Hikari pushed her glasses back up her nose as she entered the medical wing, glancing about for Hevana. "What was so important that you felt it necessary to wake me up?"

Hevana smiled bitter-sweetly Going to the Captain and handing her a medical chart. "A remarkable Recovery by a civilian, fell five stories, claims to have been altered, though the names of his assailants remains unknown," Hevana gave the full report as she allowed the Captain look over the diagnostic scans. "Sorry to wake you, but it's nearly your shift anyway,"

Hikari flipped through the scans. "Broken legs, internal bleeding..." She paused for a yawn, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. "What's this note here about a... mask?" She looked up from the report to Hevana.

Hevana nodded with the basic Diagnostics walking, and motioning for the Captain to follow, as she led them into the recovery area, "He wears a mask for breathing, It would appear that Oxygen has been rendered toxic for him to breathe, His body having converted to NO2 strict." She cringed slightly at the mention of the poisonous pollutant.

Hikari flipped through the scan a bit more, chuffing to herself, "Well, he'll do just fine once he gets outside." She looked up and smiled at the doctor. "Thank you, I'll see what I can get from him." The captain looked back to see that the man in question was now reclined on his bed. "Good morning," she chirped, pulling a chair up to the side of his bed and nicking one of Hevana's pens. "I'm Captain Nghst, I'll be in charge of seeing that whomever did this to you gets brought to justice. Now..." She clicked the pen and rested her hand on the paper. "Why don't you start at the beginning?"

"....." L kept silent for a minute, trying to recall what had led up to this. "I wasn't always like this.....I used to be just a normal person five years ago. Then they showed up and everything went black. When I came to, I was strapped down and injected with some sort of liquid. They put me through many tests, and told me I showed potential. However, sortly after I had a heart attack and began to suffocate. A scan showed my heart rate was critical and my body no longer worked with oxygen...I'm sorry, that's all I can tell you right now." L told the woman, shutting his eyes as he hadn't slept in a few days.

Hikari wrote quickly, nodding as he spoke. "That's okay, you get your rest." She paused, glancing over her notes. "Do 'they' have a name?" This would be her last question until he was more rested. She just wanted it while it was fresh on his mind so that she could work on finding these people while he slept.

"I didn't get a good look at a name tag or some form of ID on any of them. Just search around for a hole in the side of a building on the fifth floor, I believe it was somewhere close to the industrial area, but not inside it." L said, his eyes still closed.

She scrawled a bit more on the notes then stood up, placing a hand on his arm. "Thank you. We'll do our best to make sure they're taken care of. You just get better. If you think of anything else, Dr. Heller will call me." A fake warm smile that was pointless as he wasn't even looking at her, and Hikari turned away to look for Hevana.

Hevana Wasn't far, She waited just around the corner for Hikari, One eyebrow tilted curiously. The Captain's bed-side manner was...a good act. "Nice smile, you been working on it?" She teased gently smirking in her own mischievous way.
Her nursing duties done for the moment, she let go her professionalism for her split personality. It was a rather dangerous creature, and she wielded it well, hadn't had an "accident" in over a month.

Hikari snickered to herself, pushing a lock of her purple tresses behind her ear. "I got wrote up last week for being too rough with witnesses." She rolled her eyes at the idea. "I mean, honestly. After all the bullshit we do, I'm the one they decide to crack down on? Pft." She nudged her glasses back up her nose. "So what else is new?"

Hevana shook her head sadly, "Quiet as death himself." She wined it was really more like the calm before the storm but she really was looking forward to the tempest. She fell in beside the Captain walking about, "There was some talk about alliances with the angels and such, I've not heard from Azzy since he left though."

Hevana wined pitifully, sticking out her lip in an exaggerated pout. "They'd better I'm getting tired of having to just sit and clean everything, and I actually like cleaning. You know how I get when I'm bored." She walked next to Hikari, bumping into her playfully. "And you? Other than the usual getting wrote up for your smile what are you doing to earn your keep?"

Hikari snickered at the woman. "Oh, you know, the usual. I had traffic duty last week cause of the write up. Now I've got this vampire pissed at me cause I gave her a speeding ticket." She shrugged. "It just comes with the territory, I guess." She lifted the folder. "I guess I should get to work on this."
