I didn't get to participate in meebo as much as I would have liked,
but during my time chatting, I had some really good laughs. xDD

LilChibiusa I don't know about you guys, but the idle waiting is killing me! xp I feel like I need to be doing something, especially after being so busy with the ball these past few days. Thank God I'm not the only one. I'm happy that I got to run stuff this year, and I really want to start running stuff again. Not gonna lie. I really wanna be a bossy person again XD It's so much fun! If I can get a Host role, or lead a committee, I'll be content with life. I'll be happy if I can just be involved and active and helping out! "Let's get this party started!" The meebo rooms made me crack up. You should have seen us in the Lust meebo room, though. I mean, you think we were perverted in the main room? Hardly! XD

You had a meebo room for Lust? We had one for Sloth too! We never got perverted, but we did get off topic a ton, usually talking about something funny. Many laughs! xd I'm almost afraid to find out what you guys were talking about. I think we covered rape, *****, smut, etc in the main meebo room. blaugh

@Poyudi - I think that's why I made this thread also. I just felt like I had to be active and chatting with everyone with the ball about something other than possible themes. I like the classic literature idea myself, but that's probably just because I have an English degree. lol

Strangely enough, the ones from Subway are my favorite of all the ones I've ever had. Of course, they're not diet friendly (I already lost 30 pounds in preparation for teaching in Japan, and I plan to lose more), but they're so yummy! whee
Now that we have a main host, I suddenly feel like this ball has more life to it. biggrin

WOAH. You're teaching in Japan? That sounds so cool. That's my dream.

And Epcot, no it is not weird. Lion King is a movie about the circle of life and as we begin planning the 10th ball, a new life begins... Okay, that doesn't make any sense. But still, it isn't weird. C:

And Epcot, no it is not weird. Lion King is a movie about the circle of life and as we begin planning the 10th ball, a new life begins... Okay, that doesn't make any sense. But still, it isn't weird. C: I have to say though that the broadway musical is alot better than the movie though. I am listening to that soundtrack right now. Yes I am a big disney fan. If you look at my movie collection a little over 50% is Disney, my music collection on itunes is over 90% Disney records or beuna vista records. I am a member of alot of Disney Websites, etc....I am looking at doing the Disney College Program in the spring and then the fall 2012. So yes call me a Disney geek.

LilChibiusa My favorite memory from the meebo room was when the cast of the Sloth and Wrath rooms were talking and laughing until the wee hours of the morning, closing our stories, and making general fools of ourselves! Totally! "Cheeeeeeeeeese!" And we all got cheesier and more giggly as Sunday night progressed. rofl And I totally love cheesy happy endings. mrgreen Oh, and don't throw rotten vegetables at me for saying this, but The Lion King 1 1/2 is actually my favorite Lion King movie, probably because the "canon" ones are so serious and 1 1/2 is so off-the-wall silly!

C: I'm applying, but I won't know if I've made it into the program until April. In the meantime, I'm doing everything possible to improve my chances of getting accepted. It's a very very long application process, but it will be worth it if I make it in. I'm hoping that the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear radiation will severely diminish the list of applicants, making my chances of getting in a lot better. it's a VERY competitive program. I have just about every single Disney movie made before 1995, all of which are on VHS. I just haven't bothered to buy any of the new ones, though I have seen all of the recent Disney animated movies. (recent meaning after 1995)

My cousin taught in Japan and she ended up staying their past the program, kept on by the school, and now she lives there. She learned some sort of martial art (can't remember the name) and I remember her telling me a story of going to a tournament to get her next belt, and she could hear the competitors talking about her (because she's fluent) and they laughed at the "little white girl who thought she was Japanese."
Then she proceeded to win the tournament.
I hope you get to go!
