We went to see it as a family since my aunt worked on it.
I was like ... sure it was gonna suck (think Shrek 3 and all the Madagascar sequels) but I was like OMG I LOVE THIS!
I actually went to see it a second time in the cheap theater :3
The art is actually pretty amazing in the movie. Especially the opening <3

My aunt has worked on a lot (if not most_ of the dreamworks animation stuff.
We are pretty much required to see a lot of them. So all the Shreks? All the Madagascars? Everything back starting with Antz we were required to go see in theathers xD
AND YES! Go see it.
Even rotten tomatoes says it's good and that has about everyone's opinion on it x3
Tell them you have to go see it! Have to!
Everyone who I saw it with enjoyed it and all the people at the theater seemed to like it too :3

i iz teh neko Apprentice charm is such a cute item.
So, I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides last night.
Anyone else seen it/want to see it?
I thought it was pretty good :3 I saw Pirates the day it came out.
It's strange because I've heard a lot of people really liked this one a lot.
I'm a HUGE PotC fan, but I was very unimpressed by it ... it may be because I was expecting more from it. Also, I didn't really like the insertion of the mermaid and missionary guy ... it was like they were just shoved in there to take the place of Will and Elizabeth and I didn't really feel anything for their characters.

APCLover21 I saw Pirates the day it came out.
It's strange because I've heard a lot of people really liked this one a lot.

It was a new director so it had a new feel. Some parts of it were boring x.x
I, personally, was a sucker for the missionary/mermaid story and I know quite a few people who say the same.
Was it the best Pirates? Certainly not. I for one thought it was slow in parts and I never liked Angelica's character. I found it IRRITATING BEYOND BELIEF. But was it still good? Yes, or at least to me c:
I personally was a bit relieved to see Elizabeth x Will just sort of go away. It was sweet the first movie, okay the second, and just plain old by the third >.>

I am so not looking forward to the Puss in Boots movie. I don't even see how they can make a movie out of that x.x
And we have to see all the specials on TV and all the little shorts they put out with the DVDs.
At least they're getting better. The last 2 or 3 were pretty good c:
It also means pissing off the theater workers because we sit through the credits to find her name xD

I figured as much. It was pretty different from the others.
Yeah, there are a lot of people who really liked them but I couldn't really get into them. I especially squirmed in my seat when the missionary screamed out "She has a name!"

It seemed so corny, lol.
I kinda liked Angelica's character, she was pretty interesting in my opinion although she was also irritating as well, lol.
I agree, I thought this Pirates was by far the funniest one yet, I just wouldn't call it the best.
I liked the way Will and Elizabeth's story concluded. It was like a fairy tale without the happy ending.

So good! Although I've always kinda had a soft spot for both Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom.
