Loz walked in through the door running her hand though his hair, he had had a bad night's sleep and on top of that had to train for the whole of the day.

He picked up a plate and placed a few sweet thing on it, he looked round the room, noting two girls sitting chatting, a young girl enjoying her tea with quite a bit of enjoyment, which made Loz quirk an eye.

"I think I need a bit less noise" her wondered towards the open field and sat down on the grass placing the plate by his side.

It was at this point he saw a very attractive Elf women sitting not far from him, Loz smiled at her warmly and bowed his head gently.

Shillan too only bowed her head and smiled in greeting of the blue-haired man, chiefly because she was a mostly reticent person herself, but also because she vaguely felt he was not in the mood for chatter.

((Sorry, I'm going through writer's block right now; can't think of any words to say >.<))

So many more people had arrived! It was quite wonderful. Mimi sipped her warm tea and felt herself growing more comfortable. There were two women talking, and another man had just appeared. They were almost like fantasy creatures, Mimi could hardly believe it! It was just so... unreal! It was just like one of her storybooks. She refilled her teacup again, giggling as a bit of flower dust tickled her nose, then stood up, taking the cup with her.

She headed down to the lake and found a rock. In the distance, mermaids were waving to her as she sat upon it, sipping her tea and enjoying life. How she would love to have a companion now! Someone to share this with would be wonderful. But everyone else was so engrossed in their own issues... for now, Mimi was quite content just sitting and relaxing and breathing and living and smiling in this magical place that was... where, exactly? Hm... did it really matter~?

Loz looked over his shoulder at the young girl with blond hair as she giggled. A soft smile crept onto his face as her turned back to the view of the lake.

He breathed deeply.
"Such peace is blissful..." He said gently, he had quite an earth voice, finally the stress of the day was melting away and his headache with it.

As the young girl with blond hair went down to the lake to watch the mermaid jump to greet her, he leaned forward to rest an arm on his knee.

"Young ones are such fun to watch" she said glancing over towards the Elf women, smile with a subtle warmth.

Yukari placed the book on the table and smiled as a young Blond hair girl arrived.

"Humm, oh yes." She smiled happily at Tianna "This is the booking I was saying about, I'm not sure how much of it will be of use to us but..." she shrugged. "Always good to read up on these things."

She sipped at her tea some more, it was cool and the flavour was just right.
Lifting her flower-cup once more her eyes couldn't help but follow the the young girl as she ran down to the waters edge.

"Well, I guess so. Couldn't hurt to read it and see if anything can be of use. I have a few classes tomorrow but I'll be finished by early afternoon." Tianna smiled.

Yukari had been a good friend the past year, Tianna at first hadn't been sure if she would get along with her new room mate, but thankfully Yukari was fresh like a summer breeze.

"Honey tea please." Tianna said poring another cup of tea, the sweet smelling honey coloured liquid fell into the flower-cup.
Then looking up at Yukari followed her friend gaze to a young girl playing down by the water.

"I hope your not planning on playing with her..." Tianna said with a slight jest in her voice.

Smiling at her friends words, Tianna knew her well, Yukari was a warm hared person and like to see and make others happy.

Sipping her tea she closed her eyes and on lowering her cup she moved her fingers in a spiral.

Down beside the young girl a vine grow and blossomed into a bush of white flowers, as each flower opened small fire flies danced out and flouted about the edge of the water dancing over the ripples from the mermaids.

"I couldn't help myself." said said with a light warm smile. "As for tomorrow that sounds fine, we can meet here again and work on anything we find between now and then."

Yukari got up from the table and waked over to the table and picked up a slice of sponge cake and returned to the table.

Mimi squeaked as one of the mermaids splashed her gently with water. She shook her head and a flurry of raindrops cascaded to the ground. She waved as the creatures departed, and smiled happily as she finished the rest of her tea. She began to look around for something else to do when she noticed something growing beside her. A... flower bush? How wonderful!

Leaning curiously over the edge of the rock, she clambered down onto the grass and watched as it grew bigger and bigger, filled to the brim with beautiful white flowers. She bent down to smell one, and just as she did, a burst of fireflies erupted from the petals!

"Whaaaa!!!"
she exclaimed, falling backwards into the grass as they surrounded her before darting off every which way. Mimi laughed and got up to chase them.

"Wheee~!"
she cried joyfully as she ran after them, occasionally falling to the ground with a loud oomph and scrambling up again, bubbling over with childish happiness. She laughed as she ran across the meadow and followed them down to the edge of the water, where she slipped and fell face first into the shallow waves. Sitting up, a dazed expression on her face, she shook her head quickly and began to convulse with giggles, gripping her stomach as she fell backwards into the sand, the fireflies chasing around her head like stars.

Mimi was very happy.

Shillan watched the little girl with a smile and as she watched the play, a sense of wonder and nostalgia welled up in her. Abruptly she noticed that the man was speaking to her and turned to face him. "Agreed," she murmured back as a simple response to both statements.

She turned back to the girl with pigtails in time to see her spring up and chase the fireflies. Letting her mind-spirit drift a little, she tried to grasp this idea of mindless "fun" and "peace". "It is a great great misfortune you could not experience such things in your own youth; I can't imagine feeling through other people." she remembered Queen Andromeda saying before to her.

"Living through other people..." she murmured, picking another cookie off her plate. More audibly she said to her companion, "She's an adorable one, isn't she?"

Her head spinning from laughing so much, Mimi sat up, gasping for air. The fireflies were floating gently on the water, and Mimi crawled forward on her hands and knees, scooping one up in her palm. The creature didn't fly away, but instead fluttered its wings softly as Mimi gazed at it in wonder. The sky offered a subtle orange glow as she set it back down upon the gentle waves and watched it skid over to join its friends. Her stomach growled, and she stood, realizing that she was incredibly hungry.

She hurried back over to the rock and reached up, plucking her teacup from where it was still sitting there and hurrying over to the table that seemed to be completely hidden by delicious cakes. She approached it hesitantly, seeing that there was another woman there, and, being that she was just a short little girl, peeked over the edge of the tablecloth at the woman before grabbing a pink cupcake and scurrying back to her table.

She sat, swinging her legs back and forth as she nibbled on the sweet frosting and looked at the two strange people, the man with the white hair and the beautiful lady that looked like a warrior elf. She was so beautiful... aware that she was staring, Mimi quickly looked away, her face turning as red as the roses she painted on her bedroom wall when her father went away on his trips and left her all alone...

Looking back at the young girl, running around after fireflies, falling in the water and then dashing about, he could help but let a light chuckle out.

"Aaaah, that she is." Loz smiled gently watching the young girl run past to the table with food, tipping his head back over his shoulder, he winked at the young girl as she shyly looked away from the elf.

Loz chuckled again as the girl blushed, "Kinda makes me want to pick her up and cuddle her." still with that joyful feeling he turned back to the landscape stretching out. He picked up the last of his sweet bits and placed it in his mouth letting the sugar melt slowly and then finishing it up.

He lead forwards again resting both arm on his knees, his long gray/blue hair catching in the light breeze that blow around him. His mind wondered over the water dancing with the fireflies.

Loz found his though's recalling times of his youth, his was no of rigid training, and his fun was not as innocent as this young girls was here. The only true peace he had found was listening to his younger brother play the violin. Always without him knowing.

He smiled again, this time with a real soft warmth that could not be put on by anyone, unless it was from the heart.

Shillan glanced back at the man, and for a moment detected a faint sense of peace. Judging by his expression, the psychic determined he was recalling events of times past; given the context, something like the fun this youngling was having. But there was a familiar overtone on the emotion coming from him, something that felt too close to her own.

When he smiled, Shillan smiled a little as well, thinking of a few moments in her past that had made her smile. "Nostalgia?" she guessed. "What did you do for fun when you were younger?"

Loz tilted his head to look over at the elf women and smiled at her.

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me your's" he smiled again.

Loz turned back towards the water and sighed deeply. "Fun...Humm let me think about that." he said smiling softly and holding his hands out together.

"Depends on what sort of fun... I had enjoyment sneaking around with friends from school, dodging classes from time to time. Had little time for that at home."
His thoughts lingered on those days, they were fun, but... he could remember how arrogant he was. A part of him was still a bit that way, but it had dwindled with time.

He fell silent and quite for a sort time. Then spoke quietly as if whispering a secret to a friend.
"Though watching my younger brother to be able to play music without having to endure my families... expectations."

PostPosted: Tue Sep 06, 2011 7:46 pm

Shillan's expression softened with empathy at the blue-haired man's stories.

"So you're a musician?" she murmured softly. Family expectations. That was something she could relate to. Storing his words away for future dwelling, she went on after a few minutes to complete her end of the deal.

"I don't know how to define fun either," she admitted slowly, her voice held low but audible. "Fun. Climbing trees and walls... reading..." she trailed off.

A little later her expression suddenly turned down in a pensive little frown. "I had a friend who was mute. I couldn't get away from training a lot, so she'd just stand at the gate and draw stuff to show me later. She..." Shillan smiled, remembering some of the comics her friend had drawing. " She made life a little better."

He smiled at the women's comment about him being a musician.
"Sadly dear lady I am no musician. That is something that I could never have the pleasure to be. I mealy have joy in listening to my young brother play."

But he couldn't help but smile softly as he watched his elf companion, drift into her memories, even her frown seemed like a reflection of the empathy felt between their two childhood stories.

"One thing I have come to realise, it is those that are called 'disadvantaged' that in truth are the 'gifted ones'. Those with 'talent' thus need those that are 'disadvantaged' to truly have a chance to live. Well that is what I feel. Knowing my brother wouldn't have the hardship or the harsh gaze, gave me strength to train harder, push myself more, to allow him the chance to life his life the way he want's to."

Loz's voice became deeper as he spoke not just from the heart but also with strength and passion. A maturity came over him. For although he looked in his twenties he was much older. As he was sure the elf women was older then she appeared.
