Danshoku Kotonii Sensei! If I just said どちらも好きです.Would that imply that I like both as well? No, I'm afraid not. どちら is a question word. どちらも好きです would mean something along the lines of "Which both is liked?". razz

Starry Starry Fright Danshoku Kotonii Sensei! If I just said どちらも好きです.Would that imply that I like both as well? No, I'm afraid not. どちら is a question word. どちらも好きです would mean something along the lines of "Which both is liked?". razz Although the context of this question may be key, I've learned that どちら in a response is fine. Maybe you mean that as a simple statement it is incorrect, but if posed a question 犬と猫とどちらのほうが好きですか。 どちらも好きです。 Should work. Of course different people are taught different things, but did you learn this as incorrect, or is this just a context mix up?
