Amai was sitting in his comfy seat inside a large plane that was flying to a small island, far away from his previous home in New York. But it was his real home. That little island and the village upon it was the place where he grew up, with his two best friends, Utau and Tamika. He smiled at the thought of all the good times the three of them would have together, once the plane landed. Which, if his watch was correct, it should be doing... right... about... now.
He rushed his way through the crowd exiting the plane onto the airport. Unfortunately, the airport was on another island, so it would be a five minute trip or so to get to his hometown. But as he reached the docks, he knew it would be worth it.
Once the ride was over -and it was really quite boring- Amai ran as fast as his legs could possibly take him to see Utau and Tamika. There they were, just past that tree, talking to each other. "Hi, guys!" he yelled out with a grin, waving his arms and still bolting at top speed towards the two young women. Finally, he skidded to a halt in front of them. "What'd I miss?"

UtuaShe Smiled Happily As She Hugged Her. She Then Saw Amai She Smiled Even Wider And When He Came Near Enough She Threw Her Hands Around His Neck And Hugged Him God. I Missed Both Of Youse She Smiled And Let Go Of Amai.

Amai was so happy he could explode. He was united with his two best friends, and Tamika was squeezing him around the waist like there was no tomorrow, with all three of them sporting grins wider than the day is long.
As Tamika released him from the bear hug, Amai got to see how much she had grown up, even in just four years. She was really quite pretty. With her wavy blonde hair -a rather attractive feature, or so Amai thought- dark from water, and sparkling purple eyes, almost any man would believe it. But Amai's thoughts were strictly friendly! Utau was also beautiful, but more on the cute playful side. She too had wavy blonde hair, put up in pigtails, and the blue eyes behind the glasses just made you feel compelled to smile at her. Both ladies had matured nicely. But Amai was sure they were the same girls he had met and befriended some years ago.
"Missed you too, Tamika," said Amai, putting his hands in his pockets, "and Utau too."
It was good- no, make that great- it was great to be back.

Utau was so happy. Her two best friends have been gone so long. And they finally came back. "I missed you two a lot!" Utau noticed Amai and blushed. Then saw how tall he grown. "Amai," she said," you've grown taller." She wanted to say more, but was too embarrassed to. Tamika had grown really beautiful. And Amai... he, well, he was cute. Is she having feelings for him? No, it can't be, she thought. Utau was lost in thought. She snapped out of it. "Well since you both are here," she said trying to change the subject. "Let's go to my house."

"That sounds great!" Amai responded lightly, holding up a hand in a go ahead gesture. "Lead the way."
