We're just here to give you general policy advice, not tell you exactly what to do. We give you a direction and you run with it. Sure, we can destroy all catholics after doing your empire building event and be an orthodox.

When some major world event comes up you tell us how it goes.

I had no idea I had a Casus Belli on them. Only found it out when the icon said of CB's that will expire soon. So I went to war.

The Doge was elected again for another four terms for what he has did or lack of what he has done, either way he was worth re-electing.

Easiest war Venice has ever fought.

With a easy war victory could only be within grasps within days. Soon the Kingdom fell to its knees.

I also thought my catch files were off, then I figured they counted the rebels there. Since they been sitting there forever.

With a full victory the demands were made simple. Annexation.

Doge had to make a decision, with the Minor Console surly to be on his side he could rip apart Naples from either gaining further strength. Only Poland stood in his way.

It only took five days. The game must have counted the peasantry siege and mine as one. Which again I thought the catch files were messed up.

Should I attack Naples?

The Let's Play is not dead. I just been having issues with the sheer size of the files I upload. They are all in bmp size so its 4mb per file. I'll post the first set tonight after I write a dialog. Over fifteen years has passed in the playthrough so I have over a GB worth of files.

The Doge arrives in Romagna for further assault into the heartland of Naples and to victory.

The Doge taking Romagna hears word from his scouts of a large counter offensive from Naples waiting to attack in a few days. The Doge braces for attack as supplies and reinforces arrive for the battle.

Why does Naples new navy have glass bottom boats? To see the old navy.

Upon meeting a exchange of attacks the Doge sends forth favorable terms of a white peace. Seeing as no gains would benefit Venice and the goal of weakening them naval wise and military wise has been achieved thus leaving them open for further attacks by other powers.

What happened here a bunch of stuff popped up and I clicked too much thus getting a white peace. I really did not want to do it over again, so I just ran with it.

Let me show you how bad the AI is in this game. I need to convert to Orthodox, so I start a war with a country that is. I surrender to them on terms that favors them. What do they do?

They turn it down. Since I know how strong they are. They sure will scare me. rolleyes

Cutting their country in half was the best thing I could do, as it would make annexing them with cores much easier.

I wanted to make sure that Christians of a different sect don't revolt while I convert them. Also the coming stages will be trying times as instability comes.
