  Cherrie's grip on her brother's hand tightened when the shadow appeared. Ave sent her a reassuring look and she loosened her grip once more. Then she spotted two twins come down the stairs, obviously Ave had too. The siblings stared at the two creatures, obviously curious about them. They'd seen kids with cat ears before, but they were either attached or forced to grow them, like what happened with them and their wings, which were for the time being folded across their backs.

"Wow, hey! We weren't expecting you to be home, Miss Alice. We thought you went to go see a movie." they said in unison. They were clearly nervous.
"They were out of tickets and I thought I told you to leave the demons alone!" Alice said sternly
"No, you said not to provoke the unicorns." It looked like they wanted to say more, but they stopped themselves when they caught sight of Ave and Cherrie. They vanished from the stairs and reappeared behind Ave and Cherrie. "These are cool!!!" they said. I was made clear that they never talk separately. "So, are you guys like Arc Angel from X-men or more like an actual angel?" They messed with their wings and pet the wings a lot. "It feels like that hawk we pet that one time, . . . but a it's softer." They smiled and continued to play with their wings. Alice sighed and put her face in her hands.

"Um, no we're not angels. We're actually humans." Cherrie said nervously. Ave nodded and hit away the twins' hands. It felt weird the way they were petting the wings, since there were nerves in them.

Ellie watched as the twins examined the wings. "What odd creatures you are." she said. For a second Ellie imagined the movie Alice in Wonderland, and tried to fit them in, but she couldn't. "Except..." she thought. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. That's who they reminded her of. She then turned to Alice. "Are they always like this?" she asked in a whisper. "They truly are an interesting sort."

The twins disappeared and reappeared around Ellie. "Riddle me this" they smiled. "Your question has no meaning . . . because we know what we are, but what are you?" they started to circle Ellie. "Alice wouldn't bring a human into wonderland. . . Unless . . ." the vanished again. " he saw or smelled something different about you." they couldn't been seen, but their voices could be heard. Alice looked around. "I hate it when they do that."

Ellie turned towards there voices being able to see their shapes. "I can see you, you know." she said thinking that everyone else could as well. "And besides I didn't know you had to be something special to come her.... I just thought Alice and I were new friends." she said. She then heard Alice. "When they do what?" she asked oblivious to the fact that they had disappeared. "I don't mind it if they are curious... It's not bad is it?"

"Se us?" the twins asked surprised. " you can seehalf way throrught other dementions? . . . That's pretty cool." they hi fived echother and appered on the stairs. Alice looked at them and pointed up stairs. "Go. . ." she said demandingly. They looked at her and their eyes got big and they ran up stairs. Carson ran back down alone. "Can we make sandwiches" he asked nervously. "Find Mad and ask him to do it for you." she turned to Ellie with a smile. I got rid of them anyway.

Ellie smiled back. "I thought everyone could see them." she said confused. She was over thinking it way to much so she stopped.
Ches walked up to the house nervously. She didn't know what went on there, but she was always told to leave something for them. Her gaze drifted to the top window that belonged to the twins, as usual, and felt like someone or something was watching her. She never liked the feeling but she had to admit it wasn't a threatening feeling.

"No, sorry. The twins can travle into other dementions. No one can see them." He put her hands behind her head and laughed. "Im going to need you later."
"Are you lost, miss?" Mad whispered in ches's ear from over her right shoulder. He gently grabbed her arm and turned her away from the house and towards him. "This is all progeny property and I'm here to help you, but next time wait at the gate. You're lucky ace didn't find you first. The child is very quick to pull a sword and even worse the likes and knows how to use it." He took her had and kissed it. "I'm Mad and you are?-..."

Ellie giggled. "Oh."
Ches gasped when she heard Mad's voice. When she was turned she tried backing away slightly. "I-I'm sorry." she said. "I-I bring things every week.... M- My name is Ches." Her tail and ears swished nervously.

alisin took Eli's hand and pulled her up the staires. "'Lets go see the upper levels." she said smiling.
Mad laughed. "It was a joke. . . Kind of. . . Anyway, this is my home. What do you have for us. Did the twins order another weapon? If so pleases give it to me." he smiled warmly at her.

Ellie followed Alisin with a smile. "Ok that would be awesome."
Ches saw the smile and was confused. She didn't know if she could trust Mad, but she handed over the weapons that the twins had ordered. She then started to walk away scared.

She pulled her up to the first room on the right and closed the door behind thm. Everything was decorated nineteenth century style and a California king bed sat in the middle of the room. To the left was a large window with beautiful long curtains. "This is my main room. Only Mad has ever been on it."
The twins ran right infront of her while riding a unicorn. Stopping as soon as the saw mad and the girl. Both hopped off. Smiling with guilt covered faces the slapped the horse in the rear and it ran off, disappearing into another demention. Mad looked at them. Disapproval was covering his face. He had almost gotten this innocent girl out of here then dumb and dumber showed up. Now she has to be taken into the house and "Talked to". The twins smiled at eachother while Mad Hung his head. Then they put on a face that looked like they were sorry and truly regretted their mistake. "boss! Why don't you let us handel her? We promise not to do anything stupid. If we do the demons can strip our powers." They smiled and Carson picked up the girl. Mad nodded once and was happy thatcher didn't have to deal with it. He decided that he would send Ace to watch then later. Mad walked to his car and drove off. He was going into town to so some shopping.

Ellie's eyes grew wide when she stepped into the room. "This... room... is... amazing!" she said spinning around. "It's so pretty."
Ches saw two other boys come up on a unicorn. She thought they were very cute, but didn't let any emotion show. She turned to leave, and Carson picked her up. Ches looked away and her ears stayed laid back.
