 Laura blocked the wood with her stick, then pulled out her shotgun and pointed it at the new girl. "What the heck?! I thought this place was abandoned!"

I stood there, petrified. It wasn't an animal! I tried to say words, but they couldn't come out. I thin-k-k we were here first... She took a step back, fear controlling her body. Obviously.. it's not.. Juli was just as scared as any ten-year-old could be. She had never felt this way.. not in a long time. I stepped back again, and ran to the other room. Can, Can! I frowned. What? he asked me. The noises... p-people, and..I'm sorry! Ducan was really tall for his age. He was already around 5'9, or so it seems. He could easily be pulled off as a 15-year-old.
He imprudently got up. He rushed to the other room, and pulled out his dagger. He didn't exactly threaten them, but he gave them an illusion that he had one. I stood behind him.

LauraLaura sighed when she saw more people. "How many more of you are there?!" She swung her stick and forced the disappearing girl back. "What's going on? Where'd you all come from?"

I didn't know why Ducan didn't answer the girl. But I had an idea why I wouldn't. She was threatening me... or so it seemed. Just u- I started, but then Ducan gave me a little "love tap" as he calls it, when he elbows me in the stomach when he wants me to shut up.

LauraLaura noticed the boy elbow the girl. He obviously didn't trust her. She looked things over. She didn't think the scientists would send such young kids after her, though she wasn't sure she could say the same thing about the disappearing girl. She obviously had run into the jerks. She jutted her chin out at the boy. "You put the dagger down, and I'll point my gun somewhere else."

Nice try, I heard Can mumble. That's a way to lower defense. Okay, he had a point. How could they trust eachother. Then, suddenly, Where is else where? popped out of my mouth, loudly. I was beginning to trust the girl who told the other girl to put the gun down, but I knew I couldn't. Not yet, at least.

I took an unnoticeable sigh of relief. I didn't make myself seem afraid when she put down the gun though I really was. Then, fear struck my body. Can gave this girl a death stare, and walked back to the other room. Does he already trust her?! I remained silent, not knowing if I was to go to him or not.

LauraLaura looked over at the younger girl. She gave an apologetic smile. "I'm not going to hurt you. That is, so long as you don't attack me. I'm sorry if I scared you before. I just don't like people popping up, especially if I'm already dealing with someone else." She looked over at Disappearing Girl.

 Chris laid down on the hard bed of his cell and stared hard at the ceiling. How could all of this happen so fast? Why did they want him? It was puzzling to him. There was nothing really to do here for the first few days at the testing facility besides carving pictures into the depressing concrete walls of the cell. With the many carvings in the cell included a list of people who somehow escaped the facility intact. He hoped that someday that his name would be added to that list. Next to it was one of his own carvings - a slice of cake and "The Cake Is A Lie." Chris smirked at the Portal quote. After his kidnapping that small carving was his motivation to keep going. One day he would escape this evil place - the only question was "How?"
