Pvt. John McCord was riding in a APC with a whole convoy of troops to help take back the base from the zombies. "This is Pvt. McCord," He said on comms attempting to contact survivors "Is there anyone left? If you hear this please respond! I repeat, if you hear this please respond!" He repeated over and over but no one responded. Finally the captain ordered everyone out of their vehicles and they all did. They stepped out on to a field, but nothing insight except for grass, tanks, APCs, and troops. They slowly walked forward, with everyone looking everywhere. Suddenly, a moaning, and the next thing McCord saw was a handgun flying at his face. When he awoke from being knocked out, he was face down on the floor among dead zombies and soldiers alike. The vehicles were blown to pieces, probably zombies attacking the engines. He stood up, and looked around, to find nothingness.

Jay looks off and sees the explosion of the vehicles. "More survivors or more zombies. Well it was nice meeting you sir." Jay adjusts his ODST Captains armor and runs to investigate the explosion. He arrives at the scene and sees Pvt. John McCord. "Are you alright sir?"

The War Baron slaps Jake upside the head and yells at him, "YOUR SUPPOSED TO PANT NOT MOAN LIKE A ZOMBIE!!"

"Yeah I'm alright... You weren't in my unit were you? So your a survivor." He said looking around. He picked up and M4A1 Carbine from a dead soldier and handed another to the man. "I'm Pvt. John McCord, and you are?"

The War Baron rolls his eyes and walks into the field were he can see burning vehicles and two men talking. "C'mon Jake let's see if these guys know what the ******** is going on."
