should go through and list who is and who isn't a goddess that she says is.

PersianPapiiChulo In one of the later books, I think Hunted, Zoey vists Skye to learn from the Warrior Queen Sgiach who has an affinity for the entire island. I've read Hunted and she was still in Tulsa the whole time. So it has to be later than that. At least I think. Its been a while since I read them and I stopped in the beginning of Tempted. I read the first couple chapters than lost interest and returned it to the library.
