Seduction is always more singular and sublime than sex and it commands the higher price

"Thank you very much. It means a lot to a Host to know they are doing well." As if reading Raesis's concerns Vesinn continued. "The house keeping comes every day during breakfast. Most of our tenets wish to stay indoors during the day. So if anything is wrong please let me know." He said with a smile. The Aethral also expected to hear from his housekeeping if anything was wrong. So either or he knew he'd find out the moment there was a problem.

"If you are worried please don't be. You are easily one of the cleaner folks who have rolled into our business. I don't know your life before here but how often do you get a chance to roll around in luxury and not have to worry about a thing?" Vesinn said softly as he took the gold and handed over the key. Brushing some of his long hair back over his shoulder, those red eyes watched the pale man for any sign that something else was wrong. He hopped not.

"Oh I'm sorry you probably want to clean up. If you wish for some company please don't hesitate to find me. I'm free till my next performance." With a bow the Aethral moved around him towards the door. "Thank you for choosing Aethral's Kiss." He said softly with a smile as he moved out of the door with a bow. Gently closing the door behind him, Vesinn left Raesis alone and slowly made his way back down stairs.

Kartan pulled the door to the tavern open, letting the sounds and smells and sights of the place hit him. After travelling for so long, searching for some way to help his people join the kingdom, he needed time off. This place seemed perfect, and, being a tavern, nobody really noticed new faces, and the traveller's cloak he'd added to his outfit covered his unique Red Blade armor, though since his people had been isolated for generations, it was unlikely anyone here had met one.

He found an open nook that was secluded, and private, and took it. He figured if they wanted his business, they would approach him, for he was tired, and in no mood to deal with pushy folk.

His hand touched the hilts of his swords and he moved them to allow him greater comfort whilst sitting. This place seemed to be reasonable enough in price that perhaps they had a room available, so that he could stay a few nights and return to his travels refreshed.

Among the various skills he knew the lovely Aethral's possessed he didn't believe mind reading was one of them. He must have been showing more emotion on his face than he first thought. He must be more cautious about relaxing so much around strangers.

When he brushed his hair back his eyes narrowed and he felt him lose a bit of himself but he held on and resisted the urge to throw him on the incredibly soft bed. Instead he offered a smile. "No I have not had such a chance to enjoy such luxury. Only my master has had such comfort. I appreciate you giving such a wonderful room to me. "

Once he left he felt the urges relax along with his muscles. Yet there was one problem he had that did not leave when the Aethral did. A long sigh left him as this was not something he really encountered much along his travels. If Vesinn meant that he was one of the more cleaner ones to stop by then perhaps he could take a short dip in the bath. It looked inviting and although his muscles were not sore he did feel a bath would help him relax his mind, among other things. Removing his clothes he lowered himself into the water. It was the perfect temperature. Both warm to relax and cool enough to help bring down your temperature from a long day in the desert. A pleased sigh left him and he sunk deeper in. After the bath he would have to inquire as to where he could have his clothing washed.

Vesinn came back down the stairs a little lost in thought. He had not wanted to leave the pale man alone. Honestly he was curious about what tales the traveler might have but knew better about bothering him. Tornac would have frowned upon him doing so. He sighed lightly as he came to the curtain that separated the stairwell from the main room. 'Come now Vesinn. Pull it together and stop fretting. You're fine. Everything's fine.' The Aethral thought to himself as he sighed lightly. Taking a deep breath he put a smile back on his face as he came back into the room.

Jathe whistled lightly as his partner returned to get his attention. Moving with a light swing in his hips, Vesinn hurried over. "Got a new one. Alcove to the right. Be careful this one is armored and obviously a fighter." The Swordmaster whispered softly to him as Vesinn leaned across the bar. "That's what I have you here for, dear Jathe. I'll be back." Vesinn's tone was playful and confident. Leaning up he placed a soft kiss on the others cheek before moving away
towards the nook.

Coming to a stop in front of the nook Vesinn bowed lightly to their new guest. "Welcome to Aethral's Kiss. I hope your time with us is nothing but pleasurable. My name if Vesinn. May I offer you something to drink? You look terribly hot in all that armor, sir." He said with a smile. In fact he felt bad for the poor man to be in such armor in this heat. Sure evening was on it's way but it would be several hours till the heat gave way to the coolness of the dark.

Kartan shrugged.

"Whatever seems best for travellers then. A room and meal would be appreciated first, I must change out of my armor."

He pulled off his helmet, blinking his eyes a few times. His red eyes were unsettling to see for some people, but for most, it didn't bother them.

"I can pay exceptionally well. I also have a tale to relate, for those interested in hearing of it."

This story had come to him by way of an old desert hermit, and before that, the old man had said, many others had heard of the tale and passed it on, hoping someone would think it more then just a crackpot story.

Vesinn was a little surprised to find him so quick and too the point. Not that he minded. His ears had perched up a little at the sound of a tale, that could be interesting. "A room and a meal we can do. How long will you be staying with us sir? Would you like to dine down here in the main room or in your room?" Vesinn asked with a smile.

As he asked the man it dawned on him that he hadn't asked Raesis if he would like a meal. Internally scolding himself for being a poor host he quietly awaited his answer. He glanced away only a moment to see that Jathe was still watching him like a hawk. A small chuckle left the raven haired man. He was so protective. Winking one crimson eye at the Swordmaster, Vesinn returned his full attention to the stranger.

"I will be staying three days. Eating down here is fine, but the room first is preferable. Then I will return here and eat, then tell my tale."

He set a bag of gold coins down on the table. The design and mark on them would be new to them here, but gold was gold, and it spent everywhere.

His thoughts turned to his homeland. Being so far affected him sometimes, and reminded him of the promise he'd made, to bring the world to them, and give them a place at the table in the ruling class of this Kingdom.

He pulled his gauntlets free as well, waving a hand to keep the man there.

"Is there a smith nearby? I have some repairs I need on my gear."

Scooping up the bag of coins, Vesinn pulled it open and took a look inside. Oh yeah that would be plenty to cover food and board for the next three days. "Just one moment sir." Slipping away he made his way back over to Jathe who already had the book out. Handing the Swordmaster the money they had a quick discussion as to where to put the new comer. With a nod Jathe handed over the key and Vesinn hurried back.

"If you'll follow me sir. Our rooms are upstairs. I do hope you find them too your liking." Vesinn said with a gesture to follow. Turning on his heel, his long hair flowing behind him a the braid swished about, Vesinn headed for the curtained stairwell for the second time in an hour. "We'll be housing you in our eastern hall. Here we are." He explained as he paused in front of the door. The Aethral unlocked it and lead the way in. This room was no less splendid then the room he had lead Raesis into. "As for a smith yes. There are several in the market about three streets north of here." He continued as he turned to face the man.

Having spent his life in spartan quarters for the most part,t he place was like a palace in comparison to some place's he'd stayed at.

"I thank you for this, and for the information. Now, they key please? I will be down shortly for a meal, and I will relate the tale that has brought me here, so far from home."

He set down his helm and gauntlets, and pulled off the dusty cloak, hanging it froma peg on the wall. Uncovered, his uniquely wrought armor was visible now, and drew an odd look. He didn't noticed, since he was unbuckling his swordbelt.

"Oh yes silly me. Here you are sir. I will tell the cooks to start getting dinner ready." Vesinn said handing the small bronze key over. The Aethral only watched for a moment as the man underneath the armor appeared. He was more interested in him then the armor. With a bow he turned and headed for the door. Closing it gently behind him he smiled at passing guests in the upper halls.

He should probably see if Raesis would like some dinner. Going over to the pale man's door on the other end of the hall, he knocked on the door. "Mister Belvorenth?" He called softly through the door. Vesinn was strictly against entering without some form of permission. He waited outside the door for a sign that he was coming to the door.

Taking the proffered key, Kartan shut the door and stripped out of his armor. It took him a short while, then he pulled on a fresh set of black breeches and shirt, with a pair of old but still serviceable leather boots, also in black.

He raked fingers through his sweat damp hair, but finally gave up on it. He didn't need to look fantastic...

He finally got back down to the tavern about a half an hour later, and once more found himself a seat in the same spot he'd taken earlier.

"Now....to see what they think of this tale," he muttered to himself.

The bath had been incredibly relaxing. Even to the point that the Swordmaster was beginning to doze off. The water was soft and at that right temperature that it was hard not to. It was at one of these moments that he felt himself drifting when the knock at the door came.

"Yes you may enter" he said without even climbing out and covering himself. He thought that something like this was not going to come at each stop so he might as well soak up as much as possible. Even if that meant being naked in front of an Aethral. His head was leaning back on the edge of the tub and his eyes were closed. A towel placed under his skull made it even more comfortable.

"Is there a problem?"
he questioned without opening his eyes. He knew if he looked at him that his awkward situation would become far more awkward if he had them open.

When he heard a voice within call permission to enter, Vesinn opened the door carefully and came inside. Shutting the door behind him the Aethral was surprised not to see the pale man out in his room. For a moment he was tempted to go rummaging, anything to learn about this strange man, but he resisted.

Moving towards the bathroom Vesinn was surprised to find the pale man still in the bath. For a moment crimson eyes danced across the muscled chest and the length of torso above the water. He was rather attractive. Vesinn couldn't deny that he would love to see more of that body. Reverting his eyes back to his face Vesinn was slightly red with embarrassment as he looked at the other. "N-No nothing is wrong. I was going down to get dinner prepared for one of our other guests. I thought you might enjoy some." Vesinn said softly as he fiddled with his braid, a move he did when he was embarrassed.

Food. He realized he had not eaten a decent meal in quite awhile. His training had hammered out the body's natural ache that tells you when to eat. By not feeling hungry one can go on for quite a while without food. You cant go forever but it does help. As he lay in the water he remained silent for a while. For a moment it almost seemed as though he had fallen asleep. Before Vesinn could speak a word he opened his mouth.

"I would love that. Is there any private places to eat down stairs. I'd prefer not to have loud noises and busy crowds. In fact the only presence I would not mind would be yours" he said with his eyes still closed. Although he was not blushing or showing any signs of his situation, Raesis was very embarrassed. He was tempted to open his eyes but stopped himself from doing so. He wondered if the Aethral was looking him over, if he could see...what was under the water. Despite these thoughts his face remained flat and relaxed.

Seduction is always more singular and sublime than sex and it commands the higher price

"There are a couple yes. I would love to join you for supper but another guest has requested relay on the tales of his travels. Would you like to join us or would you prefer not too?" A rock and a hard place. That's where Vesinn was. He loved stories. Anything of the sort he longed to hear. The stranger with eyes like his own had tempted him with just such a thing. Now here was Raesis asking him to have supper with him. The man who intrigued him so. Oh boy.

Vesinn stood quietly waiting to hear the verdict. While he waited he kept having to remind himself to look up. Curse his natural inclination to anything sexual. This man had already tempted him. Now he lay before him completely bare and frankly it was cruel. This should be outlawed.
