Hmm...yet the hair was part of what made her so interesting. I mean, before her, I didn't see too many characters in anime with that hairstyle...but now it's like a general thing.

I mean, before her, I didn't see too many characters in anime with that hairstyle...but now it's like a general thing. *nodds* true....very true....well she sould have been a little nicer to Sakura.... sweatdrop Yeah, but Meiling was jealous of Sakura being with Syaoran so much and plus the fact that Sakura had magic just like Syaoran. She didn't know how else to handle it, I suppose and approached the whole situation angrily. I mean, I know how she feels to some degree. Only, the guy I like isn't my cousin.. but besides that, I liked him for a long time and got jealous knowing he was around other girls a lot.

Kinagaki It was a shame though, the ending to the CCS anime, where Sakura makes the jump to a waiting Syaoran. My sister and I used to joke about.. Maybe she didn't make it and fell. >_< Still, the first time I saw the second movie, I cried, because it was Syaoran who was supposed to forget about his feelings for Sakura. (See how they somewhat reversed it for Tsubasa?) Luckily for the both of them that the power of the Hope was able to reverse it! That was so cute! I would have liked to see more of the CCS manga put into the actual anime though. Such as when S+S go to the shrine in the second manga series (Forth book) and insted of the scarf that she makes for him in the anime, Sakura makes Syaoran a yukata. He looks so gorgeous! Quiet Daydreamer is right though - The entwining of Clow into both Eriol and Fujitaka should have been implied into the anime. Reason being is that most of the viewers would have understood why it was Sakura and Touya that had magical abilities about them. (As it was passed through their father - Part of Clows Reincarnation) It also would have been nice to see the photo that Tomoyo was planning to take of the duo once they had sealed the Void. There was a picture of it running around online, but... Common, we all wanted some S+S action! <3~ Anywho, that's my two cents! I never imagined Sakura falling...although now I can't get the image out of my head. XD OMG, I can't stop cracking up about it! I personally didn't like the second movie at all. Horrible in my opinion. (Did anyone watch the dubbed? DON'T, they had new voice actors, all acting high pitched to imitate the Japanese voice actors) I know, I would have liked to see the S&S action as well. They build it up, but now what? *shakes head*I would have like to see that picture. Syaoran looked excellent in that yukata! That was my favorite outfit on him out of the manga. Did anyone notice the differences in the sequence of scenes of the last episode of CCS, in the Japanese and English dubbed verions? In the Japanese version, the last this is where Sakura's at the airport, right? I thought that when the English version aired, the last thing you saw was Sakura in her room, creating the new card. And (I may be terribly mistaken about this), the card read Hope on it. I don't believe the Japanese version that word written on the card.

CCS Was a spectacular manga. I especially like movies on and two, although as the story went along Syoran seemed more and more of a burden/ lacky. I hated that!!! I mean the guys got a kick a** sword, tracking spells, element attacks, and more expierience in using magic!!! I can't just believe he would pass out in the final fight with Eriol. In fact, all their encounters with Eriols tricks, made Syoran look like a total novice at the magical arts.
But i forgive clamp, because in Tsubasa, Syoran gets Kick a** Kick attacks and various other powers. I especially like the Fire Kudan.....the fire kudan rules. It would have been nice if he kept it though...WAHH!! crying

I don't think it was Syaoran who was lacking. What they were trying to portray there, was him stepping aside and letting Sakura do her thing. From what we can gather here, he also wanted to see how strong she really was. After all, by the time they had their final battle with Eriol, the cards solely belonged to Sakura, and not Syaoran.
I don't think that there was much he could do about it.
The reason why he almost fell asleep, was because Eriol wanted him to, but because of Syaoran's relationship to the boy, didn't. (He being a direct decendant of Eriol, therfore, to an extent, they share similarities in their powers)
Yup, his Kudan was pretty awesome, I enjoyed the small story put behind the level of the Kudans with their "owners".

I agree. The title is Cardcaptor Sakura, implying her as the main character. It did seem a bit unfair because in the manga, Syaoran had no cards but it also made him stronger. He did not have to rely on the power of Clow. Then again, because he had no cards, he did not face Yue. In the anime, it balanced out more to attract greater audiences. Sakura Star (a website that is now dead) once made a list of all the cards and who had them before Sakura became master. She had most but Syaoran had a few for himself (I'm thinking 5 cards? Someone correct me if I'm wrong). He did face Yue though lost in the end. *Interesting fact* This could just be me and my wacky eyes, but at the end of the Final Judgement, I think Sakura actually kisses Syaoran, or pecks him or something... eek If anyone has that DVD, please check. Its at the end after Sakura defeats Yue and she and Syaoran are spinning around. I think right before the start spinning, it happens. She leans in and it looked liked she kissed him but I was never sure. I don't have that volume yet for I am poor so to anyone who does. PLEASE! ^-^ Thanks very much!
