If I knew which stores supported Pro-Life causes, now, I'd definitely go more out of my way to shop at them.

Yes definately!

I prefer shopping at local craft stores for my hobbies...they usually have a lot of stuff you can't get in chain stores. PLUS there's the perk of supporting small businesses. I certianly have enjoyed working in a small independent retailers than large beuracratic chain stores. Shopping to help support something makes the experiance a little more enjoyable....and I'm actually not a big shopper (outside of crafts).

But things like banks and insurance are not as easy to switch around as cereal and clothing.

It doesn't have Canadian companies so I still don't know about things like my bank and what-not. Not that I could switch banks anyway since I direct deposit my paycheck into my bank account and all.

Well I don't but work does. XD

The only craft store I shop at is Micheals though the Joannes out here can be concider a craft and fabric store (the new one is huge. The old one didn't have much stuff but as I said it's not the biggest town out there so don't know how big others are). Oh reminds to pick up some stuff.

Micheals...I can't stay in there for too long or else I'll get light-headed and buy all sorts of stuff I don't need.

Seriously...I went in recently with the intention of buying ONLY a set of knitting needles and some clothes pins. I almost left spending over 60 bucks on Boye's NeedleMaster set (the one with adjustable circulars in almost every needle size crying ) and it was freakin' painful to exercise my will power and not give in. Domestic arts may seem completely harmless but once you get sucked into it, it's a total addiction. sweatdrop

lol, I'm that way with used video game stores.

Which is worse, because you can end up spending hundreds of dollars, and still assure yourself that you're saving a lot. sweatdrop

Thank God HEB and Walmart aren't up there. Those are the only grocery stores around here and Walmart isn't much of one at that.

Okay, okay, on a less s**t-stirring note, Domino's apparently supports pro-life causes.

YOu got somthign against meat eaters?

I also hunt deer and squirrel. Its quite enjoyable. Being out there early morning, freesing cold, bare hands against the cold metal of my 12 guage. I find it to be quite an enjoyable pass time and a very fun way to fill my freezer with meat for later consumption.

Which brings my next question. Does mossburg or remington support abortion causes? I've looked it up and can't really find anything.

Ewww squirrels? That don't sound too good, sounds kind of nasty but I never tried it and I don't think I want to sweatdrop Don't like deer. But don't like much food anyways (always been picky). What is Mossburg? Never heard of that.

Remington are a gun making company, so I'm guessing Mossburg is too.

And I like squirrels too much to eat them. sad But I've always wanted to try dear.

Pyro, don't taunt the vegetarians. Whether you think she started it or not, continuing it does nothing good for anyone's health.

And La Veuve, seriously, just because you don't eat meat isn't any reason to "stir-s**t" with people who do. You are in the minority, you know. If you want to argue about it, start a topic in the PLG Extended Discussion forum.

Mossburg are some of the finist shot gun crafters around.

I love remington though. My first deer hunting gun was an old bolt action remington 20 guage with an adjustable choke. A friend of mine loand it to me for a hunt. It was light, durable, and beautiful

I'm gettign an old 1965 bolt action Remingotn rifle for my graduation. Its in near ment condition eek I'll never use it though.

Thank you darling, I'm glad you said something otherwise I would have.

I don't mind people eating meat but really boasting about killing animals just to taunt us vegetarians is just rude.

Though more rude then it needed to be, hers wasn't taunting so much as it was a comment on the "oxymoronity" of Pro-Life meat eaters. Whereas your comment was specifically intended to annoy her.

As I said, in the right forum, her comment would have been valid. Your's, not so much.

And notice I did "repromand" her as well.

Its not on oxymoron to be pro-life and eat meat. I seriously can't see how any one can say it is. Deer, squiarlls, cows, etc, are not human and are not scientificly human, so they do not have the same rights as humans. Being pro-life does not mean every life. Its not an oxymoron

You did repromend her, but Miranda did not, she only pointed out it was rude to taunt the veggi eaters. I inturpreted her post by the context and how she wnet about postign it as tuanting me and singling me out when she had no right. Miranda repromended me, and never made mention of her, to me, that sounds like she's tackign sides. Sorry if thats not how it is, but it is how it looks to me.
