I consider myself lucky. I haven't had a PM about gold for a while. Last one I got was some guy who saw me in the charity forum. I saw somewhere else somebody made the n00bs work for their money by making them write an essay, once they had he sent them 10 gold. I should do that one day.

I get PMs begging for gold or items or asking to borrow my rare items whenever I go out in any of my more expensive donation items...consequently I've just stopped wearing them except for when I'm online and I want to...when I log I change into something more normal so the beggers will leave me alone >.<
I usually try and be nice and explain that I don't have any gold to spare(which is usually true...I'm a Gaian Shopaholic =-p and direct them to the charity forum. I generally just ignore requests to borrow rares/donation items, because when I reply and nicely tell them "no" and explain that I don't loan things to strangers they often feel compelled to send me a long PM explaining how wonderful and trustworthy they are. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't...but I'm not loaning them things domokun

Someone asked me if I had a spare Nitemare Headband or Scarf they could have. .. If I had a scarf you'd think I'd be wearing it. And even if I did, who has a spare?? Faithy *shrugs*....I'm the kind of person who actually trusts my valuables to n00bs on occasion.. it hasn't caused me any problems yet. Borrowing an item for a minute to see what it looks like really isn't that big of a deal. At least in my opinion... gonk heart Why would they need to borrow? Why not use TekTek?

i HAD a nightmare scarf, but i was selling it in a joined shop, and it got hacked. sad
i've only gotten like a total of 50 something people trying to beg, at random.
I don't put up with it at all. I don't give second chances. they go straight to ignored list.
may seem a bit harsh, but i don't care anymore. begging is going to be denied anyway. ya know.
