Dang...Kitten...I know how that feels!!!
All too well.
A lot of the times I know what I do for those who matter to me doesn't affect them much.
...but if I didn't do anything for them I wouldn't feel anything myself.

I'm sorry to say this, but I'm going to be taking out 2-3 months to work on things that I feel I've been holding off for too long of a time.

I haven't known you all for too long but I will miss you for the time I'm gone none-the-less.

Bah.
Okay. I'm a licensed massage therapist.
I spent 3 years in school getting an Associates in Applied Science and training for my massage board exam.
What am I doing with my life?
Working 7:30am - 4:30pm with an unpaid hour lunch break at $7.50 an hour at a daycare, trying not to drive myself crazy with 3, 4, and 5 year olds. (The four year old class's teacher quit/got fired awhile ago so they blended the classes. Which sucks, because 4 kids just moved up into the class from the toddler room.)
As much as I make a month, I spend on rent, food, electricity, health insurance and internet.
My parents are still paying for my car insurance and gas, bless their souls.
Entertainment, doctor visit copays, medicine, clothes, etc... slowly depletes my savings.
Grarr.
And I want the Canon Digital Rebel. 8.0 megapixels, changeable lenses, something like a 12x optical zoom and just.. so.. damn... pretty.
600 bucks, minimum. Up to 800.
Lenses start around 100 bucks a pop.

A single ******** piece of paper.
Seriously.
I need to get my DBA filled out (doing business as) so I can properly file taxes for any money I make from doing massage.
I have all my licensing taken care of, I have a permit for a location to work from...
but I filled out the DBA, couldn't find a place to get it notarized during hours that weren't 9-5 M-F (y'know, 'cuz I'm a working stiff) .. and then lost the paper. sweatdrop
Idiot, I tell you.
There's no point to the story except that I'm frustrated.
And I need to get a job at a public school so I have more than 5 days off a year. xp

what I did was go to a temp agency, told them what I'd like to do, tested around that skill area, and told them I wanted a full-time job.
They find you one, you check it out, you like it, stay, then get signed on with the company later.
I get paid $10 and hour and the temp agency takes a cut of my pay.
It only gets better once I get signed on.
I'm just putting this out there as an idea for you, Cap'n.
I don't want to see you in angst like I was.

why? because no one in the entire world makes 15" LED glowsticks and all i really like using at raves are 15" glowsticks, not the 6" glowsticks. so i'm going to make my own then sell them as well. I'm a bit tired of having to pay $5 for each chemical glowstick and having to wait a week and a half to get them when i run out.
btw, a lot has changed with the design since i posted it in myspace.....if things go right in the next month, the possibility to make a glowstick staff is very real ninja
