Sosay Rose Uchiha▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Kirigakure |~| Genin |~| SharinganSosay's eyes had closed slightly as Axel's past unfolded before her. She knew of a bit but she was hoping it wasn't as bad as it turned out. So say sighed, she was about to speak back when Cherry stepped out and spoke to them. She didn't find it fair for Zane to speak about his younger brothers past. "Hello Cherry. I know what you said is true and I know that if I said he would of never told you would of came back with, well he would of told you when the moment was right but I cant sit around forever and watch, I need to help him along. If you wanted to help Zane through something, then you would do whatever it took. Right?" she replied, her voice low as a depression tone took over her. She was feeling a little sad over the whole thing.25/25 |~| --- |~|▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ║▌│█│║▌║││█ ▌█ ▌█ ▌ ║▌│█│║

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXX"I never once said it was a bad thing," Zane responded to Cherry as she now stood behind him. Zane turned his head to look at his beautiful wife, and never once had his breath not been taken away by her. This was his companion, one who has saved from literal hell. Had it not been for her, Zane would never have had the strength to defend the village during the demon attacks, for he grew stronger through his desire to protect her. In fact, he's always had a desire to protect her. Cherry was Zane's first student, and his love for her ran deep. "I'm concerned about Axel," he explained to her, knowing that she knew how protective Zane was about his little brother. "I'm afraid that he's not taking this change of regime as well as he should. And you know how he can be...the last thing I need is for him to insult the Mizukage in some way and anger him. So I'm asking Sosay to watch over him, but for her to do that she needs to know exactly what she's dealing with and I doubt that Axel told her about his childhood. Yeah it might be wrong...but its the thought that counts right?" Zane asked, finishing his tea and taking a deep breath as he placed his hands behind his head. How much has changed since his retirement? He was far from being the assassin he once used to be. Not to mention, Cherry fell in love with him when he was an Assassin...so how does she feel about him now?||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. Dяeamɪƞg, I'll be your Nɪghƚmaяe,xxxx˪ ˲ Petals on the Wind // Life's Perfect 'M E T A P H O R' ࿇ Outou Hajime listened to both Sosay and Zane silently and calmly as they responded to her earlier inquiry. In her past, the pink eyed girl would criticize and dig out every little fault and hole in their sentences, if only to make them see the possible errors. But, she has learned over time, that people rarely listen, and they learn better by going through with their mistakes than being corrected - mostly. That, and Outou had grown a little tired of placing herself in the middle of other people's affairs. It would wear her down to her last nerve and she'd end up feeling like ripping some rib bones out of something alive and squirming. Or burning someone. Besides, in the end, what was logical didn't always apply to humans and their behaviour. So, instead of placing in her thoughts and fortunes of possible outcomes and repercussions, Outou just nodded and said one simple line in reply.
"You know humans better than I. I'll go make lunch now." The woman leaned down and kissed her husband's cheek, slender fingers holding the vase and flowers carefully so they would not be crushed by the movement of their own weight. Outou turned and left the two to their conversation after having spoken about the human species as though she didn't belong to it, and she was glad to feel as though she didn't. Being an outsider had many benefits that she preferred over the positives of an insider. Outou still had her own opinion over her husband's and her brother-in-law's girlfriend's conversation about Axel, but she only gave her thoughts these days when asked for it; even then she would be a little elusive. No, Outou liked to keep herself clear of anything that could get her angered, frustrated, or blood-lusting, for her own sake. Ever since, and even before, the fall of the village, Outou had been mentally weak, the cracks in her mind thick and deep. If she did not work herself tired enough to have a sleepless night, her dreams would be at risk of being... infected. Her Other, the side of herself that was pressing against her own mentality, causing the cracks, would whisper in her dreams, and she'd see things that tempted her to fall back to her original state - the Smiling Demon. A blood-covered girl that always smiled, that always went for death, that had nothing to live for. So tempting...
Walking into Zane's bedroom Outou placed the vase on a windowsill, carefully arranging the stems so each flower was in it's proper place, that gave off it's own radiance. Growing up, she was taught flower arranging as part of her preparation to become a kunoichi, a wife, and woman of means. Lilies, unlike the modern misconception (which arose out of the fashion of having them present at funerals), represented life, purity, and innocence. Outou was always amused by irony. Having such a symbol in the bedroom of killers like herself and Zane was too amusing to pass up. Turning the vase slightly so the sun could bask each petal in its light, Outou stood back and admired the sight, looking for any imperfections. She altered the stem heights slightly before feeling satisfied enough to leave it as is and turn to head for the kitchen to start making lunch. Inari sounded nice on a day such as this. Maybe some of the fresh prawns she had bought today on a bed of cool rice? Or something - it was the season of the cherry blossoms, why not match the food to the scenery that Zane and Sosay were seated under? Decisions...

Sosay Rose Uchiha▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Kirigakure |~| Genin |~| SharinganShe had been ignored once again. That had taken her back to the days in which she had been ignored all the time. When her voice meant nothing to the ones around her. Of course from that experience she had learned to speak up and not rely upon someone else to do your bidding's. Sighing she turned her gaze to the tree in front of her. Her head lifted to get a better look at it's beauty. "I will try my hardest to look out for him sensei." she replied, then it hit her. She blinked a couple of times before looking over at Zane, her soft black eyes as cute as ever. She obviously wanted something. "Can you tell me where Axel is at this moment!?" she questioned, a cutish tone coming out of her. Of course she was sucking up to the man at this point. If she were to help him raise his brother's spirits then of course she was going to want something small in return. Just the way she rolled. 25/25 |~| --- |~|▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ║▌│█│║▌║││█ ▌█ ▌█ ▌ ║▌│█│║

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXXZane felt her soft lips press gently against his cheek and watched her walk off once more. Not responding to her, knowing full well how she was feeling after being married for so long, Zane turned back to Sosay. Zane knew his wife rather well and despite the fact that he could feel the emotions of the people around him and was succeptible to them, Zane didn't need that to know what she was thinking. "Axel...I'm not sure at the moment, he's nowhere near here if that helps. He might be visiting the Mizukage's Tower unless he went off on a mission, which I doubt since he ussually tells me these things. You should try going there and at the same time, speak with the Mizukage to see what he wants you to do as a shinobi," Zane told her as he finally finished his tea. It was a good thing Cherry was going to make some lunch, he was starving. As the petals of the Cherry Blossom continued to fly in the breeze, Zane reflected upon his own life. It seems like a whole lifetime ago when the Mizukage asked him to surface as a hunter nin and took on his first squad. He remembered the conversation he had with Cherry at the park, when he protected her from her father's wrath. Zane sighed as he thought about how simple his life was now...maybe boring. But Zane held himself responsible for what happened with hidden villages, nothing went according to plan, and he was afraid to let the power go to his head once more.||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. Dяeamɪƞg, I'll be your Nɪghƚmaяe,xxxx˪ ˲ Petals on the Wind // Life's Perfect 'M E T A P H O R' ࿇ Outou Hajime's thin hands were covered in a light film of water and sugar as she was carefully maneuvering thin slices of tofu from being dipped and soaked in a trey of the sweet water to lay in another. She'd decided to make a small treat of Inari, touched with a light sprinkle of green tea to give it a gentle, herbal, undertone, to match with the season. The tofu would only be lightly cooked after being soaked, just to give it the golden colour and help seal the flavors in. As Outou continued her work in the kitchen, she was unable to hear or see what Zane and Sosay were up to. The pink-eyed woman kept herself completely preoccupied in the kitchen, also making a small plate of sandwiches and a unique mix of herbs for tea to tie everything together. She was making enough for Zane, Sosay, and herself to eat, multi-tasking with the rice, the herbs, the tofu, and washing and cutting the ingredients required for the sandwiches. She was somewhat content and happy with such tasks, feeling as though she was fulfilling her role as wife, but also because she was able to show her care for her husband in doing so.

Sosay Rose Uchiha▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Kirigakure |~| Genin |~| SharinganSosay had guessed that much. Axel was too far away for Zane to sense. Sighing as she stood up she couldn't help but accept the truth in his words. She had to speak with the Kage sometime or later. Putting it off just seemed to make things worse for her. "Tell Cherry that I'm sorry for not staying and eating, I will hate missing one of her dealious meals. Like you said though, I should see what Deil-sama wants done with me. I will see you around. Oh and I promise to cheer him up sensei." she stated as she left the property of Zane's. For now, Sosay headed for the Mizukage's tower, hoping whatever he gave her wasn't too bothersome.

As she walked off, he was happy that his brother managed to find someone like Sosay. Rising to his feet with a sigh, Zane picked up the tea cups and pot and headed inside the dojo. Taking a right, Zane now entered the kitchen, Cherry was in the middle of cooking when Zane arrived and he walked over to the sink. While he was there, he began washing his cups as well as any dishes that were already there before. Since she was busy with the cooking and he didn't have anything else to do at the moment, he felt like doing it. Retired life was strange, and Zane often found himself with a lot of time on his hands. "Sosay had to leave us, she needed to speak with the Mizukage. She's sorry that she couldn't stay for lunch. If you've already started cooking to include her, I guarantee you I'll eat it, I am starving," Zane stated, his back turned towards her as he continued washing the dishes. ||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. Dяeamɪƞg, I'll be your Nɪghƚmaяe,xxxx˪ ˲ Petals on the Wind // Life's Perfect 'M E T A P H O R' ࿇ Outou Hajime looked up when she heard the door open, pink eyes finding her husband walking into the kitchen before she went back to continuing her work with lunch. She was turning the boiling rice, making sure none is burned, satisfied with how it was cooking, Outou turned and walked over to her husband, a tea towel in hand, drying her hands. Reaching Zane, she rested a cheek against the es-assassin's shoulder, pink eyes closed, listening to Zane speak. "I see. Lunch will be ready soon. The rice and tofu will just need to cool. Have you met the new Mizukage?" She asked, having been away for most of the day. Sometimes Outou found herself wondering what would happen, or change with the new Mizukage. Would her husband be called back into service, or even herself... such questions would worry her at times.

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXXZane took a deep breath, enjoying the warmth her body gave off as he finished washing the dishes and drying his hands. Placing his hands upon the counter, his body leaned against it as his head looked down, not looking at anything in particular. "I have not personally met with him...no. According to the data given to me by Axel, the boy specializes in taijutsu. Besides...what reason do I have to meet with the kage? I have done my service to Kirigakure. He has no reason to speak with me," Zane finished as he turned around and placed his hands on his wife's hips, looking down at her big pink eyes, the ones he fell in love with all those years ago. "So you have nothing to worry about. Do you remember that day in the Mizukage's Tower? When I had fused with Ezio and returned from killing Alucard? I promised you that I wouldn't leave you anymore. I will always be here," he finished as he kissed his wife's forehead. It was weird, that was the first time in a long time he had spoken his ghost partner's name. It had been long since he had summoned Ezio to his side, but because he no longer fought and no longer wished to use his power, he no longer summoned him. ||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. "I see." She responded, eyes opening looking up at Zane as he turned to face her. "So a Mizukage has no reason to talk to the greatest killer? I find that hard to believe. But thank you." She leaned up and kissed his chin. "And I remember. But sometimes, Zane, people need to leave to ensure what they care for is protected." A hand reached up and fingers gently ran themselves over Zane's left cheek. "Zane... I never did anything for the village. Would I ever be recalled back into service?" She finally asked, eyes lowered, knowing her worry would be felt by her husband.

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXX"No, because I am no longer the greatest killer Cherry," Zane told her as he felt Cherry's soft lips against his skin. Feeling rather content at the moment, Zane's hands gripped tighter around her, as if she could be taken away at any moment. "In my current state, I'm no use to anyone as a shinobi. These hands haven't grasped a blade in a long time, they haven't even performed a single jutsu in a long time. I don't even think I know how to fight anymore," Zane chuckled, finding his own helplessness rather ironic. "The Mizukage coule probably defeat me in my current state, so no I doubt he would ever have a reason to talk to me," he spoke as her hands slowly grazed his left cheek. "I don't know, Cherry, I have no idea what this man plans to do. But if you do get called back into service, you do have a choice," he told her. However much he loved her, Zane knew she was still a rather strong willed woman. If she chose to become a shinobi once more, he would support her in her decision. Granted, he would of course have Axel keep an eye on her, but he himself would wait for her here. He would always wait for her here. "If you choose to go, I won't stop you...I will honor your decision and I will be waiting here for your return. If you choose not to go, I will make sure to protect you and our home," he finished. Would he break his vow and take the blade should the Mizukage order Cherry back into service? Or if any danger would befall upon her or his family? She spoke, not smiling, but knowing Zane would be able to feel her humour. Outo's hands moved and rested gently against his chest, her face resting there are well. She believed that, while Zane may be rusty, he would still be capable of everything he had achieved previously. "You think too little of yourself." The pink-eyed woman tapped a slender finger on the male's chest. "You'll always be a killer." She said with affection. "I, however, can no longer. My skills in genjutsu are lethal, even to me. If given the choice, I would not return to the life of a shinobi." Outou sighed, pressing herself against her husband, suddenly feeling a little weary from the conversation. She'd rather focus on what she could control, and the here and now. "You're my only protection, Zane. I need you strong for me. Do not doubt yourself, or I may start as well, and I cannot take that."

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXXZane chuckled at her humor, and its only because he's known her for so long that he knew she was only joking. As she told her that he would always be a killer, he gave a rather sadistic smile. Despite the fact that he was retired, he still missed very much the rush of the kill. The tracking portion was only surpassed by the feel of the blade running through his target's neck, the sweet sight of blood tainting the floor and painting it a mosaic red. Disposing of the body was of course his least favorite part, having to either burn it, or seal it up and study it to try and reveal its secrets. Even so, he missed every single part of the hunt. Looking back down at her Zane realized that what she said was true, he was her only protection. If he doubted himself, then his role as protector wouldn't be filled. The question now was, what was he going to do about it? "Is lunch ready yet?" he asked her, trying to change the subject as to not upset her any longer, plus he was in fact rather hungry.||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. Dяeamɪƞg, I'll be your Nɪghƚmaяe,xxxx˪ ˲ Petals on the Wind // Life's Perfect 'M E T A P H O R' ࿇ Outou Hajime tapped a finger against Zane's chest once more, knowing that the smile and laugh her husband had given her was all the proof she needed to show she was right - Zane was still a killer. Outou was as well, and she missed the thought of killing her targets, but it was too dangerous to kill them they way she liked to, using their own mind against them. So she keeps herself constantly busy so as to leave those thoughts behind. Outou nodded her head. "It just needs to cool. The tea would be ready by now. It's a little sweet, but it will go well with the Inari." She spoke, stepping back and turning to the rice, lifting the pot up to pour out the hot water and fill it with cold water instead. She then moved to the oven, the tofu a golden hue and ready to be set in the fridge. The wonders of technology. While the rice and tofu cooled, Outou went to cutting the sandwiches into four triangles for each slice, before setting the neatly on a plate. "I'll roll up the Inari and bring it out soon. Would you like the sandwiches and tea now?" She asked, looking up to Zane, still appearing as calm and detached from the world as ever. Outou was never detached, always aware of her surroundings where she could. She was less with Zane, however, trusting him to guard her so she might let her defenses down.
