In this trivial world
It's alright to be hurt, oh...

Katsuo walked silently among the hundreds of cages, glancing appraisingly at each of them before moving on to the next one. He was loving for something special, something that would attract his strict, meticulous lady, something that would be able to withstand her tortures and bloodthirst, the violence that would last into the night.

And in these times of violence he would always be there, watching, doing his lady's bidding as she pulled the strings... he had to. He had no choice, because she owned him, she controlled him, she was inside of him...

Deep in his heart he wanted to scream. He wanted to scream so badly, call out for help, run away, do something, even dying would be better than living out an eternity like this... but there was no escape. He had tried before, so many times, and each time, the punishment had gotten a little worse. He had experienced pain that no Human being could ever have experienced and survived. Which made him no longer Human. But he wasn't dead, he knew this because... because... because he could still feel the pain. Ghosts didn't feel pain.

Or did they?

Finally Katsuo saw him again, the young thing that he had mentioned to his mistress the previous night. He tried not to think about the invasion of his person that had followed afterward - such abuse should have been nothing to him by now. After all, how long had he been under her control? The years meant nothing to him anymore, he was just as much a ghost as she was to Old Father Time.

He walked up to the bars where the boy was playing with some rudimentary items of no value at all. "You're coming with me," he informed Tora bluntly. After all, there was nothing else to be said, was there? He walked over to the marketplace over, paid the man the amount that was owed him, and then stood aside as the guards unlocked the cage and removed the boy from his confinement, passing him into Katsuo's custody.
