Hello there. My name is Kittyandacat but everyone around here just usually calls me Kitty. I am a species known as a cat-girl. There are others like me but I don't really associate with them. Anywho, enough about me. This diary that I'm writing in isn't mine. It belongs to a little Hououza feather by the name of Emily. Of course, she's too young to write on her own yet.. So I'll be writing for her on what happens to her on a daily basis.

Well, I first found Emily on a very chilly Winter's day. I was out in the forest, looking around for some wood for my fireplace back at home. The temperature outside was about 20 degrees below freezing. Needless to say, without any firewood, I would freeze to death before the night would be over. It was already getting dark out and a rather thick fog had settled. As I just spotted some large logs only a few feet away from me, something else caught my eye. Curious as to what it was, like all cats would be, I began to slowly walk over to it. Much to my surprise, what had caught my eye was a little green cacoon sac that was spun onto the tip of a Hououza feather.

Once it reached the tiny feather and cacoon, I carefully unlodged it from the snow and picked it up. This feather looked as if it had been cut up with a pair of scissors or something. It was horrible! So, with this little, torn up one being just a feather, I took it in to be raised as one of my own, next to my oldest daughter, Autumn.

I quickly went over to the small stack of large logs, grabbing a few and starting on my way back home. My daughter, Autumn, needed me as soon as possible, as well as this new little feather.

As the hours went on from the time I got the little feather, I had noticed a bunch of odd things about it. First off, no matter what I tried to do, the cuts and wounds on it just wouldn't go away. It was almost like they were meant to be there. Secondly, the cacoon the was spun onto the tip of the Feather seemed to not want to be removed either. It was like trying to pull a nail out of a board with your bare hands! It stuck with the little darling the whole time. Last thing of all that I noticed was the odd shape of the feather. It looked so delicate and proper so I could oly assume it was a girl.

After carefully thinking about the perfect name for the little feather, I had decided. Her name was to be
Emily and she was, in my opinion, the Queen of the Dead.

Hello there again. Just me writing here in place of my daughter Emily. This past week or so has been a little rough for me and my family. Autumn has been a tad bit ill due to the fact that she evolved last week. Floe and Emily both are very curious feathers, always floating around everywhere and never staying quite still.

As for Emily herself though, she has shown some signs of being rather.... Shy. She does float around her two other sisters quite a bit, however, she stays away from such things as windows and doors. Maybe she's just afraid of the outside world.. I don't know.

Anywho though, she's been rather fun to be around. There is this one thing about her though that really bothers me... She always seems to smell a lot like death...

Well, what a day today has been with my dear little Hououza feather Emily. I had decided today to take Floe and Emily out for a short walk today. Autumn wanted to stay home... For she just wasn't in the mood to be going out anywhere. So, I took both of my little Winter daughters out.

When I did so, Floe just sat in my hair, seemingly enjoying the cool breeze outside. However, as I held Emily in my hands, frost began to creep up my finger tips. I took Emily and placed her in my hair with Floe, only to find my hair doing the same thing as my finger tips. So, I took Emily out of my hair, this time trying an experiment and placing her on the ground. As I expected it to, the already frosty and snowy ground started to ice up.

I picked up Emily once more, placing her on the bottom rim of my jacket. It too started to frost up, but I didn't care too much, leaving her there. Not only does things she comes in contact with begin to frost up, but the smell of death that she gives off is slowly becoming stronger. I don't understand why.... For she is clearly alive... But it is there... And it doesn't seem to be going away at all...

It happened! In the wee hours of the morning, Emily transformed into a child! She's so adorable... But not what I expected her to look like... At all. Here is what I wrote from this early mornings event when I woke up and saw it.

Emily's Transformation
Well, for some reason, Emily has been acting strangely all night long. The smell of death that surrounds her has been going from extremely strong to almost not being there. The little cacoon that hangs off of the tip of her has been shaking rather wildly, almost as if it will hatch soon. I'm worried about her.... And she just can't seem to rest either....

But y.. Wait..... What's this..? Emily's beginning to smoke! Oh... I hope she's alright.. She almost looks as if she's decaying right here and now..... I think she may be... She may be..... She may be transforming!! Her feather stage is smoking so badly, almost as if someone just threw a match onto her! -holds her nose and breath so as to not breathe in any of thr smoke, closing her eyes as well.... looks after the smoke dies down some- I was right!! Emily transformed!! -goes over and quickly picks up her still smoking child, Emily blinking her pure white eyes-

Well, this has been another one of the best experiences in my life. My baby girl transformed right in front of my eyes.... Well, sort of, just like Autumn had once done. But just so I have this recorded, Emily officially transformed on February 12, 2006 at 12:02 a.m. I can't wait to start teaching her things... As well as have her actually meet her older sister. Bye for now! -goes to hug Emily dearly-

Well, there you have it. The thing is though, not only was her transformation extremely odd, but the little cacoon ended up hatching too. It didn't turn out to what I thought it would be either... Not a butterfly or a moth... But a maggot.

Not only is the maggot strange, but so is Emily. Her skin on her right leg is literally hanging off, making the bones quite visible. She has a very deep cut on her face, so deep you can almost see right into her skull. Her whole left arm is nothing but bones.... And she doesn't appear to have any blood either... Occasionally her arm will fall off or her eye will pop out due to the maggot. Her clothes are also weird... For she is wearing a wedding gown. She has the vail and all... It's almost as if she was once alive but died before she was to be married or something.

Anyhow, no matter how odd her and her little maggot friend have turned out to be, I will still love them both the same, just as I have with Floe and Autumn. I am proud to have a very unique daughter.... And maggot.
