John Cena vs. The Miz - I Quit Match for the WWEC
Winner: Cena. Do I need to explain this?

Randy Orton vs. Christian for WHC
Winner: Orton. Again, do I need to explain this?

Wade Barrett vs. Ezekiel Jackson for IC
Winner: Ezekiel Jackson. Corre is done, and Big Zeek needs some sort of push.

R Truth vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: R Truth. Rey doesn't need the win and Truth will get one hell of a push, though it wouldn't surprise me if Rey won.

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole
Winner: Lawler. Enough said. Just end it already.

Chavo vs Sin Cara
Winner: Sin Cara. I find it hard to believe they would let the resident punching bag (Chavo) win at a major PPV.

Big Show and Kane vs Nexus
Winner: Nexus. This one just seems to perfectly set up for Nexus to lose. It should be a good match, but Show and Kane go down here.

Kelly Kelly vs Brie Bella
Winner: Kelly Kelly. I hate to say that, not because I dislike Kelly, but because the Bellas are freaking hot. But, Kelly as champ will set up the Kelly vs Kharma feud nicely. Sorry Bellas.

And this is why I waited.

Cena over Miz - There will be some tomfoolery, but Cena retains

Orton over Christian - Think he may get 1 more title reign... just not now.

Barrett over Jackson - The Corre will be a bit too much to handle right now for Jackson

Punk/Ryan over Big Kane - I have faith in Punk.

Lawler over Cole - And no cinnamon flavored fungi was eaten that day.

R-Truth over Mysterio - Mysterio makes a good face in peril. He always gets the last laugh in a feud, but he usually puts over his opponent for the first PPV

Sin Cara over Chavo - First PPV match is a win.

Kelly Kelly over Brie Bella - Kharma petrifies Brie/Nikki and Kelly gets the rollup?

Pick: Sin Cara...Chavo's only there to put the new guy over. Though, a feud would be nice.

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
Ezekiel Jackson vs. Wade Barrett
Pick: Jackson...I'm not sure on this one. Neither of them seem to be a good fit. But I figure Creative will go with the push for Zeke.

R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio
Pick: Truth...Rey's got to put over Truth. Truth's got to be at a bigger state than he is when Morrison returns.

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole
Pick: King...I've been wrong on this one every single time. Please, for the love of everything holy, let me be right...

UNIFIED TAG TITLES MATCH
Big Show/Kane vs CM Punk/Mason Ryan
Pick: Show/Kane...Punk's current state in the WWE doesn't signify him walking out with the belts.

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH
Brie Bella vs. Kelly Kelly
Pick: Kelly...As much as it pains me to say cause she doesn't deserve the belt, they'll probably put the belt on her and then let Kharma destroy her and save the Natty and Beth feuds for later.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Randy Orton vs. Christian
Pick: Orton...As much as I hate it, they're not going to give the belt back to Christian...which doesn't make much sense considering how much hate the WWE got for that move in the first place. Hope I'm wrong on this one and that Christian retains, clean, and remains a babyface.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
John Cena vs. The Miz
Pick: Cena...Miz is going to go the Foley/Rock way and play a recording of Cena saying "I quit." And then it'll be revealed that it was fake, the match will be restarted, and Cena gets the easy win. Same old bullshit. (Either that or Miz wins, and then Cena comes out on RAW, beats him for the belt...and we end up in the same place we would be anyway.

Now my analysis:

Randy Orton vs. Christian - Easily match of the night, and I can't stand Orton. Good showing from Christian.

Wade Barrett vs. Ezekiel Jackson for IC (via DQ, no title change) - This went almost as I had anticipated, namely that Barrett would leave with the title while showing Zeke's dominance.

Big Show and Kane vs. CM Punk and Mason Ryan - See, this I find disappointing; sure, its the tag titles and mean virtually little, but this is Punk we're talking about here! He shouldn't be in these matches.

R Truth vs. Rey Mysterio - Happiest result for me. This is how you push talent. On the other hand...

Chavo Guererro vs Sin Cara - ...this left a lot to be desired.

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole in a "Kiss my Foot" match - All that needs to be said.

Brie Bella vs Kelly Kelly - Moving on.

John Cena vs. The Miz - ...Did anyone else get a James Bond vibe out of this match? I know this is Cena's match, but come on, they could have left the useless dialogue out of it. And of course they had to go with the recording. Lackluster ending to this PPV.

Overall: Disappointment. That's all I feel for this PPV. When will they realize that putting Cena in the main event is NEVER going to get a good result? The Orton/Christian match was BIGGER, MUCH BIGGER than the Cena/Miz match, THAT should have been the main event!
