"my dad gives me so many of these things. eh, people like them, so i just give them out."

Billy just about died. Every time he's met Ironman there was never an opportunity to ask for his autograph seeing as the Avenger was always threatening to tell his parents about his vigilante activities and all. It took all he had not to go full on fanboy on his new friend. Somehow he manged a seemingly normal, "Thank you... Thank you very much." while grinning from ear to ear.
He closed his locker and motioned for James to follow. "So... Is it annoying to have a celebrity father?" Billy asked because, well, Mr. Stark was giving his son autographed pictures of himself.

"nah its really cool, he just gives me them so I don't get harassed all the time for them. But its only boring when he is off some where fighting something."
James totally lied to him because most of the time he was with him in the war machine armor.
"I'm actually surprised most people would be freaking out by now."

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't freaking out right now, as you probably know by now I'm a huge fan of the Avengers. But the way I figure it, you have enough fans to deal with..." Billy replied honestly with a small smile. "After all, you're here to be a normal boy, right?"

"I'll bet." Billy laughed. "Well, here we are. Math 20 with Mrs. Brown."
He entered the classroom and motioned for James to follow. Taking his isolated seat at his desk by the window he thought of how lonely his morning classes used to be, since he only shared afternoon classes with Teddy. Now he had a friend. Now mornings were looking up.

Billy rummaged in his backpack and pulled out a math textbook, a binder and a mechanical pencil. He lay the items out on his desk. He then turned around and asked James, "Did you need to share my textbook? We can stop at the library at lunch and get yours, but until then you can share with me."

"Oh, so you really are as smart as they say." Billy whispered back. "Well, don't feel lonely if I ignore you during this particular class but I really have to pay attention if I'm going to get any of this."

"It's fine, I'll just try to hide from the girls that are staring at me." He shifted in his seat so he could look away from them.

Billy tried hard to focus on his studies that morning but he was so happy to have made a new friend. Not just any friend, but James Stark. As much as he admired James, he envied the boy for not having to study. Unlike James and Teddy, Billy had to study, study hard, to get his average grades. And he didn't enjoy it one bit. Nope. Billy realized the importance of studying, but that didn't mean he had to like it.
It felt like lunch came sooner than usual today and Billy was glad. As he and James exited their last morning class, Billy stretched. "So, do rich boys like you pack their own lunch or buy it at the cafeteria?"

"Sure! Lead the way!" Billy's stomach growled, a reminder of his missed breakfast and... "Oh shoot! I forgot my lunch at home! I guess it's cafeteria food for me today." Billy laughed sheepishly.

James lead him out to his black 69' mustang fastback and unlocked it with his phone. When he got there he plugged in his phone into the dashboard and Jarvis come online.
"Hello, James and guest. how was the first half of school?"
"It went very good. Oh Jarvis this is Billy."
James opened the center consul in the car and pulled out his lunch.
"Looks like Ms. Potts made to much food, she is a really amazing cook, I would hate to see all of this go to waste. Why don't you share it with me? We will eat in here."
